This clearly only applies to situations where the kids have more money than the parents. Generally, family helps out when they can. If you can't help, then don't. Obviously you shouldn't help your parents financially if they're more wealthy than you.

I've never heard this before, and it sounds gross and stupid. If you have the power to help your family then do it. Ignore the psycho who lets his parents wallow in poverty.

V3 with Heavy Kailh Switches is a Beast

I bought this Keychron V3 barebones kit with some nice keycaps and Kailh Speed Pro Heavy Plum switches (70g tactile). I did the bandaid mod and the tape mod. I tried it with linear 40g Keychron switches first but it felt and sounded weird. The full black keyboard is almost ominous and requires heavier actuation for the full experience of it to be consistent. So these tactile 70g Kailhs are perfect. The sound is more dampened because the keystrokes don't bottom out as hard, but it's also more crisp because of the barely-noticeable tactile bump. It feels like I'm writing on stone somehow. It's really a unique typing experience. I guess the "keyboard enthusiast" trajectory is one of escalation because I've graduated to the barebones kits and I'm dreaming of fully customized boards now. EDIT: This was supposed to be a photo post but the photo didn't work. ![](https://sh.itjust.works/pictrs/image/15b8fbf7-01fc-4f82-8d75-b3994ce643b2.webp) ![](https://sh.itjust.works/pictrs/image/9863c120-c32b-4316-93eb-8b9c84740cce.webp)

Is there any way to edit orders after they've been made?

I ordered a new keyboard from keychron.ca but forgot to update my address since the last time I ordered (I moved to a new city). So now the order is paid, not yet fulfilled, but I can't get through to help and there's no option for changing the address. I sent them an email and I keep waiting for somebody to be available in the chat. I don't want to relax too much or wait too long, just in case they send it to the wrong address. At that point it will be too late. Has anybody dealt with a similar situation from Keychron? Edit: They did finally respond and changed the shipping address in the backend (it does not appear in my order listing but I'll trust them that it's changed in the places that matter).

I never saw anybody complaining about Sync or its pricing. But I've been inundated with bad memes about how it's wrong to criticize Sync. It's like how right wingers keep complaining about the war on Christmas and how you're not allowed to say "merry christmas" anymore... but I never heard anybody say "don't say merry Christmas." I had downloaded Sync and I was 100% going to try it... but now I hate it because of this ad campaign. And yes, I know that's irrational, and no, I don't care! I'll donate to Jerboa and Connect and I'll keep using them until the Sync zealots relax a little.
