With the amount of marketing it received, I think people would still stick to Valorent or Overwatch 2. I only see videos and posts about Concord being a flop, than promoting it.

I guess the comment has an issue with the "fatal" in the headline, because the staff are unharmed.
Which I find weird that they are more concern with wording than the act of aurstriking.

- Save first. If you aren't living paycheck to paycheck, then always put your money in a separated bank account for saving.
This help eliminating the need to keeping track of your spending.
- If you tend to be fined for overdraft, then use an overdraft protection service. The service fee is much lower than the OD fee.

Incorrect. The plan was to send a signal to the sun to signal that our sun has a civilized planet, so that an unspecified alien race would blow the sun up to prevent humanity any further.

Anyone play in the Early Access? How's the experience? Any server issues?
One thing I dislike about this game it that Arthra gauge generates so slowly and depleted too easy that I rarely use a surge. Then I beat the game today with 90+% completion, then went back to collect things just to realize that there's a charm that generates the gauge when attack. Damn, feels like I played the game wrong, because this made fighting bosses tedious.

Only if the living wage is far better or the job market in that country is better, so I can find another job if things don't work out as expected.
Moving the country means I have to sacrifice some benefits that I already have like my family, dog, and house. Would have said yes in a heartbeat years ago, but not now.

Even though it's everywhere on the news, that's the Windows thing. I still don't know how widespread it is on Linux or if it's even the same issue as on Windows.
learningduck 2 months ago • 100%
Based on the article, it seems like the issue only happens on a specific distro. Is it only Rocky or other Debians?
I wonder if other distros experience similar issues. Maybe linux based users don't even install CS at all and try to leave their OS as lean as possible.

One problem, though. In this case we still don't know the source of this money that they are handing out. Would it become gigantic public debts, while the money will change hands to corporates very soon? The entire country is monopolized by a handful of families.

It's still a hot mess. Helped my wife set it up for developing a Java webapp with Tomcat and it's such a mess to set up, compared to IntelliJ that I could just set up a Springboot easily.

Me too. I do remote work. Our rural home is comfortably big enough to accommodate 5 people. It's cheaper to share bills, no rent, CoL is cheaper in the rural area too.
My baby bonds well with my parents too.

It's the only game from FromSoft that I've ever beaten. I find QoL much more bearable compared to DS1. Parrying allowed me to stand toe-to-toe against bosses also. No more rolling around.

I'm thinking about either Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth or Warhammer40k: Rogue Trader.
However, I wouldn't be playing them anytime soon with my backlog. So, I'm likely to just sit this sale out.

Was it Remake for DS or was it just a remaster?
To me, remasters are like StarCraft remastered that gameplay stays the same, but the graphics got upgraded.
Remakes are like FF7, Dead Space or System Shock that is made from scratch.

Yeah, it's clungy.
So far, I like that attacks are well telegraphed. Not holding for seconds, then coming down on a flash like in ER or LoP, but I haven't even reached the second major boss yet.

Personally, I like the new one over Lies of P. The transversal with the mix of the umbral and the living world feels less linear with some puzzle. Mobs are annoying, and weapons feel clunky, though.
Let's see if I will grow to resent it more as I progress deeper.

I'm going to ask ChatGPT how to prepare a garotte and then I am going to strangle you with it, and you will simply have to pray that I roll the 10% chance that it freaks out and tells me that a garotte should consist entirely of paper mache and malice.

But if a product is so damn great, do you want a person whom you care about to use an alternative product and have a worse experience?
When I see people using LastPass, I feel obligated to inform them about BitWarden, because it's free, open sourced and audited.
Found a dungeon full of knights and clerics last night. What's the lore behind them? From some in game notes, it looks like they are a legion of deserters, but they also have those penitent knights. I doubt that knights who are zealous enough to put on those dreadnaughts would desert the church.

I imagine that if I have to model them myself, they would come out wrong most of the time.

I would argue that some code test questions can be solved spontaneously, but they are limited to easy to some early medium questions, or patterns that are common enough.
I guess this is more common in non FANG companies that don't have to filter out candidates just because of the sheer number alone.

Not only you. The writing style is very tedious. It's even worse in the second book as it treats most characters as just plot devices.
At least the climax felt awesome. These books are bloated and could've been thin down to like 30% and wouldn't lose much.

Pokemon Renegade Platinum. I found the base game was a bit too easy. The ROM hack made it so challenging. Couldn't imagine me playing nuzelocke though.
I'm looking for an external monitor for both programming and gaming. Currently, I'm using a 1080p monitor, but I'm tired of turning my head between the macbook and the monitor when I have to deal with 3+ windows. So, I think a 2K monitor would be a nice improvement for my QoL, wouldn't hurt my GPU too much compared to a 4k monitor. Any suggestion or should I scrub the idea?
I just learned about #no estimate movement and am curious how it's in real life.
Whenever a fast paced action game like Devil May Cry, Prodeus, HiFi Rush or Doom have a grading system then I would feel like not continuing them as if some one is judging my performance, instead of a bar to get better. It's weird that this feeling never happens in a game like Hitman or Overcooked. I view them as challenges, but not grading like in DMC.
Imo, Compared with Storm Gate, ZeroSpace look more geared towards SC2 fans compared to SG that is more WC3 with trees that serve as removable obstacles.
I'm trying out Trillium Note and prefering it over Obsidian. I wonder if there's a community anywhere on Lemmy. I like to learn some tip and tricks.
