I recently copied ~1.6T from my old file server to my new one. I think that may be my largest non-work related transfer.

Dude, imagine my surprise when I pop up a random video I'm interested in and see that urban pop Earthworm Jim in the background. Glad to see we both ended up in the same refuge.

I think because Powell and Chesebro were the only two that requested a speedy trial. The others cases will still happen, just not until later.

The only thing I can tell you is that if you get a keyboard with a bad membrane, it CAN be fixed but it's a huge pain in the ass since you need to replace all the little plastic tabs on the chassis with tiny bolts.

I have both an OG model M and a unicomp model M mini. They both feel great and seem to have zero issues. My first model M was a 1987 and I used a string of pigtail adapters to get it from AT to USB and while it didn't start working until my OS started booting, it was my favorite of all time. It got lost after we went work from home during COVID and they had a moving company pack our desks up. There is not a day I don't miss that keyboard.
With all that said, I don't have any experience with the rp2040 controlled unicomps. If you can get an actual model M on the cheap, I say go with that. If not, unicomps are a fine product in my experience.

The Soul of a New Machine. It really changed the way I think about computers in general.

Let's say this goes through and they drop him from the ballot. What actually happens then? Does it just mean that he can't get their electoral college votes?

Cool, I stopped being lazy and looked up the DVB standards. TIL: a bit about digital broadcast transport methods.

Thanks, I know very little about how DVB works but that makes sense. What is the limitations for DVB-S/C ?

Can you use something like a rtl-sdr for its original intended purpose of decoding digital tv?
I am getting just into hand tool woodworking. This is my second attempt at dovetail joinery. I'm pretty happy with it, but feedback is welcome. I know my tails got a bit gappy. Not sure if I moved my knife wall or just did a poor job of marking.

Let me offer a different direction. FreeBSD has been around since the mid 90's. Is damn featureful. Has a wonderful package management system. Full disclosure, I use Linux on my personal machines but FreeBSD is my server install of choice.

Everyone keeps talking about the fact that he may pardon himself. That is very likely true but let's not forget the fact that anyone else who is elected can pardon him without raising the same constitutional crisis. He could also be elected, resign and be pardoned by his former VP (I find it doubtful he would go this route). None of these will affect charges on the state level, however.
On that others site, rules for a given community would be in a sidebar or sticky. Is there an equivalent for communities that I'm missing?

One of the best tool I got from therapy was learning HALT. Hungry Angry Lonely Tired. These are all triggers and being in one or more of these states is often at the root of wanting to drink. For me, StopDrinking was a good way to head off the Lonely part of that lovely barber shop quartet. Just having the knowledge that HALT is a thing and stopping for a little introspection to see if I was under any of those states went a long way to helping me in the first year of my sobriety.
Hope this helps. You can do this. IWNDWYT.

OS/2 was poised to be a really awesome operating system. Bad decisions and poor marketing really eff'ed that up. We could have had a full GUI, multi-user OS for consumers like 10 good years earlier than we did and it likely would have curbed Microsoft's monopoly.

Honestly, it reminds me a bit of reddit pre-digg migration. I'm kind of enjoying it. Right now, I'm using connect for my mobile access. I also don't hate the separation that the federated servers are falling into. It seems like moderation might be a bit of a PITA but I don't have any experience to back that up.
