I do have a pair of Bluetooth headphones and I use them from time to time. I tend to revert to my wired m50x pretty often just out of personal preference

How is he not financially stable? Does he work a low wage, spend beyond his means, etc? Id base my decision off of that. If he's making decent money but spending it all maybe I'd help with building a budget and evaluating expenses to see where all the money is going. If a low age maybe helping update his resume and looking for a better paying job that matches his skillsets

I still have a few phone numbers fully memorized and type them out when calling those specific people. More as an exercise to myself. Same thing with driving. I try not to use gps maps if Im going anywhere even when it's multiple states away

In 2018 I registered for an instance running diaspora*. At the time it felt early but federation was certainly the future. I deleted all socials except Reddit. Now with reddit doing its thing and the influx of new users I feel like federation is a better option. I think I'll delete my reddit account fairly soon. However I might not use lemmy or kbin often as it's also a good time to start easing of social media all together

I know there is a guy on the Thinkpad subreddit whose working on building a thinkpad keyboard into a framework which might help but i think if someone figures out how to put the fw motherboard into thinkpad chassis that might be the answer

Wayland. Only thing currently bothering me about it is the login screen uses x and my cursor size on x isn't scaling right so only on login I have a huge cursor size. Barely enough of an issue for me to go in and correct it

What does everyone use for patching? Our environment uses BigFix, PDQ, and WSUS

Currently I use Plex and plexamp on my phone but it's not that great. I used to use Subsonic with dsub on my phone and that was awesome for both podcasts and music. Only issue was podcast watch status didn't sync and now it's no longer being maintained. Might try out airsonic and see if it works the same

I had this issue as well for a community i made in another instance. If no one from your instance has looked at it before it won't sync. to force the check in the search use !community@website.url The bang before forces the check and should help find it
