Whoah, thanks for that. I rarely use fb and while I knew that they collected and connected information anywhere they could, but I had only ever seen the main fb settings and turned those off as much as possible.
This is wild.

Everyone left after EOC and now those that returned play OSRS.
When I started playing OSRS last June I checked the player count that evening, 10k players in RS3 and 90k in OSRS.
The game has turned into one giant "limited time" event mill, and many of the new places are missing things like cute examine texts that gave it soul.

Did you read the article?
"Russia launched 127 missiles and 109 attack drones"
and later it says:
"Previously, an attack last December when 158 missiles and drones were fired at Ukraine, had been considered the largest attack so far."
It's been a while since I was in school but I think 236 drones and missiles is more than 158?

Had an issue on my golf where I had the secondary radiator fan die, so it would de-rate the compressor and run the main fan full time. I put an after-market (cheap) fan in, but the system didnt think it was running and was causing similar issues where at speed it was fine but when stopped it wouldn't cool (compressor would run a few seconds then off for 30 seconds). It was not until I replaced it with a OEM 2nd hand that the system was able to see the fan running as normal, so the compressor was allowed to run as normal."

Clove oil. You can get it in a tiny vial at the chemist. You pick off small bits of cotton, roll them into little balls, and dip into the clove oil. Wring out most of it against the side of the bottle, then place directly on the site of pain and bite.
In your case you might want to make strips of cotton or something.
It tastes absolutely horrible and will make your whole mouth numb, but it is antiseptic and will give you enough relief to sleep.

It definitely is, but these recent years have seen more and more unfinished games pushed to the finish line with game breaking bugs and missing content, all while charging AAA prices.
Capitalism is what it is, a metric for "success" cannot just mean you are profitable, you must be more profitable each year. Thus the enshitification of everything continues.
It is becoming difficult to "pay more for quality" as the quality of every publicly traded brand is the first thing that suffers when they are pushed to make more profits each year.

A lot of countries outside the States have cafes and restaurants, even pubs with play areas for children specifically designed so parents can go out with their children and enjoy a meal and get together while their children play.
I moved to Australia from the States and remember the first time I saw an indoor play space with sound proof glass walls larger than any McDonalds in a nice pub with sit down dining. Such a neat idea.

They have not left, and are indeed building a house there and posting endless pro Russia videos.
Nevermind the initial articles and the poor wife's tearful video that was deleted after they were "requested" to do so. Which of course they then denied and said of course they edited it themselves.

I missed the discussion on voting the other day it seems, but for what it's worth, I like the voting system. In real life discussions happen in open air, and don't hang there in posterity for people to stumble upon after. When we come to a consensus in conversation it is then left at that and we move on.
When online, these discussions stay as they are, and I think voting gives a way of people to come to a consensus, to leave a mark upon the conversation such that the people who come behind understand how everyone felt about it.
This is helpful I think, because it does not hide the down votes on nasty comments or ideas that hurt others.
One of the most interesting and horrible things about the internet is that every village has a "crazy Bob" but because they were the minority the good of the people outnumbered their outlandish or hateful ideas.
Now they can and do find each other online, forming a vocal and damaging minority. Without the majority able to show their dislike, human nature means more will fall in line with them and their ideals.

What ever happened to Helldivers2 and the whole Sony making it (and was it Ghost of Tushima?) unavailable in certain countries thing?
We were excited to try Helldivers as we are between games, but after Sony pulled that stuff we didn't give it a second look.
Did they reverse the decision?

For gaming, I highly recommend a trackball mouse since it requires so little movement, and depending on the model the buttons don't require a lot of force to be pressed.
A quick google shows me that these work even on an xbox.
I would suggest a fingertip trackball, and one with the largest ball diameter you can find. The larger the ball the more accurate and less movement needed.

^ This is my daily driver, but it is better suited to someone with small hands.
https://www.amazon.com.au/KENSINGTON-K72359WW-Kensington-Wireless-Trackball/dp/B00009KH63/
^ This is the easiest to use, most comfortable for almost anyone with larger bands, and requires little force to click.
https://www.amazon.com.au/Kensington-Orbit-Trackball-Scroll-K75327WW/dp/B07YVMXLQC/
^ This is another smaller contender that may be easier on his hand, as it is more rounded. Some people need flat, some need round.
Put a washcloth under the left side of whichever one he chooses so he can adjust the tilt so his wrist won't hurt.
https://www.amazon.com.au/Elgato-Stream-Deck-Pedal-footswitches/dp/B09PRMCTGB/
^ Something like this would be good for the first little while, he can drive with the trackball and use his feet to click. There are lots of these at different price points.
For comfort, things to ease the itch and miserableness of the casts that will come. It keeps you up at night.
https://www.amazon.com.au/CastCooler-Immediate-breathable-orthopaedic-manufacturer/dp/B003XNNCV0/
^ Very cool product I wish was around when I had a cast. Seems well reviewed.
https://www.amazon.com.au/Scratcher-Cleaner-Sanitizer-Cleansing-Included/dp/B092472C4Y/
^ These to scratch itches down the cast. He should put nothing else down the cast, and don't put it so far down that you lose it. The skin under the cast will become very thin and fragile, anything put down it with a sharp edge could scratch and the warm moist environment could breed infection.
Regarding toilet time, if the bidet you got does not have a dryer function he may need to dry his booty when he's done. Many homes that have bidets everyone has their own little towel they use. He could move a stool or something in the bathroom and put a specified towel over it to sit on to dry himself.
My condolences to your friend, really glad he has a friend to help him.

This is public knowledge and has been tracked for years, if you follow an outlandish article to its source, and the source before that, you end up on one of thousands of normal sounding small town news websites that just happen to be registered to people with very Russian sounding names.
The goal is to spit out a somewhat believable lie, then wait for it to be posted about on some blog, then someone else copies it from there and posts it elsewhere, then the gossip mags pick it up and before long it is "news".

Which Lenovo laptop, if you don't mind me asking? I know there are Lenovo laptops with Linux support, but I am on a Lenovo Legion Slim 5, and I have heard there are quite a few issues that would need to be sorted.
indomara 2 months ago • 100%
I think so, yes. At least from a taste and texture standpoint, it is waaaay better. Psyllium husk (Metamucil) changes the texture of drinks and foods, causing them to congeal into a viscous gel.
Benefiber does not change the texture of the food or drink and is odourless and tasteless.
I will note however, after a quick google just now, that Metamucil was shown in a study to lower cholestrol while Benefiber did not.
For me though, it's all about what changes I can make and stick to, and something that changes texture is very hard for me to get down.

Very interesting, here in Australia it isn't a slur. An Indian friend of ours travels a lot for work, and recently told us that every time she gets a taxi to or from the airport and the driver is also Indian, they always start asking questions.
Where are you from, who is your family, etc etc. She exasperatedly said "I'm a coconut! I don't know, I just want to get where I'm going!" when describing this to us.
indomara 2 months ago • 100%
We highly recommend Benefiber for anyone. It is tasteless, doesn't change the texture of your food or drink, and can be added to almost anything.
I think many people avoid adding fiber to their diets because it requires a change in diet or a supplement that is often gross.
Edit: Here's a link. https://www.benefiber.com/fiber-supplement-products/benefiber-powder/

They definitely are like crack for a lot of people, I use a youtube front end when I can, and when it's down a browser addon to remove them.
My daughter is 18 and just a couple months ago started doing the same, after realising shorts were almost an addiction.
Another friend has admitted she cannot stop watching them but so far hasn't done anything about it.

Along with the other things posted here, it would be nice if peertube had a landing page or even if there was a "watch peertube now" button that led to a page showcasing current popular videos or something.
I clicked your link to peertube.org, then had to "Ask Sepia, our iconic cuttlefish" for a search term to get a list of videos, which after scrolling for a bit moved into lists and channels. A click of the "show more videos" button opened a new tab, and upon clicking a video to watch yet another tab opened to what seems like a fediverse instance for peertube?
For it to be a viable alternative, it needs to capture the way people watch and engage with youtube. If I am watching a video on youtube, there are suggestions for similar content below. If I go to the home page and scroll, either the most popular content will show if I am not signed in, or if I am, content related to videos I watch will be shown.
If I click to watch a video, it will open in the same window.
This is the sort of usability that will entice those new users to make the leap.

"Now when I’m thinking about all the recent times I’ve been “helping” her out financially"
This statement gives the impression that finances are not equal at all, and that you consider giving the stay at home mother of your child money to cover her expenses as "help" that deserves some sort of pat on the back.
She is a stay at home mom, that is her job. You go to work to earn the money, that's your job.
You saying that you "help her out financially" is just... weird. It's like a father saying he is "babysitting" his kids. You don't babysit your own children, you parent them because you are their father.
Edit: Apologies, I seem to have replied to the wrong person. <3

I highly recommend Sliquid for a lubricant. We have tried many others, and none compare.
https://sliquid.com/shop/sliquid-naturals/h2o-sliquid-naturals/
^ This is the water based, which is nice for those that prefer it
https://sliquid.com/shop/sliquid-naturals/silk-sliquid-naturals/
^ This is the hybrid lubricant, our holy grail. It has a little silicone in it, which keeps it from drying out and getting gummy, while still feeling natural and not leaving us with a greasy clean up.
The Sliquid Silk hybrid lube was also tested and is silicone toy safe. We have personally tested it with every toy we have, including Bad Dragon soft and medium, leaving it on the test pucks for a few days with no change in the material.
Also here is a lovely list of lubes tested for ph and osmolality:

Simply select Runelite from the drop down menu in the official launcher.
Using Firefox on Win10 pc, the usual add ons. Errors when upvoting, when accessing posts from inbox, when expanding comment trees. Errors repeatable until page loads either by refreshing or pressing back. Once the page has loaded without an error everything seems to work fine, up and down votes, expanding comment trees, etc all work even after navigating away from post and returning. Happy to provide any other information that helps diagnose things. Thank you. I really like wefwef!
Why YSK: It makes viewing images fast and easy, with no clicks. I got used to this on the site that shall not be named, sometimes I don't want to open the whole image or post. With the addon if I hover over the image button that would expand the image, it will show the image full size for as long as I hover over it, no clicking needed, this works with gifs as well.
