A Crummy Commercial?

cross-posted from: https://lemmy.world/post/19745956 > What is a Yocan Torch? > > **Introduction** > If you are a fan of vaping, then you may have heard of the Yocan Torch. This device is a portable e-nail that allows you to vaporize your favorite concentrates on the go. It is a popular choice among vaping enthusiasts because of its convenience, portability, and ease of use. In this article, we will take a closer look at what the Yocan Torch is and how it works. > > **What is a Yocan Torch?** > The Yocan Torch is a portable e-nail that is designed for use with concentrates such as wax, shatter, and oil. It is a small, handheld device that is powered by a rechargeable battery. The Torch is made up of two main components: the battery and the atomizer. The battery is the power source for the Yocan Torch. It is a rechargeable battery that can be charged using a USB cable. The battery has a capacity of 1100mAh, which is enough to provide several sessions of vaping before it needs to be recharged. The atomizer is the part of the Yocan Torch that heats up the concentrate and turns it into vapor. The atomizer is made up of a quartz dual coil (QDC) and a glass tube. The QDC is the heating element that heats up the concentrate, while the glass tube is where the vapor is produced. > > **How does the Yocan Torch work?** > To use the [Yocan](https://www.yocanvapeusa.com/) Torch, you first need to charge the battery. Once the battery is fully charged, you can attach the atomizer to the battery. To do this, simply screw the atomizer onto the battery until it is firmly in place. Next, you need to load your concentrate into the atomizer. To do this, remove the glass tube from the atomizer and place a small amount of concentrate onto the QDC. Be careful not to overload the atomizer, as this can cause it to clog and reduce its effectiveness. Once you have loaded your concentrate, replace the glass tube and turn on the Yocan Torch by pressing the power button five times in quick succession. The power button is located on the front of the battery and is marked with a Yocan logo. The Yocan Torch will begin to heat up the concentrate, and you will see vapor start to form inside the glass tube. To inhale the vapor, simply place your mouth over the mouthpiece at the top of the glass tube and inhale. > > **Conclusion** > The Yocan Torch is a convenient and portable e-nail that is perfect for vaping concentrates on the go. Its compact size and ease of use make it a popular choice among vaping enthusiasts. If you are looking for a reliable and efficient way to vaporize your favorite concentrates, then the Yocan Torch is definitely worth considering.

How capitalism facilitates firestorms, floods and tornadoes https://www.workers.org/?p=80369

>Climate change is a long-term shift in the average weather patterns that have come to define Earth’s local, regional and global climates. The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change states that the “scientific evidence for warming of the climate system is unequivocal.” According to NOAA, the Earth’s temperature has risen by an average of 2 degrees Fahrenheit since record-keeping began in 1850. > >Furthermore, the rate of warming since 1982 has tripled, and the majority of this warming has occurred since then. This warming is caused by human activity, referring to the extreme amount of greenhouse gasses emitted under the industrial capitalist mode of production. The United States is the largest per capita contributor to greenhouse gas emissions, and studies indicate that climate denialism, as a cultural and political phenomenon, is most pervasive in the United States. > >These weather events are made more frequent and severe because of the rapid heating of the oceans, atmosphere and land. What were once in a lifetime weather events are becoming annual or semi-annual events. > >The United States’ aging infrastructure has exacerbated the effects of this extreme weather. Recent tornado storms in Ohio, which were caused by the mixture of humid air from hurricane alley and cool temperatures from a low-pressure ridge in the Midwest, have caused severe power outages in Cleveland. > >As of Aug. 18, nearly 300,000 people had been without power since Aug, 12. Meanwhile, Texas has been dealing with a power outage affecting 2.7 million people since Hurricane Beryl made landfall on July 8. That category 1 hurricane has devastated large parts of Texas because of the state’s particularly faulty power grid infrastructure. > >In order for capitalism to develop and sustain its need to maintain and increase profits, it must exploit the environment at a steadily increasing pace. Capitalism requires infinite growth in a world with finite resources. It plunders workers and ecological systems throughout the world. > >Class systems perpetuated by capitalism also make poor and oppressed peoples more at risk of climate-related health issues. Poor people are often the first to suffer and the last to be evacuated during disasters; they receive the least effective medical care. Often, they lose their land or assets permanently without proper compensation. All capitalist politicians do is make empty promises and spread climate denialism. > >To end this existential threat workers must unite and implement the integration of science into economic planning under socialism. Capitalist confirms that money and stealing are the only thing you need to be successful www.theverge.com

Article title: Ex-Google CEO says successful AI startups can steal IP and hire lawyers to ‘clean up the mess’ Okay, I editorialized the title a bit. Basically, Eric Schmidt said that if you were to build a competitor to TikTok after it gets banned using AI, then you could just steal all of the IP, and if your company was not successful, then nobody really cares. But if your company was successful, then you would have the money to pay off the lawyers to get you out of a jam. It is a rather obvious acknowledgment that money and success tend to generate more money and success. One can engage in dishonest acts, cheating, stealing IP, etc. as long as they possess the money to hire lawyers to get themselves out of the situation. They even took down the talk from YouTube because of how bad it looked. And I thought Musk and Trump were the only one stupid enough to admit the obviously evil shit.
