I tried Jellyfin and the performance for me was sooo much worse than Plex on the same system. Videos took forever to play. Also Plex is way easier for me to share with family than Jellyfin.

We own a Rose Gold Fiat 500 electric, aptly named Lady Penelope.
Curious to see if anyone will spot the correct reference:)

Tell that to my 2014 MacBook Pro that is still going strong. I can do CAD and video editing and the thing still performs fine. Battery life decreased a bit but still lasts way more than enough.
and the new Apple chip ones are also ridiculous. I have one for work, and was able to leave my computer closed in my backpack for several hour running code training an ML model. The thing did not even get warm and the battery went down by 2% only.
That being said, I think the best computer is the one that works for YOU. In my previous job I was forced to use windows and boy did I suffer! Even Office felt clunkier on windows than Mac.

This article has nothing to do with EVs really. It’s about shitty chemical companies that have been polluting the environment producing chemical for other purposes previously, which now are also used in EVs.
This is an article about the need to regulate chemical companies but it’s being used as FUD for EVs.

Interesting. If I’m not mistaken, here if it has an accelerator then it has to be registered with a license plate and it’s not considered a bicycle.
Only pedal assists electric bikes which go up to 25kph are allowed.

E-bikes elsewhere have accelerators and not just pedal assist? Wouldn’t that make it an electric scooter?

People in this thread clearly have never been to Amsterdam. We have protected bike lanes, and where there is mixed traffic, bikes have preference and are actually respected by larger vehicles.
On the other hand, there has been an increase in accidents due to electric bikes going too fast mixed with normal bikes and pedestrians.

Hi all, my brother is getting married soon, and I will be giving a speech at the reception. Last year I was a plus one to a wedding, and someone read this beautiful poem about love in the modern age. Unfortunately I cannot seem to find it, and I haven’t been able to get an answer through the person I knew at the wedding. The poem basically describes mundane situations in modern life. The main one I kind of remember revolved about being in an airport and possibly missing a flight. Alternatively I am also open to suggestions of poems about how love is in the day to day mundane, and not only in big gestures. Thanks in advance!

This is the key!
There is nothing inherently in living with your parents until any age I would say. As long as you learn how to be a self sufficient and independent individual, who shares the responsibility of the household.
Hi all, glad I found this community from the 3D printing one. I’m looking to build. 2.4 and was wondering if anyone has recommendations for a good kit on Europe. I did some googling, but most results I find are US or way too expensive. I’m hoping to spend around €1000 without printed parts if possible, but willing to spend more for good quality parts. Thanks in advance!
I do believe the biggest impact would come from regulating large companies and billionaires, but it’s not one or the other.
I imagine it would destroy the engine and the transmission, but it's just a guess.
