Yup. Business logic for things that cost millions or billions should not be run by an approximation machine.

Ezekeil 25:17
The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he who, in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of darkness, for he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know my name is the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon thee.
Due to the recent thread here that I unfortunately had to delete (the OP was not playing nice), and the evidence and similar stories mounting over the last few years, I am making this post to acknowledge the problem our USA brethren are dealing with. I am not saying there are any good solutions to this, or that you should take things into your own hands, thats for each person to decide for themselves. But this is rather an acknowledgement and also a reason to treat this situation with empathy. Stay safe out there everyone!

Debian is the most stable distro and downstream loads of distros rely on Debian being clean. This dev has to be strict if they want to maintain the status quo. Rather let the user DL this as a standalone package and still use it, instead of it being included by default with the possibility of breaking.
And another thing. Version pinning should be normalized. I just can't bend my mind around code which has to be refactored every 12 - 24 months because dependencies were not version pinned and a new thing broke an old thing. Unless this code is your baby and you stare at every day, constantly moving forward, you should write code that lasts.

I take the side of the admin. If someone can't accept or understand that a cat eats a meat based diet then they deserve to have reality thrown in their face. Better than some poor animals being tortured.

It's against the rules of the community to advise others what to do with their medications.

This is a client access sector. Not a point to point carrier link from a tower. It will be aimed towards the people with devices and it will spread out its signal in 180 degree or less angle.

I will allow this discussion but in general it's frowned upon to discuss obtaining medications illegally, and its against the rules to encourage others to take a medication or where to find it.

Due to the inverse square law this would be way more efficient if the tower was in the center surrounded by the reflecting mirrors. Unless I'm missing something?

Actually, even if you bred an apple tree with itself, due to the genetic recombination of recessive genes, the same thing happens. So it's more complicated than 50% of the genes missing.

Some advice that you are welcome to completely disregard:
Migrate to digital workflows with a good stylus like XP Pen.
Create an online portfolio of low res and/or watermarked images that you can link anyone who is interested.
Develop a relationship with a quality printing service near you.
For hard copy requests, like for example someone who wanted your folder, you can have the image printed and wrapped onto a folder. This way you can tailor the medium to what the client wants.
If someone wants an exclusive piece, then just print it once and don't add it to your portfolio.
Good luck!

This is a stupid thing to worry about compared to space debris becoming such a problem we can't ever safely have satellites again and all existing satellites being destroyed.
The Rokeby Venus is a painting by Diego Velázquez which was completed between 1647 and 1651. It depicts the Roman goddess Venus in a sensual pose, lying on a bed and looking into a mirror held by her son Cupid. The painting is the only surviving female nude by Velázquez. Since 1906 it has been in the National Gallery in London.

>Some people use the pain of RSD to find adaptations and overachieve. They constantly work to be the best at what they do and strive for idealized perfection. Sometimes they are driven to be above reproach. They lead admirable lives, but at what cost? 👀
I made a post to a community on lemmy.world from my dbzer0 account and its been 24 hours and I don't see it when using my lemmy.world account?
Is it just me or is the learning curve a lot greater with Zabbix? The error messages seem extremely vague or completely useless. The web GUI fields don't have proper validation. They moved a lot of things around in the 6.4 version and now googling a solution gives me out of date info. The template network sensors are picking up about 20 ethernet interfaces on windows VMs in HyperV and I cant select just the one that I want to monitor (I guess I have to write my own sensor for that?). I was demo'd Zabbix by a friend who has 39k+ sensors working on less hardware than my 1000 sensors use in PRTG, and the price difference is huge... So I really want this to work for me but I spent the whole day today feeling uneasy about it. What are your guys thoughts?
https://lemmy.world/post/2074677 One of the admins for Lemmy.world posted a business advert here and the way Lemmy works I don't have the power as mod to remove admin posts. I have created a ticket on Lemmy support to try and have it removed. My apologies, I hope it gets sorted out soon.
[@phillycodehound@lemmy.world](https://lemmy.world/u/phillycodehound) Please remove your advertisement from the ADHD community. Its clearly stated in the sidebar that advertisements are not allowed. It sucks that I have to appeal to support because an admin broke the rules and I have no means of managing it myself as the community moderator.
>Experiments have revealed that, in common with other euphoriant drugs, THC selectively activates dopaminergic neurons in the ventral tegmental area. In an electrophysiological study French et al. (1997) reported that low doses of THC increased the firing of these cells. Tanda et al. (1997) used microdialysis probes to show that low doses of THC (0.15 mg/kg intravenously) caused an increased release of dopamine from the shell region of the nucleus accumbens, an effect that is also seen after administration of heroin, cocaine, d‐amphetamine and nicotine. Tanda et al. (1997) found that the increased release of dopamine provoked by THC could be blocked by administration of the µ‐opiate receptor antagonist naloxonazine, suggesting the involvement of an opioid mechanism.
