Hello again everyone, hate having to make these posts and I really wish there was something else i could do :( For a quick recap ~ my wife and I are homeless and disabled, and lost pretty much all of our family over the past year and have no friends around so zero support system. We currently have been able to manage staying in a sleezy motel, and thanks to you guys have been able to stay off the streets thus far. I was advised that I should perhaps start fundraising for next months rent a bit earlier so it isn’t a last minute desperate nail biting affair as to whether we’ll be on the street or not - for reference, again, it costs $55/day, $250/week, or $650/month if paid in advance. Any help is greatly appreciated and I can’t say enough how much it means to us. We’re in a really hard spot just in general as we lost half our food stamps and due to the stoppage of the Affordable Connectivity Program we’ve had to start paying for phone service as well which is extremely vital, and we do not have a vehicle and stay in an area lacking good public transport so we have to basically rideshare to anywhere we’ve got to go unless it is extremely close as I’m completely unable to walk most days and only can manage a short distance when I can due to an injury. This is just to say again, absolutely anything is greatly appreciated. One more thing is that, I have a refurbished laptop I got a long time ago off eBay, but the it hasn’t been able to be turned on in a few months - I’m assuming it’s the battery as I could tell it was failing beforehand. The particular battery is anywhere from $25-$99 to replace but obviously we’d be going for the absolute cheapest one we can manage - hoping to maybe scrape about $50 together for this as that should be enough. For the bajillionth time because I can’t express this enough, thank you so much everyone. We should hopefully be out of this situation come November sometime. Our phone bills are also past due, which we heavily rely upon for access to funds and a myriad other things for survival as well as communicating with eachother when apart. ~$90 is needed for both bills to be paid. We are down a food stamp card as well so things have been EXTREMELY difficult as of late. Any help is greatly appreciated, rent and phones are priority but we also desperately need $$ for food and medications we havent been able to fill yet either. Thank you all so much in advance. Sorry again, I hate asking for help so much but we’re in an extremely dire position right now all things considered. Help is next to nonexistent and other avenues have proven fruitless. I have an appointment with my orthopedic surgeon tomorrow and with pain management today, I had surgery a few years ago but was unable to do much follow up afterwards due to the chaos in my life and homelessness and have been dealing with a chronic infection in my ankle, which is why I can’t work as I can’t be on my feet much at all. I finally have been able to see a doctor about fixing this, and am going to need surgery again within a month or two. All that’s to say I do not have a way to and from my appointments or money for any co-pays they might incur. Altogether between today and tomorrow it will cost me at least $80 for the transportation, and another $20 at least in co-pays if anyone can help me with this or else I will have to reschedule and will incur a fee for todays appointment because of rescheduling so close to the appointment :/ thank you guys, youve been the only thing keeping us fed and off the street the past couple weeks ❤️ can dm for payment info or see previous posts!

Hello again! Thank you everyone that helped us get this month paid for, sadly it looks like we might have to deal with this through to November now which really sucks, but for now we arent desparately chasing down rent for the night fearing we’ll end up on the street any given day. This post is just for some help with food and general hygiene products along with paying for some of my wife and I’s prescriptions that have been ready for a while but we havent been able to pick up that are pretty important for our health and cause really shitty withdrawal symptons without them. It would cost us altogether, $120 to pick up every one of them. However, we can make due with just getting the most important ones which we’d only need about $70 for. Any help towards food and the hygiene products mentioned (deodorant, shampoo, toothpaste, etc) would also help a lot as we’re extremely low on both since our food stamps were cut :/ I hate to ask for help again, but due to our situation which I detailed a little bit in my previous posts, we don’t have many options or places/people to go to for help at the moment :( DM for payment links (i think its technically against the rules to post them here?) or for questions etc! this community is amazing and we cant tell you all how much youve already helped us, having the stress of worrying about if we’ll end up on the street every night lifted for the next few weeks/last week or two has felt incredible and we owe it all to the generosity of our fellow comrades here. thank you, and solidarity forever!

We’re both disabled and I currently can barely walk due to complications from a surgery I had, and am dealing with an infection as well so being completely without a place to stay is terrifying at the moment. Help we were getting has greatly diminished for the foreseeable future. Hi everyone, this my first post here as a friend of mine strongly suggested I seek help here and even helped me make this account because it’s sometimes difficult for me to access internet or, to be honest, have the energy to make a post like this. My wife and I have been homeless for several months now, as Ive lost both my parents within a year and without going on and on about my life story we’ve basically been thrown from one abusive traumatic situation to another either having to leave all of our things behind or having them stolen from us. We’re both disabled, myself severely mentally and physically and my wife has severe mental health issues stemming from all we’ve been through the last several years. Im dealing with an infection from a surgery i had, thats lead me to have to prepare for another surgery, and leaves me unable to do much physically and on top of that we have no means of transportation therefore finding work or income is at this time not viable. we’ve had to go day by day paying for a motel room, praying we are able to scrape together enough to live from people willing to help. However, two people I can now call friends have been basically keeping us alive, and have both fallen on difficult situations themselves and have informed us that theyll be unable to help as much if at all for the near future, leaving us again to face the prospect of being on the street with no support, nothing to our names, and several mental and physical health issues. We are also down a food stamp card at the worst possible time, and the phone service I had through the Affordable Connectivity Program has been cut leaving us now with a $120 bill that must be paid within the next 3 days or else we’re out cell service as well.. I have also have a surgery scheduled for the beginning of next month, and hopefully sometime in september or october at the latest another friend of ours maybe be able to help fully lift us out of this situation for good, but surviving until then is going to be extremely difficult and Im frankly terrified and doing my best to figure out how to keep my wife and I safe and not worry her too much. for reference, it costs us $55 a day or its possible to pay for a week at a time for $275. Im so sorry for the length, and if this isnt quite what this sort of request should entail, but all that being said if anyone is able to spare anything at all any little bit makes a difference.
