I don't use it much now but I am a big fan of audacity. It helped me to create some great mixed tracks for dances, mime, and other programs in school.

How am I supposed to message people when the only messaging app they use is whatsapp and facebook messenger (which I don't use)?

I guess the only easy alternative is to use SMS and email since everyone use it. But it is not safe.

I am always open to alternatives like Signal, Element,etc. But no one use them. I am not going to force people to use a messaging app.

Yes piped is good. I use it too. But i dont want to get notifications. I get a notification that someone has commented and when I look its this bot. So kind of annyoing.

A lot of schools and colleges in Kerala (Indian State) use Ubuntu. Kids are taught how to use software like GIMP and Audacity in schools. It has become part of the syllabus in public schools.
