Let's see, would Trump be better for Palestinians? To the extent we should work to get him elected versus Harris over this issue? Well, one would have to be incredibly stupid or just a trump supporter or both to think that. Trump would come with a bonus of a few different genocides - Ukraine, Central American immigrants to the US, trans people - and absolutely continue finding and supporting Israel. So what's your point exactly?
zeppo 2 days ago • 100%
No, I'm going on what Trump and dozens of high level Republicans have very clearly stated about the current war, as well as the long history of Republicans supporting Israel with funds and weapons. That isn't speculation at all.

Not precisely as I mentioned public ownership of some industries and services that are privately owned. Healthcare and drug production would be two good examples.

- practical: I don't have any delusions that the US will implement leftism more extreme than EU style socialist policies any time soon
- American: I'm from the US
- socialist: I feel the government should be involved more in regulating industries, owning certain categories of services, moderating excess wealth, and ensuring the financial/economic well-being of citizens, as opposed to the conservative style which is basically 'well, if you're poor then fuck off'.

I guess but it depends which one. Whatever the fuck is wrong with Trump as far as his mental/personality disorders is disqualifying.

Eating it when I had zero tolerance was cool for a while. When I am smoking regularly though, I either don’t feel it or I take too much and feel awful.

I’m more of a practical American socialist than a radical communist (since that’s unlikely to happen here) but it offends me because republicans are just so ignorant. The average Republican essentially has no idea what socialism, communism or fascism actually are, and conservatives have been using this as a scary label for my entire life.

Not by voting for people in elections they can’t win. Vote at the local and state level or in primaries for people who will enact voting reform.

I'm often astonished by just how odious and unlikable conservative commentators are and wonder how anyone can seriously watch the people on Fox and people like Trump, Charlie Kirk or Dan Bongino and think "yeah! I like and trust this person!"

There's one photo where she has a slight protrusion in a tight dress... and it looks like, you know, her vulva. I swear these people have never really seen a woman naked in person. You'd figure they'd at least get a clue from porn.

Unfortunately, I think most people do want wireless connections at this point. We might even have phones with no wired connections at all soon.

It certainly covers the use case for an iPhone, right? Not sure what you're trying to say. If you don't have an iPhone why would you care if iPhones have 3.5mm jacks?
zeppo 2 weeks ago • 100%
Apple EarPods are $20 in either Lightning, USB-C or 3.5 mm. You can get off-brand Lightning for $6 at Walmart, so I don't think price is a factor.
Anyway, I have had a phone without a 3.5 jack for 4 years now and it hasn't really affected my life much. I thought it was lame they removed it too, I don't really expect electronics manufacturers to keep a connector from the 50s forever.

LeI’m n is so desperate for power, ugh. Those two fucknuts working together is another excellent reason to make sure DT does not take office. How horrible too, a vaguely defined department of “efficiency “? From the idiot who goes around on his production floor doing shit like “why does the driver go backwards twice before going forwards? Eliminate that step” (it prevents cross threading, but Leon doesn’t know that).

People buy wireless earbuds because they want them though, not because they were forced into it.
Yes, the charging thing is annoying but it doesn’t affect me in most situations. Also, you can get an adapter for like $10 that allows you to charge and use wired headphones.

Definitely. Back when I used FB and Twitter I learned that reporting is entirely useless. You just end up with some automated message about how they reviewed it and it "didn't violate their community standards" with some lame verbiage like "we realize this isn't the outcome you were looking for", regardless of how ridiculously blatant whatever you reported was. On the flip side, I was banned for clearly misinterpreted or brigaded comments, and then an appeal just gives you the inverse where they reviewed it and whatever you posted was definitely terrible and they "realize this isn't the outcome you were looking for".

Uh, what? My brain is "on America" because I said we should work on drug abuse and overdose prevention and treat mental conditions, plus the conditions that make people engage in antisocial behavior? Or that I don't want to go into a restroom with someone passed out on fentanyl?
I'd add, maybe you haven't lived in urban areas with drug problems and seen this personally, or maybe you just want to be a Redditor and insult people. Idk. I had a gf who worked at a Starbucks in downtown Denver and they regularly had to figure out wtf to do with a person who had been in the bathroom for an hour and a half, and it usually turned out to be someone who had ODed on opiates. That was 10 years ago. It's worse now.
zeppo 2 weeks ago • 33%
As far as restrooms specifically, we need to solve a few other issues to make that one work. Drug abuse, antisocial behavior, and mental issues. If we have public restrooms but someone has smashed the fixtures, smeared shit on the walls or is passed out in there from an opiate overdose, it’s not actually better than not having a restroom.

Definitely not a typical music video.
