The internet -in its current form of trackers, data miners, AI, and surveillance - is a huge resource drain on the environment. Yes, adding a consumer level AI is going to make it much worse

The UX is nice and modern, better than iMessage and other messaging apps I've used. Scheduling messages, group chats allow people to come and go (mod approved) all seem more modern than other chat apps

Totally agree, but what about normies who don't know much or have a friend to help? Cyber security is such a deep well that even a professional doesn't know everything
Maybe it's becoming more like medicine, where everyone needs to know the basics but have professionals for guidance?

Totally, difficult but by no means impossible. I think we should be cautious and have less hubris when it comes to computer security, that was my point

To add to the other security conscious comments, even if you wanted to run a VM, there are attacks that escalpe the VM and hit the underlining OS
Computers are inherently insecure

They're ignoring the simple fact that businesses are putting prices up purely to increase profits.
This is incorrect. Yes, greed exists, but it always exists. Even in classical capitalist economics, inflation comes when supply can't keep up with demand. Fiat currencies floating globally, rampant money printing, global shortages and supply chain issues plus corporate greed starts to show a clearer picture

You could use a password manager or somewhere safe to store the secret, then just point to that reference. Storing sensitive secrets/passwords/etc in a safe way is still up for debate imo

I follow all traffic laws to a tee, just to be the change I want to see in the world. Pedestrian deaths (negligent manslaughter IMO) by cars are at an all time high in my country. As a bonus, I usually end up right next to the asshole speeding and weaving in and out of traffic at the red light
