In your opinion, what games released in the 2020s decade (the current one) will be forgotten (i.e. no longer talked about, or known) 20 years from now?
[Take a look at Wikipedia page of GOTY awards.](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Game_of_the_Year_awards)
i posted it here because theres no/i cant find cookie clicker community
I know that World of Warcraft has several of them. What others?
After this year's TI, Dota 2 is now the game with the fifth-most simultaneous viewers. Have in mind, that League of Legends and Mobile Legends haven't had their biggest tournaments yet.
> Remember, every time you read about 10, or 100, or 1000 layoffs in the video game industry, they're not cold statistics. Every one of those figures is a person. A life that has been upended, with enormous consequences for not just the individuals directly involved but their family and friends. Every single person affected by layoffs and departures has their own story to tell, their own history in the business and their own motivations for pursuing whatever comes next.
Archived link: https://archive.is/qHSPD I was just scrolling through my youtube recommendations out of boredom and then suddenly, out of thin air, youtube's algo comes in with a rare W: The Geoguessr World Cup 2024. This is the sort of entertainment I didn't know I wanted lol. I only managed to start watching when the semi-finals were happening and my god, it was way too thrilling than I expected it to be. **VOD**: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Llh4_h-vvKQ **Skip to Grand Finals** (honestly watch the entire thing LOL): https://www.youtube.com/live/Llh4_h-vvKQ?feature=shared&t=26823
I personally have a huge backlog of games I'm happily playing through on the deck. And, having been burnt a few times (Cyberpunk, No Mans Sky ..), I very rarely buy new full priced games anyway (better to wait for a discount and some patches!) But according to this rather clickbate article ... > In the last month alone, we’ve seen three disappointing examples of games that are too demanding for the Deck. Star Wars Outlaws is unplayable on Low settings, even with FSR set to “Ultra Performance.” Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 can’t reach a steady 30fps at the lowest quality setting. And based on the demo, Final Fantasy 16 is unplayable without FSR and Frame Generation, and afflicted with stuttering and horrible frame pacing with those scaling features enabled.

I'm looking for character dialogues. Microsoft Copilot, Google Gemini, etc. are failing to give me quotes. (It's now losing popularity anyway).

Everything I know about Larian tells me that they did not try very hard to hide it. They had to for liability and contractual obligations, I am sure, but they didn't try very hard to hide it.
In a Q&A session that Tom's Hardware attended at IFA 2024, AMD revealed that the next generation of its Ryzen handheld gaming processor, AMD Ryzen Z2 Extreme, will arrive early next year. The Z2 Extreme is the successor to AMD’s current Z1 Extreme, which powers devices like the ROG Ally X and Legion Go. One AMD representative said, “So, we’ve our Z1 Extreme and Z1 in market today, right? Z2 is in the works. We’re working with a number of partners across the OEM ecosystem on that, and it will be coming to market probably in the early part of 2025.”
House Flipper 2 initially left me a little disappointed when it first released. I liked it, but it was lacking in basic features. And it got me wondering: "are there better house flipper games out there?" This video is the result of my months long journey to find out. And boy did I find some weird stuff.

It Gives Me Black Ops 2 Vines, And I Love It! The Graphics Are Great, And The Gameplay Is Smooth! 10/10 For Me!
Bakeru is an incredible 3D platformer from longtime Nintendo collaborator GoodFeel, and its something of a spiritual successor to Ganbare Goemon.
Destiny had the same thing... If you could shoot from the Sparrow there'd be no reason to do anything else.
Even on Android it seems like every game they put out these days is a gotcha MMORPG. I don't really like playing with other people because they keep telling me how bad I am at the game. It's just a game. So I was wondering if there was a good Android RPG that doesn't have any social or gotcha parts of it.
The racists in IGN must be crying buckets :)
Over five years covering video games on YouTube, I've featured a lot of games. It's time I go back and look at what happened to some of the games and their creators since I last covered them. There are some pretty big surprises in here, and plenty of sad stories...
