That looks great and such a clever idea with the loop!

As for the ruler, maybe you could make a cutout from a piece of cardboard of the same thickness that the ruler fits into so that the page is flat for writing?

This could be me. I first really fell in love in my thirties. Before that I had book boyfriends. Characters who I related to because of how they were written.

I didn’t know what aromantic/asexual was at the time, but they both fit me. I’m now married to a man who is my best friend and who accepts me as I am.

And being aro/ace doesn’t mean that I don’t have feelings. I do. I just have no idea whatsoever on how to express them and still feel like me, I guess?

I’m right there with you. If I were Kuss, I would sign for another team because at JV he will always be just a domestique, apparently. That’s what Jonas and Primos told him today with their actions. They could have worked for him as he has worked for them so so often.

And then Jonas said in an interview that he hoped Kuss would win the Vuelta. Actions speak louder than words, dude!

It will be interesting to see what JV will do. They can’t expect Kuss to play the supporting role while he’s that much ahead, no?

I think that Evenepoel will go for a breakaway if he has the legs today. He’s so much behind now…

Beforehand, I picked today for Wout Poels in the vuelta game I do, no real reason other than he likes tough stages and I want a Dutch win.

    Xfce appreciation post

There is a place for graphically gorgeous distro’s, but when it comes to ease and speed, Xfce is just the best for me. I started using Xfce when Xubuntu first came out and I switched to Linux Mint Xfce when that started. I did try other distro’s when others recommended them, but always switched back to Xfce. I have an old Eeepc that runs so smoothly on the latest Mint Xfce despite being a senior in computer years. And that’s why it was about time I gushed about Xfce on here 😀

Me neither! And I mean it’s a world tour race! I’ve seen continental races that were better organised than this.

It’s amazing that there were not that many injuries because everyone had to adjust the speed.

Favourites are so far behind because of this too. And I know that there will be stages to catch up but it’s not a fair race this way.

His books are the only ones that can make me cry with laughter, even on trains where I try to behave 😀 Also, he’s the only author who made me want to read footnotes 😂

I could never carry an A5 around. I have both an a5 watercolour and sketchbook on my desk, but for on the go I use an A6 sketchbook if I want to sit longer for sketching as it’s a hardcover, but usually my notebook is my go-to.

And I’ve had a similar convo with myself about writing things down, but if I don’t, I get overwhelmed and forget. And yes, I do remember the important stuff I write down, but I think it’s a good thing, because it stays in the forefront of my mind until I check it off 😀

Yeah you can. But a notebook is just always there and doesn’t need a chord to charge.

All kidding aside: if you have ADD tendencies, your phone often distracts you before you can write down that thought or that idea. This is why I always have a notebook with me.

Wow, I had no idea! I was diagnosed with headaches due to wrong posture and wrong lens prescription as a child and I never had it checked afterwards, even though the headaches remained. I just did the exercises my physical therapist prescribed and had my lenses checked every year.

I just accepted the headaches as something I sometimes get and didn’t think it was anything worse, also because my younger brother has migraines and he has vision-like symptoms, I don’t. Figured that meant I didn’t have migraines.

I have all those things you mention. And no, had no ideas they can be painless! How weird is that! I see a lot of reading in my future and a talk with my doctor.

Thank you so much for your comment, it might help me get the right diagnosis for my life long headaches.

I make them myself! I buy the best peppermint essential oil I can find and I have some aromatherapy rollers on Amazon.

Then I add 5 to 10 drops of the oil to the bottle, top it off with almond oil or something like that and then put on the roller top. Put on the lid, and shake it and then remove the top. Roll it on your hand and check the scent, opening it up if the roller needs more and then I roll it on my forehead and temples when needed.

And I might have migraines then because I can’t stand light when the headaches strike.
