That thing is pretty awesome! I've never heard of it. Thanks for the suggestion.

Soldering stations that are fixed to an outlet are also expensive. It's not a cheap tool kit. If it is cheap, it's a garbage iron that will likely do the job but you will struggle.
I'm trying to buy one for work and every station worth considering is easily over 200 dollars US.

Thanks I didn't really think of it that way. Never really used the service before so I was taken back at the idea but that makes sense.

Maybe this is a dumb question but why are people willingly using a third party app to order food if they're going to go get the fucking food themselves anyway? I had no idea this was a thing. Do we not like looking up phone numbers? No access to online menu? Pay a premium to avoid having a conversation? The only thing that makes sense is not wanting to have a conversation.

This isn't adhd it is the legit flow from after a bullshit meeting. Then by the time you get ramped back up again it's the next meeting.
My only gripe to the chart is there should be some flat lining down near the bottom on the productivity side as a buffer pre and post. You spend time doing nothing wondering why you need to attend during pre-meeting time then during post-meeting time, doing nothing thinking about how you weren't necessary at that meeting. Then you begin the accel ramping.

Being the most favorable game market does not mean "there is no competition". It's just the competition is doing it wrong so everyone flocks to what they like or have stuck with.

I use edge at work and Firefox at home. Using edge every work day for 3 years and don't really have many complaints about it. I used to actively avoid it, but after trying it, it doesn't really seem all that bad.
My only gripe is I infrequently have trouble logging into an Ethernet device locally.

We still got shift differential on swing shift. I did it for 7 years. It maximizes 24/7 coverage with less crews, but it has a side effect of the end users of the schedule developing severe alcohol abuse and depression.
Sat - Friday 8 hours day
Wednesday - Tuesday 8 hours night
Friday - Thursday 8 hours second
The pay period was separated in such a way that you would not get double time even though you are scheduled 7 days in a row every week.
I messed the schedule up so I fixed it. And yes, there was only 1 day off between second shift and day shift rotation.

The coolest thing that happened to me with teams was somehow being invited and automatically accepted to some corpo training event. 1000 attendees. My computer would not shut the fuck up with random people in chat. It was so strange. It was like a twitch stream chat but talking about excel instead.

I know some of their hardware also sucks for the people saying that. I've had a share of crappy logitech stuff that kind of pissed me off. But, I love my MX master 3. I use it for work, it is so fun to wind your finger up and scroll downward on whatever long winded scroll able item you may happen upon. I had it for 2.5 years, it's still trucking, I feel like I only charged it 4 times. It's truly awesome.

There's this third party hotline we use to call in so it's kind of separated in that they may not know our actual policy. Regardless anyone that has personal time knows what it's for.
I called to use a personal day. "Hi I'm calling off for my shift tomorrow. I want to use a personal holiday."
"Ok, why are you calling off?"
"Because I'm using a personal holiday. I have 30 hours left I want to use 10 tomorrow please."
"Ok I have you for 10 hours personal holiday I just need a reason"
"I don't need to provide a reason. It's a personal holiday. As long as it's no less than 8 hours before my shift, I just tell you guys I want to use a personal holiday. I don't have to provide a reason."
"So you don't want to provide a reason?"
"No, thank you."
That was basically the end of the conversation but I was just like "holy fuck lady please just stop" at the end. No one gives reasons for vacation days and personal holidays. Sick days ( if you're lucky enough to have sick time) are implied. Even if I called off, didn't have time to use and ate points, are you going to give me less points if I provide a reason? No. We're not going to do that. We're just being fucking nosey.

Kind of crazy they can cram the same technology into point I/O modules. Had to take this guy apart today to move jumpers to change it from -10vdc to 10 vdc range to 0vdc to 10vdc for a system upgrade. Really made me think how convenient new stuff is. Those jumpers are a mouse click in studio 5000. Was a fun experience today working with some old reliable tech mixing with new stuff. This module might be as old as me.
