I just checked the Reddit thread and the OP took it down in protest of Reddit's API changes.

Are the tracks incorrect as in the first track should be English but is the French track, or track one is labelled as English but is actually French?
If they're labelled correctly, your media player should be able to select your chosen language from the options, whichever order they're in. I think Plex does it.
If they're incorrectly labelled, there are tools that can fix them, but it's been years since I last used one. I think MakeMKV did it, but it was gui from what I remember.

If you create a Java server, there are mods that let Bedrock players join. One is called Geyser, and I think the other is called Floodgate, but I'd need to double check.
You can set up a free server online through Oracle too, and using the whitelist, you can make it private too. The article I used is here if you want to have a look

Well, they should. Whether you do it or not is another question ;)

Yes, but temp folders get cleaned. You have to manually remove pdfs from your downloads folder

You didn't even need to do that. You could hold down the shift key to bypass some passwords, and just click cancel on others.
Early Windows had awful security.

Ah, I get it, thanks :)
I tried doing it that way at first, but because my wife's laptop is only used occasionally, I was getting the errors from that. At the moment the mesh is working for me.
Next week might be different though 🙈

If you don't mind me asking, what do you mean when you say you have your Plex server as a register of changes?
I've got my PC as a read only source for my music, with everything else copying from that and syncing with each other. That lets me put new music onto my PC, organise it, and send the changes to my network. Is there a better way to do it, or something I've missed?

To be honest, I'm not sure if there's a way to auto delete, I've only ever done it manually. I think Plex can be set up for it, but I'm not sure.

As I understand it, which I'm not sure I do, the -arrs will automatically grab torrents. In my mind, this would eat up a TB pretty quickly.
You seem to be partly misunderstanding. They only grab what you tell them to, so they won't automatically fill your disks with random videos.
What they do is grab any movies or TV series that you specify, and give you the option to upgrade them to a file size and quality limit that you set. For example, you could tell them that movies can be a maximum of 10GB per file, and TV can be a maximum of 3GB, and that you'd prefer 4k.
There are profile options that let you grab any available copy of a video, and upgrade it as better versions come along.

Have you turned on debug logs? I haven't used Whisparr, but on the other *arrs, debug logging gives more information about how they searched, and if something was found but rejected.

I don't remember the steps, but there used to be a way to do it through Calibre. You could download your library into the Kindle desktop program, run a DRM removal tool, and have them available through Calibre.
You might have had to remove the DRM through Calibre, I'm not sure. Hopefully this gives you somewhere to start though :)

Some services will take gift cards. You find out the amount you need to pay, and convert it to your currency, buy a gift card in cash for the amount, then send the code from the gift card to the service.
You have to trust that they won't just run off with the funds, but the whole point is to pick a service that you trust in the first place.

I've noticed that a lot of the reasons to upgrade now are artificial. My wife dug out an old PC to use two monitors recently, but still does the same tasks that she was doing a decade ago. The computer is ridiculously slow though because of 'updates'.
Bog standard things like checking her emails and opening Word slow the computer for nothing. Even bare Windows runs slowly because of the graphics enhancements.

It was nothing to do with the phone. I tried to find one for my father to use for his computer, as he only used the internet now and then, but the SIM only plans had data restrictions on tethering.
They started off as unlimited pay as you go with prices charged by the megabyte then gigabyte, then once high data plans came in, they started to get restricted.
As I said, it's been changing, but as far as I know, there are still plans with tethering restrictions.

The Steam Deck works so well because the screen is only 720p, and even then people have complained about low framerates on some games. Scaling it up to 4k for a modern TV would drop the performance even more.
It looks like a great handheld, but I think trying to use it as a console wouldn't work.

The Steak Link app doesn't recognise controllers reliably on Android. I've got a few controllers that work in other games, are recognised as being connected in Steam Link, but just don't work. Connecting them with a cable lets them work straight away.

I don't think it would ever fly in Europe.
It does, or at least did. I'm in the UK, and it used to be fairly common. Over the last few years, maybe the last decade, more and more providers used the lack of tethering restrictions as an advertised feature to show that they were better than the competition.
Now that we've left the EU though, I wouldn't be surprised to see the restrictions come back. We've already lost free EU roaming on a lot of tariffs.

If you're running the Folding@Home project through it, it might be worth looking at the Banano project. It runs the F@H program in the same way, but using credentials that they give you, and you get Banano as a reward.
On the one hand it's a cryptocurrency, so take it with a pinch of salt, but on the other hand you get it for doing what you're already doing.

Overlord: Raising Hell.
I've been playing it on and off for years, but I've usually only been able to play for an hour or so at a time, then not play for months. I lost track of the storyline, and then forgot how to play properly.
I've been able to play for a few hours at a time for the last few days, and it's been great :D
I was pottering around in the kitchen today, kind of distracted, doing Dad things* when my seven year old taps me and says 'Dad, is the fridge running?' Confused, I said yes, of course it is. The little sod says 'Well you'd better go and catch it then' and gives me the look. Amazing :D *you know, poking things to see if they still work, so that my wife doesn't give me a real job to do...
I've been playing on Linux using Sklauncher for a while now, but it's feeling more and more like a scam. Every time there's an update to the launcher, the old one is immediately disabled. You can only get the new one from their ad riddled site, often with inappropriate ads, and it 'can't' handle the traffic. The download buttons are linked to the ads, so ads can't be blocked either. It feels like the launcher is being disabled in order to force traffic to their site, making people watch the ads for over an hour in some cases. Because of this, I want to find another launcher that allows mods, preferably easily. Does anyone know of a decent one please? Update: For anyone who comes across this thread in the future, I ended up going with Prism Launcher. A few of the options threw me at first, but it's turned out to be exactly what I was looking for :)
Hi all :) It's been a while since I modded a phone, so I'm a bit out of touch. If I root my phone and uninstall some apps, can I remove root afterwards so that I can use things like banking apps without workarounds? I've got a Xiaomi Mi 10t Lite 5g, and it keeps automatically reinstalling its own apps, which then screw up my apps because they take over functions. If I can completely remove apps rather than just hiding them, that would be a bonus. Thanks for your help :)
Hi all :) I've got my original PSP from the UK launch, and I revived it last year. I modded it, I think with CFW, and put copies of my existing games onto the memory card. I'm guessing that it's not going to be ok to talk about downloads, but what's the score with talking about my own ripped games?
Hi all :) I'm putting together a web app for a small music festival, and part of what I want to do is add photos from the various events that we hold. At the moment, they're being posted to Facebook, but I'd prefer to have something separate from that. My thinking is to make a slideshow of lower resolution photos for the web app, and keep the full sized versions on Facebook so that people can download or share them. Even doing this is going to eventually bloat the app though. The other problem we have is that there's no budget for storage, so I need to make it for free if that's possible. Does anyone have any better idea than a lower resolution slideshow please?
I blocked a community recently, but found out that the main problem with it was apparently due to one user. I want to unblock the community and block the user instead, but I can't see how.
