I am not against JavaScript. I sometimes use JavaScript and I don't see the wrongs in that. What I am concerned is why so many websites use 3rd party JavaScript. This is disgusting because you sell your visitors out. Besides you can't control the content of 3rd party scripts and most of them sell your data and spy on you.

The thing that annoys me so much is why every damn website has to depend on gOoGle scripts to function. E.g : most of website depend on googleapis or ajax.googleapis. why don't you just stop hotlinking everything to 3rd party shits. This is basically spread Google's domination on web. Remember, those 3rd party libraries are not Free. They take visitors data and make you dependent on their services. So Google has become the gatekeeper of many websites.
I have a website and I coded everything by hands. No 3rd party JavaScript and other 3rd party BS. It makes my website run so damn fast

Nope xmpp is still going strong. I've been using xmpp over whtsapp for a while and I like it so much. You can even make a voice and video call. The best thingis it is federated just like fediverse

Matrix is bloated, eating VPS resources and it's tied to Israeli Intel. Xmpp is better than bloated matrix. Besides I don't trust matrix very much. Most of users use main matrix instance and don't bother to spread the servers to avoid centralization

I will continue to use ublock and let Google lose money in the process I don't mind. In fact I'm all for it

I agree 100% with you. Whatscrapp is just a proprietary user subjugating version of XMPP. I prefer to communicate using xmpp protocol because it's federated like fediverse. You can use conversation for android

"Sure, Chromiums code is available and you can modify and redistribute it. But if you want to send your changes to the main project so that more people may benefit from it, it is ultimately Google’s decision. This is the problem with projects that are not community-run."
Google is asshole. This shows than NOT all open source codes are free as in freedom. Stallman is right.

You guys are the culprits. You love chromium right? And chromium is from google. And have you stopped for moment to think why chromium is free and good? Because Google wants you to get addicted to it. Google wants you to not feel comfortable with other browsers such as palemoon, librefox or Firefox. Once the majority of users use chromium, more and more websites will only work for chromium. And now Google dominates the web with its WEI thanks to majority of users who uses chromium. Web is not open anymore to begin with. It's dead since chromium took over.
Before chromium Apocalypse, there were many browsers engines: presto (opera), msie, gecko, goanna (palemoon) but now 99,9% of browsers are Chromium.
Google is very smart, give them free product with great features (chromium) and when the product takes off, subjugate the users with proposed standards such as WEI, FLOC etc.
Google never give a damn about users. Chromium is free because it is only tool for web domination

Firefox is like a full blown feature creeps. I mainly use palemoon because it lets me to save memory while browsing the web. Palemoon is like lynx, simple and doesn't have too many features like webgl, webrtc and so on. Only JavaScript and ajax
