TIL: Liberals don't care about other people.

Today I learned liberals don't care about others. They don't care about their suffering, and they'll fight to keep the oppressive system running because they want to stay in their comfort. I asked my cousin, "if you can have anything you want with the snap of your fingers, what would you have?" She replied, money, tons of money. Total comfort, and no worries. I replied, super human abilities and an adventurous life. I explained to her that having tons of money and total comfort eventually gets boring because when you finish accomplishing all the things you can accomplish with money, it's gonna get boring. Then she starts to go on her anti-revolution rant and how she doesn't know what to do for change and can't find herself doing anything to support any revolution. She talks about how there's no point in doing a revolution cause even if it succeeds, you're gonna die anyways. She proceeded to explain that she wants tons of money because it fixes all problems in her life. I told her, "It fixes all of the problems in the capitalist system, not all of your problems revolve around the capitalist system." I told her, "what if the problems you have isn't fixable by money because of the system you live under? Reform isn't gonna help your motivation for black and LGBTQ rights." She says, "move to another country." Then I asked her, "what if those problems persist in other capitalist countries?" she replied with the same answer. I asked her, "what if your personality changes and your interests change, and all of a sudden you don't fit the status quo?" She says "I'm already not fit to the status quo, I'm black, I'm LGBTQ, and I'm super liberal!" Then I had to explain to her what liberalism is, and that progressive liberalism is time wasting. It's just reform reform reform until all of it gets reversed by your enemy some day. I also ask her, "why not try to change the system so you're apart of this 'status quo?" Then she replies "there's nothing I can do about it." She then does the "How do you not like capitalism if you live in it?" argument. In the conversation, I also ask her, "what about the third world countries that are taken over by capitalism?" She's like "What that got to do with me? I'm not gonna care about a country that does stupid stuff with the money given to them!" She even had the audacity to say "I'll have to kill you if you throw a revolution. I'll be sending a hitman for you. Because I don't want someone to ruin the world I'm in." People like this, there's no coming back for them. Comrades, what would you do with someone like this? Do we shape a new system that keeps them from complaining and continue living their 'comfortable' lives? I always wonder about people like this.

It isn't surprising that they would do this but I'm just disgusted by capitalism. I am partly surprised that I see this happening before my own two eyes. Capitalism and life just can't coexist for everyone. It sucks, and I hate that some people defend it. Reminds me of that fable with the snake and the man.

Thank you for the information. I notice crows circling all the time and always wondered why. Common superstition claims that death is coming when crows are circling, but simply they are coming together.

They way they were circling was strange though. It wasn't like the usual way they circle each other...

I figured out why the US has been overreacting over the Chinese Balloon...

On that very same day, there was a train that carried tons of chemicals (mostly PVC) riding through Ohio. It exploded in East Palestine, unleashing the dangerous chemicals in the atmosphere. While The US was overreacting over the balloon, the chemicals were contaminating the air and waters. The chemicals were killing people's chickens, dogs, cats, and other animals. The crows were circling and flying about in a strange motion as if they were drugged. The fish that flourished now lifelessly float along the river. If the chemicals are getting to the animals, it's getting to the people too. People who lived there experienced lung issues, breathing difficulties, and more. The PVC chemicals are causing higher risks of cancer. People are still not able to live in their homes due to the nauseating air. Those who come back are faced with dangerous conditions. Officials however, (including the FDA) have told everyone that the air is **completely safe** and the water is **drinkable.** People who drank the water described it as "smelling and tasting like chlorine." So basically the officials were lying and trying to sweep it under the rug. All while this was happening, you see the media overreacting over the balloon. And they pulled another stunt with Canada again this week. Meanwhile, Norfolk Southern lobbied to ease federal regulations and cut costs on the train. Which makes me question... What are we living for? With the capitalist powers having it's grip on the world, we are living to be slaves and to fill the wealthy man's pockets while our lives are constantly in danger. We are just pawns in their game of wealth, power and fame. Tragedies are swept under the rug until one day there's a large tragedy, and then there's a compromise from those wealthy pigs that just isn't enough. Then the cycle starts all over again. In America, we are going backwards. At this point, we are entering back to the Gilded Age. Or maybe we're already in it? Or never got out of it?

    Liberal propaganda in school

I'm so tired of my US History class. We're approaching WW1, and my teacher is talking about communism. Firstly, he's a hardcore liberal, but oh my goodness for him to teach AP, he doesn't even SOUND like he knows what he's talking about. His articulation and the way he talks, along with his word choice just shows he doesn't know shit about communism. Today he was talking about communism and I told him "communism is a moneyless, stateless, classless society." Then he said "no, communism is where EVERYTHING is equal." Then I proceeded to tell him that there's different types of communist ideologies apart from the one he's talking about, such as Anarcho-communism who believe that "true" communism is accomplished by dictatorship of the proletariat, however without a class and state. He ignored that then went back to his flawed point where communism is where "everything is equal" and that the "government controls everything, not a market." Then he proceeded to ask the class "What if I graded you all like a communist? Everyone in here would have a B." And everyone was like "OH NO NO NO!!" It's just so ugh... He sounds so dumb it pisses me off, and the students just gobble that bullshit up, which pisses me off even more.

I honestly feel like the odd one out.

I'm 17F, one year away from being kicked out of my parent's house. As soon as I'm 18 they're forcing me to go to a 4 year college. As of now I'm regretting my life decisions. My backup plan is to purse electrical engineering, but I don't have any experience behind me. All the classes I've taken in high school don't even count towards it. Also, there is no engineering STEM programs at my school either. My parents ridicule me on how I'm not doing anything in life. I don't participate in academic stuff. I have no extra curriculars, no sports, no nothing. Yeah, I guess there's something wrong with that. I mean all I do is go home, school work, watch anime, or practice making music. From 3 to 9 P.M is all the free time I have. And at this point, I don't really focus on school anyone. I'm running behind on assignments and haven't done much of them since second semester started. Firstly, I don't really wanna go to college. It's a big scam in the US, and I don't have any money to move to another country and try to get an education there. It's like hell in the US. If you're poor, you're most likely stuck there for a very long time. I don't wanna pursue a skill or a trade, I don't want a white collar job nor desire to be wealthy. I actually plan on becoming a digital nomad that travels to many places. I don't want to settle in one place. The thought of being in an office sitting on my ass all day is dreadful, and the thought of working in the same building until retirement is dreadful. I don't wanna work the usual 9 to 5 in the same boring office building, and I don't wanna wait until I get those two weeks off a year or less. I *also* don't want to make traveling a career, because I hate making a "job" out of something fun. All I wanna do is have fun. I hate the word "work." I like to focus on something worthwhile, not help produce something I don't even have control over so my boss can fill their pockets. Yeah I'll be doing that with remote work, but the only reason I want to do remote work is to have more free time. Oh well! Why don't I suck it up? Why don't I accept this life? Well I don't want to. I don't want to be someone I'm not. I don't want to live a lie. I don't ask for much, I just want to be free, that's all. This world is so fucking large, why not explore it? It's an open world!

This might be off topic, and I don't mean to be that American that wants to victimize themselves, but it really sucks talking to some communists and they talk a ton of shit about us ML-Americans. Like why the hell does me being an American give them the right to shit on me? In fact, I'm an African American, but that's just some random fact. I know the bullshit in capitalism, I know the bullshit system, I know the reason why the bad Americans are the way they are IS because of the system. And I think that an American breaking out of the system and becoming an ML is pretty great. Yeah there are some ML Americans that say reactionary shit, but it should be easy to distinguish them from unproblematic ML Americans. But oh, to some communists even communist Americans are shit. It's like some superiority complex they have.

Sorry I had to rant :( I'm not trying to generalize. I'm only applying this to those who say terrible shit about ML Americans. Like yeah I understand feeling a type of way because ML-Americans live in one of the most imperialist countries in the world, but hey, I'm not the one bombing a 3rd world country, and I'm not the one ignoring it and justifying it. Yeah I suck at geography, and yeah I say dumb shit sometimes, but that's the time to teach or correct me instead of insulting me. I always try to avoid the "communists" that argue in bad faith and insult others based on where they're from. It's seriously annoying.

This was really a sweet and meaningful message. It was so sweet I had to take a little break, I couldn't handle the amount of love you poured into this. I always thought there was something wrong with me, but really it's the rough side of being set free from a system that keeps us in chains. I feel lost, like I have nowhere to go, but I assume that's the good side of things. Escaping the illusions of the capitalist system is like escaping an abusive person. I feel lost after, but then there are good days to come with no temptation to turn back. Thank you comrade, this message really warmed my heart.

I've noticed this problem is very systemic. I wondered if my passions were real in the first place... I have lately been gathering a spark for lethal weapons and learning about them. Luckily I can do it in my free time, or society will think I'm a strange person who wants to make the world burn, when literally I wanna study these mechanisms.

I feel no hope for my life now that all my passions have died.

Ever since I've became a Marxist, I've been seeing the dark sides of liberalism, capitalism, etc. Now, all my passions and the capitalist/liberal desires that fueled them have died. I wanted to be a musician and become rich and famous, now that's an unrealistic kid story. I wanted to become a writer and spread my works to millions, not anymore. I wanted to do game development, but that's gone now. I wanted to become a legislator as a kid and spread good for society, proposing laws that would help the younger generation, but the US government is so fucking corrupt. I wanted to become an MMA fighter, but the industry in that is rigged. I wanted to become a business owner, and even learned the dark things needed to do to become "successful." But the thought of fucking over vulnerable people for personal gain makes me sick to my stomach. I've recently found a major I could study in college for - Electrical engineering. But really I don't feel the slightest interested in that either. I had a quick blip of interest and then it died. Every industry is so rigged, and people like me won't survive in it. I'm not a fake it till you make it type person. I'm never favored by anyone, not popular in any type of circle. I'm cold and concrete, I can't put on masks. And even the thought of manipulating people is tiring as hell. I'd rather be real and truthful, least bit of effort. I have no money to travel to other countries where music might make me successful, and my passions for everything have died. I hate the word "hard work." I like work that's worthwhile and enjoyable, something I would spend hours on. But that doesn't exist in the US. I seriously feel like a wandering soul. The only thing that's keeping me alive is the desire to travel the world. If I didn't have that motive, I probably would have offed myself a long time ago. I feel like my life is nothing, and I am nothing. I honestly don't know anymore. I might become a thief, stalking rich people's social medias then stealing from them. Or becoming a mercenary. Kid's fantasy, I know. I might have to face the disgusting truth and join the military to get the rest of my basic fucking human rights. Housing, money, college, I don't know. I feel like I'm going no where.

    Reducing instant gratification?

I noticed that in western culture most people are into instant gratification. In capitalist cultures entertainment takes up most of an average person's day. Social media, extensive amounts on the internet, prolonged hours of videogames, etc. I've learned about a few things that would cut down on this, such as mostly listening to nature sounds and ambience rather than stimulating music, going outside and connecting to nature, and deleting social media. What other tips and advice would help reduce instant gratification? Also, what cultures aren't dominated by instant gratification? How is there way of life, and what sources could bring more information about them?

Romance, love, and sex from a non-western perspective?

Recently I've been looking into this subject and found a few answers on the subject of romance, love, and sex in western cultures. It seems that these subjects are problematic when paired with Western cultures, especially with the fact that the elite exploit these and shape it into a way to benefit themselves. Over-sexualization, brainwashing children, sexism, banning abortion, homophobia and sexualization of the LGBTQ+, and other things. It has caused many problems that have spread to countries that aren't in the west, and goes against a human's nature and rights. In order to be cleansed from the poisonous western culture, from a communist perspective, what would be a more suitable way to look at these three topics?

    American Romanticism and Sexualization...

I noticed that living in American culture is quite strange. Almost everything is about sex and "love." Everything is sexualized including the LGBTQ+. Thoughts on this? Also as someone who was raised in America, I'm still trying to shake off the rest of the side effects from this culture, such as porn addiction and feeling lost for not having a partner. I learned to listen to music that doesn't include sexual stuff (my favorite is jazz lol.) However everywhere else no matter where I go there is sexual stuff, even included in ads lol.

If the U.S collapsed and the USSA was established, what would happen next?

EDIT: I made this post shorter because the questions made it quite confusing and didn't made any sense when re-reading them. One question that was on my mind is that what would happen to U.S History if the US collapsed? If the new country USSA was established, would the history of the U.S not matter anymore? Such as the start of the country, glorified figures like George Washington and Thomas Jefferson. Would they be forgotten eventually? What would happen to their trillions of debt? What ties would you cut, and who would you ally the USSA with next? China? What countries would you have relations with? Who would you do trade with? What are your efforts to make the USSA a strong country and incapable of being attacked by capitalist imperialists? Say if the USSA was right on their feet and able to keep themselves stable, would you wanna spread this "stableness" to other countries? Personally my answer to this question is to not spread socialist ideals into other countries without wanted permission. There have been many countries that tried socialist ideals but were stopped by imperialists. I'm sure they will continue their efforts once the imperialist U.S is gone. What are your suggestions? I would love to hear your thoughts! Please try to answer every question :)) It's okay if you don't

I sure hope the victims sue them and will be heard. The film was absolutely disgusting, they also added fictional things in there that never happened.

Exactly. The poor victims in the 3rd world countries are capable of contributing to society just as fine as everyone else. But oh "bad childhood" and "bad parents" and blah blah blah is a concern when it comes to white people who got away with murder due to the cop's incompetence. Lives would have been spared if the cops did their job. Oh well, we all know that America is a failed country. Not sure how it's still running, it was shit from the start.

I do find it weird that people wanna research serial killers when it comes to psychology. It's never someone with dementia, schizophrenia, depression or someone with anxiety.

My goodness... I didn't even know the Chris Dorner case happened, thank you for shining light on it. Man, Dorner was wrongfully treated. I wonder why no one is talking about this?

I agree with you on the fact that it's a film sexualizing and fetishizing serial killers. Especially the scenes where Dahmer laid with his dead victims. They filmed it in a way where it was a sensual porn scene, and never depicted him in a disgusting way.

You are not weird at all, comrade. I noticed that too, and in fact, the US has the highest number of serial killers (over 3,000.) I know a few people who love watching the documentaries, movies, series, interviews etc. to see how "serial killers" think. When really all it takes is a study on a serial killer's brain to figure out what's most likely causing them to be this way. However still, Americans get a thrill of watching it, which is possibly what leads to so much violence in the US. A lot of Americans love to talk about how to get away with murder. It's strange how they are interested in watching serial killers do the action, hear about the terrible things they did. As an excuse they always say "I love to see why they think that way."

I literally saw on Reddit that a person was thinking of becoming a serial killer. It's unbelievable!

I noticed that all these docs and movies sympathize with the serial killer. The reason for their actions is always "bad childhood, bad parents blah blah blah." I know a lot of people who had worse childhoods than his and they aren't eating humans and masturbating over them. "My Friend Dahmer" was mostly about sympathizing with him and making his childhood seem worse than it was, and if I can recall, even his mother claimed that Dahmer didn't know what he was doing, despite him blatantly admitting it in interviews.

American serial killer movies, series, etc, do a terrible job with letting viewers learn what "goes on in the serial killer mind's." The viewers in the end always come to the conclusion that "he had a bad childhood, he didn't know what he was doing, his parents were abusive to him." Dude there are children in third world countries seeing their families get bombed and killed by imperialists, but are they shooting up schools? Nope, because they're too busy thinking of how they will survive the day.

I also found out that the directors never asked the victim's families input on the series and did all of it without their permission. The woman who (rightfully) lashed out at Dahmer spoke out against the series and didn't like how the actor displayed her emotions accurately without her permission.

If there were to be a successful revolution and overthrow of a fascist country, what rules and regulations would be instantly set down?

Firstly, I would put extreme harsh rules and regulations on the police system, heck, there might be something else that will ACTUALLY protect the people. When I watched the Dahmer series, I realized how useless the US police is. A 14 year old boy escaped Dahmer begging for help and the police literally RETURNED the boy back to Dahmer. Fucking sickening and really angered me. Also here's a list of things I would imply as soon as revolution happens. ::: spoiler list 1. Minority rights, reparations, and destroying US disgusting army bases in other people's countries. 2. LGBTQ+ and trans rights. (Basically human rights lol) 3. 100% abortion rights, and free healthcare for all 4. Abolishing of the police system. 5. Removal of liberal media sources. 6. Elimination of the 1%, and the establishment of dictatorship of the proletariat. 7. Intense funding on education, infrastructure, green energy, and more. Also making sure that the country doesn't fully rely on electricity and technology just in case we get our grid destroyed and can't run efficiently. 8. lol fuck that US debt, never heard of it, in fact, name and flag will be changed. 9. Farms are gonna stop being on a big business leash. Chickens will no longer be doped up with probiotics and antibiotics and all that horseshit. (Yes US farm some animals are forced to eat shit as a food source.) 10. Halal meat, and will make big changes to the food industry. No more useless chemicals no one can pronounce in fucking potato chips. 11. And more! ::: Please give your opinions on this list, and share your thoughts on what you would change after a successful revolution.

I'm African American, a Nigerian descent. I'm planning on learning the Nigerian languages to connect more to my roots. It's such a shame colonizers erased our history and tried to whitewash us completely. Luckily there's the internet that can help us get back on track. I never knew the Nigerian languages until I looked them up.

What were the side effects you experienced when you were a liberal?

Hello, baby Marxist here! Personally mine was reading. When I was a liberal I loathed reading and found it hard to even read a short article. I rarely researched everything I heard, and as a teenager, I was like every other liberal, getting my news off social media. Now I make sure to research everything, however, getting into theory is a bit hard. Most of the information I learned about communism was through fellow comrades, because like before, I got my information from other people's comments. Currently I'm restoring my motivation for reading by starting small. Reading long comments from comrades helped a lot. I've now moved on to reading information from leftist sources without effort, and I'm starting on reading the communist manifesto. Enough about me, what were your side effects?

Reddit doesn't want anything but for us to be wiped from existence. They'll do anything in order to get rid of the idea of communism, and to support the brainwashing of the masses into being selfish pricks who only care about money. They already teach children that this world is just a "cold world where every man is for himself" but it's just not true at all, and it's not even human nature.

I hear it quite a lot unfortunately. "the Mexicans are taking all our jobs!!!" when literally it's the CEOs hiring them over Americans because they know the immigrants will work a lot more for less money. It's ridiculous how much westerners blame the god damn victim. They're brainwashed with this mindset that you "always look up to the superiors and spit on the ones below them" and they brainwash the "inferiors" into thinking they're superior as well, and that they'll be "up next." Now that I think about it, there's gotta be some psychological argument that will click in every single brainwashed capitalist's head and make them realize the position they're in and how much they're being fucked over.

    Thoughts on Electronic Engineering? (STEM)

Correct me if I'm wrong but Electronic Engineering is part of STEM. I keep hearing that STEM is one of the best fields to be in if you're looking for a comfortable life. I'm gonna be forced into college soon, and I'm wondering of a good degree to get while I'm there, and what scholarships to be searching for. Originally I want to do audio engineering, but I heard that electronic engineering would be suitable since it's in demand. What are your thoughts on this? What things to look out on for STEM and what truths do you have about STEM? Is all of this even worth it?

Making a okay/decent living without college?

In today's world, especially in the US, we're told that we need to go to college and get an education in order to have a decent living. But nowadays it's not so easy, and it's only boomers telling us how easy it was. College is causing many students to get in debt so early in their life. I'm in the most liberal classes...

It's a teenage communists worst nightmare. Here are my classes AP US History Prep Journaling 201-202 Accounting I Chemistry I (want to change to biology 2) AP US History Algebra 2 Journaling (Idk what's to be filled in here, hopefully different) Honors English 3 (Very liberal "independent/moderate" teacher.) My classes are full of liberals. I cannot stand it, literally. They're deep in capitalism too. One of the assistant principals came in to talk to us about stocks... I mean, he just randomly bust in there. My journaling teacher thinks the political spectrum is only "conservative and liberal." He's on the right side of conservative. And you know US History has bullshit. The English 3 teacher is mostly red but he claims to be independent. He loves to talk about his liberal beliefs. He's like "Why can't they elect a good president for once!!! The only one I thought was good was McCain!!" Oh... It's just a mess... I thought about it later on in the day... Why am I taking these hard classes if I'm not staying in college? I'm gonna get a trade job, no matter how hard the work is. Anything but somewhere hurting my brain. I can ignore the liberal bullshit but man it's the people... And we have to have discussions, oh god... Besides, I'm not going to a top college, so no need to be taking all these hard classes and doing all this work. I'm only staying for maybe two years. I just don't know at the moment honestly... I don't wanna go to college, but I wanna use it as a way to be free, but if I leave mid-term I wanna be able to leave without any liabilities.

How do you get rid of a hopeless crush on someone?

I've had a crush on a girl for months now. I don't know why. I just saw her out of no where and thought, "she's really pretty." Now I notice her more than anyone else!! Help!! I don't want any crushes because I have important things to focus on, but I can't help but think about her. I find myself fantasizing about hanging out with her and had many dreams about her. And the fact that we made eye contact quite a lot and her appearing out of no where in school did not help at all!!! 😭😭😭 I've tried not thinking about her, avoid seeing her, pretending I hate her, pretending she hates me, and even MANIFESTING my feelings to go away. (Which worked for three days 😥) I even tried looking at her more to **desensitize** myself!! Wanna know what made my feelings come back? The freaking eye contact!! As a loner, any attractive person giving me eye contact makes my heart jump. Especially her!!! And it's really hard because love songs make me think about her 😭😭 Yeah yeah I know I should talk to her... but it's hard to bring myself to :(( There's so many issues. I'm introverted, and I would break down trying to talk to her. Her friends are not someone I would hang around, they kind of give toxic vibes, and I noticed myself being attracted to toxic type of girls, and it happened many times before. Maybe it's because I come from a toxic household? I don't know :( Anyways TL;DR I have a hopeless crush on someone, don't want the feelings because I have more important things to tend to, but these feelings are getting in the way of my thinking and I just think I don't need those feelings!! Help please 😥 I know I can't run from feelings, I wish I could 😔 One day I think I'm close to the exit, and then boom, the exit pulls further away from me :(
