I swear Sony would print money if they released ports for the PS2 classics on PC. I'm talking Sly, Jak & Daxter, Ratchet & Clank, etc.
Hell, I'd kill to play the Infamous games on PC too.

Last time I played NV on console, I stole all the gold from the vault and fat walked all the way across the map to NCR Outpost, then when I realized I couldn't realistically sell them there, I fat walked all the way up to the Strip to try to sell them to the Gun Runners.
I ended up stashing them all in the Lucky 38 anyway.

God, their titles are the worst

Same. I've heard others have the same complaint, but there is a point in the story where it clicks and you're like "ooookaayyyy, I get it now," and it makes you want to play more.
It doesn't really help Aloy and the side characters from still feeling almost entirely wooden though.

Apparently they changed up a couple of the Freaks. Like Cliff isn't a war vet anymore, and that other photographer doesn't take creepy pictures of women anymore.

I kinda hate the first half of Dead Money, before you actually get into the casino.
Those stupid sensors and the fog are so annoying to deal with.

New Vegas has the best DLCs imo. Far Harbor is pretty damn good too though.

I'm not upset they "introduced" DLC (because the first one had paid DLC too), but I am very upset that they decided to remove all the content that I had paid for when I initially bought the game.
And that there was no consolation when it went F2P. It was just "hey it's F2P play now, give us more money." Not even a shader set or something equally useless.

Double Beefy Crunch Burrito. If it's made right, goddamn those hit the spot every time.
Other than that, try a Baja Blast freeze if they have them.

I couldn't think of another big budget fantasy RPG similar in scope and scale to Skyrim, so I just said it twice because they keep re-releasing it.

Give us more stuff to do with the broom! Flying around on it is one of my favorite things. Give us more races, maybe a battle game kind of like Mario Kart with some balloons or something, actual quidditch.
On top of that, more mini games in general, like the courtyard bowl rolling one, and make them repeatable! More dueling leagues to find and participate in around the world would be cool.

I'm so fucking pissed about that to this day. Hellraid could have been a serious contender with the likes of Skyrim and Skyrim. The gameplay videos looked so fucking cool, I wanted so badly to go through a horrifying medieval hellscape that they showed off in the trailers.

It took them about a decade after it had been relevant to make a Borderlands movie. I'm not surprised it took this long.

The Bungie era of Halo (Combat Evolved through Reach). You can never go wrong with those games, and the soundtrack alone will get you pumped to play through humanity's last stand.

I saw the leaked trailer for that and I was freaking out about the possibilities that game could have.
I was just wondering everyone's favorite level(s) were/are. You can explain why you like it, or you can just name drop the level you like most. Mine are probably: 1) Assault on The Control Room, I love the big epic set pieces of the level, and it has probably the best/most "examples" of what Halo is as a game than any other in CE. You have big weapons, vehicles, large open battles, and awesome music. 2) Delta Halo from Halo 2. I love the lush jungle setting and going through the underwater elevator is always fun. Plus I love just beating the hell out of Truth. 3) Halo, from Halo 3. Like Assault on The Control Room, this level has it all
![](https://lemmy.world/pictrs/image/f64ec449-6b4b-4af0-acce-cd5261d8db70.jpeg) I have a cool job that lets me travel around to different conventions, and I've been seeing these Nat20 Sabers folks at pretty much all of them. I finally decided to check them out, and it's actually pretty sweet! At their booth, they have a "forge" set up with different pieces so you can make your own custom hilt, then they put the electronics and all inside. The blade is extremely durable and can take a beating. They had a sign reading "free lightsaber battles" so people could mess around and try them out, and they encouraged them to hit them pretty hard. It has (I think) 9 different sound fonts, motion controls, color change, accelerometer so it reacts when you move it even just a bit which is actually very nice, clashing effects, blaster deflecting effects, a *drag* effect for some theatrical moments (like you're dragging it along the wall or floor), and saber locking effects. Overall it honestly just feels really nice, and it's decently lightweight as well so you can really swing it.

So I've been playing through all the Arkham games lately, and I had an interesting thought about the whole Arkhamverse as a storyline. I think the entire game series is based (loosely) on The Killing Joke story, with other major events, references, and storylines lifted from other Batman comics. I just think TKJ was used as a basis for the games' world. We see Joker's beginning with his flashback at the end of Arkham Origins, which is almost identical to his TKJ origin, as well as him crippling Barbara in that flashback during Arkham Knight (right down to the clothes he's wearing). The overall dark tone of the games lend to this theory, as well as Joker being shown just how sadistic he can be. What do you think?
If it's at all possible. I just find it kind of annoying to have to scroll through super long posts just to get to the comments. Review threads for newly released games in some of the gaming communities are what prompted this idea lol. Edit: what the hell is going on with that account that keeps spamming nonsense?
So I like to use Xbox controllers (doesn't matter if it's first- or third-party) because I like the layout, it's just comfortable to me. However I've noticed that on all my controllers in the past few years, the left thumb stick will start to "give out" over the course of a couple months. For instance I'll be pushing it forward all the way, but it won't register for some reason and my character will only move a little bit. Sometimes wiggling it a bit will fix it, sometimes it doesn't. And it's not like I'm squeezing the hell out of the controller or mashing the stick constantly; in fact it's made me try to be more delicate with my controllers, even though I'm just playing the games normally. Is it just how controllers are, or am I just getting the shit end of the stick?

Like, I travel around for work and I've met plenty of people from all backgrounds. Why is there a demographic of people who don't seemingly bathe regularly, or at the very least wear something to cover up their BO? I could understand if it's an allergy, or even religious reasons (though the people I've met that smell bad are usually you're average American young adult man) but recently (like in the past week, recently) I've met a concerning number of people who don't seem to wear any kind of deodorant or possibly don't even bathe regularly; it's starting to become an issue for me, as I don't even want to interact with them when I can smell them walking up from 3+ feet away yet I need to for work. Does anyone have any possible insight?
