I guess people who have the habit of harassing other people on social media often have multiple accounts. The feeling of safety when blocking such an account is certainly real but if someone really wants to stalk you he can. Instagram tries to solve this problem by having the option 'block this and all associated accounts'.

I think that’s inevitable this time. I could imagine they consider a whole new community event this year because of potential protests.

As I like the name Memmy I understand your thoughts.
Memmy is a inviting, friendly, cute name. For a concept like the fediverse which can be intimidating for casual users I find that a good thing. I still dislike the name 'Mastodon’ because it seems heavy and complicated to me.
In terms of discoverability you can always consider naming it
APPNAME - Fediverse client for Lemmy, Kbin, Mastodon

I don’t mean cutting edge science. But a basic understanding of physics, mathematics, biology and chemistry.
You can’t understand global warming without physics and mathematics.
You can’t understand a pandemic without biology and mathematics.
And so on

Resolution and color reproduction is still unmatched. Plus there are a lot of things happening in the analog domain that our eyes notice as beautiful.
Same thing is true for analog vs digital music production btw

Using memmy at the moment. It’s the most advanced app right now. Wefwef is impressive as it resembles Apollo in an web app but at the end I prefer having a native app for daily use.
