About tree fiddy
If another user hasn’t gone to a community yet there’s no way to browse to it from the app. I runa personal instance so the only way to view a new community is to go to my browser, log in to the instance, then manually browse to the new community by adding it to the end of my domain. It would be nice to do this from the search or by typing it in to browse manually.

I’ve also got an iPhone 12 Pro that I’ve had since release. Battery capacity is at 88%. I plan on getting a 15 Pro Max later this year. I’m pretty sure this is the longest I’ve kept a phone, I usually upgrade every two years.

Same for me. And when I try to manually go to a community on another instance I get this message:
Error! There was an error on the server. Try refreshing your browser. If that doesn't work, come back at a later time. If the problem persists, you can seek help in the Lemmy support community or Lemmy Matrix room.
The server returned this error: couldnt_find_community. This may be useful for admins and developers to diagnose and fix the error

To be a good shill on Reddit you have to use the "Look at this cool thing my girlfriend made" post formula and then wait for the replies asking where to buy it.

I don’t think it’s losing its luster, it’s just plateauing. There are plenty of podcasts out there that are still listened to regularly.

Of course, how else will they pay for storage of your data? This part already started with OneDrive. Now you'll buy a new laptop for $100, the thinnest laptop you've ever seen, it will just come with a 128GB m.1 drive soldered to the board, and you'll run (and save) everything from Microsoft's servers.

I’m many countries, it’s considered rude to ask for tap water when you are out to eat. You’ll get a bottle of water. At home, though, most people just drink filtered water.

What kind of grip is that on that pencil?

I’m not actually sure if this is a real picture or something that someone made in an AI art generator. And that’s scary.

The only way I've been able to do it is have them comment on a post in your community, then click the three dots next to their comment. There's an option to make them an Admin.

There's two Lemmy apps in TestFlight right now:
Both are still very beta, but let you log in, vote, and comment.

I created a feature request on GitHub https://github.com/buresdv/Mlem/issues/78

I think that’s only because the app has updated since you’ve last opened it. If you are seeing a “what’s new” pop up before you are prompted to log in that means the dev has pushed a new update to TestFlight since you last used it.

People aren't talking about being in VR all the time, they are talking about Augmented Reality. This isn't the metaverse, it's bring the digital experience into our normal reality to enhance every day life.

The McD's near me never has orange juice. Last time I got breakfast there they told me that corporate wasn't shipping them enough to keep up with demand.

I'm on lemmy.ml and this happens on the All feed sorted by New. It looks like it's not a problem on the Subscribed feed or All sorted any other way. I'm on iPhone 12 Pro with iOS 16 Beta.

No, same thing is happening. I get the first two stickied posts on lemmy.ml then 8 posts and it starts repeating the posts starting with the stickied ones.

Does this update include a fix for feeds just loading the same content over and over?

We used flairs on the Lockpicking sub as awards as people progressed through different levels of locksport. I'm dreading having to give thousands of those out again here if user flairs are a thing.
See the Rules on the right side, most importantly pay attention to Rule 2. We are a hobby **locksport** community and do not assist with personal or commercial locksmith needs. You are welcome to ask questions about picking locks that aren't in use, about lockpick tools, or post anything else locksport related. Our Discord community is very active and many pickers are there to help you with your specific locks or just to chat, you can join here: https://discord.gg/lockpicking
