I did not know it was an MST3K episode! Might have to dare "watching" this "movie" again for it

I love terrible movies and have seen all sorts, but for my money the absolute worst I have seen is Boggy Creek II: And the Legend Continues. Absolutely nothing happens for the entire duration of the film until the last 5 minutes. The DVD I had claimed there was a "terrifying incident at the public lake", but it's just someone falling off a jetski and getting back on it.

I think it might be something up with specifically mtgzone.com? I've made comments in !legacy@mtgzone.com, but I don't see them unless I specifically come through my "home" instance of lemmy.ml? Unless I'm misunderstanding?

I became really disheartened when I saw people earnestly engaging in obvious bot reposts, or how effective the bot strategy of taking one response and copying it as a reply to another worked - the discussion was so mundane that sometimes you wouldn't even realise.

While it doesn't exactly answer your question, Legacy Ninjas is a powerful and very cool deck that typically only runs one Underground Sea as it's only RL card. While not optimal of course, you could probably swap it for a Watery Grave.

The set definitely seems designed so that the cards they think might be good can be reprinted without LotR skins later. Stern Scolding could have been called "Fool of a Took!" or something, but they didn't. I definitely imagine it gets a normal print someday.

I'm splitting a set booster box with a friend of mine who's a little into Magic and a lot into LotR. The prices are whack and while I normally go out of my way to support an LGS, the price on Axiom was about double that of Amazon. I'm just hoping for some Modern-playable stuff

I'm going to try and get to my hometown to see friends and family, but with the rail strikes who knows?
