Why is a YouTube video being posted in an ask thread? You have already provided an answer to your question in the form of a video. This isn't answerlemmy, and it isn't you providing any of your personal thoughts in the context of the question.

Do the rom hack right.
- Toll roads everywhere. Paid each time you enter.
- Pokemart is a monopoly and gouges you.
- Arceusism is the state religion and others are barely tolerated.
- Gyms are privatized and cost per attempt.
- Pokemon sweatshops.
- PC access is a freemiun model where you get the first 5 for free, but beyond that you have to pay for Pokestorage+ and pay monthly. Also pokes come out hating you so pretty sure they getting abused. And occasionally pokes get lost.

4chan is a wholly different type of site. It's an image board, not about link sharing. Use of screen names is discouraged.
Also why would you go to a site labelled the asshole of the Internet if you're looking for actual discussion and conversation. If you want porn or want nazi-adjacent discussion or great wallpapers, sure, go there.

Look up the piece by pbs and by John Oliver. They also do a cocoa bean tracking system so they know where the beans are coming from. This is importa t to know that the beans are coming from the good farms and not from the bad ones. All that being said, they say they can't say slavery free due to how bad it is in that area. They can't guarantee that.
I think for me it's as simple as - do I go with the brand that seems to be doing something about it? Or go with the brand that misses it's own targets and is satisfied with the horrible status quo

You can get jelly that's a lot less sugar than the cheap stuff. As for kids - I'm a firm believer in letting kids butch and moan for a few days and after that they get used to it and eat it. Just take the time investment to save yourself some hassle later on. Or tell them to make their own.

That's a purposeful choice to show that not everyone gets an equal piece. Some start out with a giant piece and others get just a tiny one.

- Muffins/Swiss rolls - depends on how much it is but I get it being a quick comfort food. However, check if there's a bakery of some kind (including
Chinese / Latino bakeries) near you. It's nearly as cheap or cheaper and much fresher. Good bread there too. - Pasta sauce: my wife actually just makes a Alfredo sauce from scratch and it seems to be just a bit more complicated than Mac and cheese sauce. Flour, milk, and cheese. Probably a lot more cost effective.
- Instead of a red tomato sauce I would buy diced tomatoes ( or those fire riasted ones) and dump them over noodles. It tastes better than the bottled red sauce.
- Mac and cheese: see above - but also, if you're going to get it, get the box. The single serve things are worse than the generic box Mac.
-froze spinach is great. Try throwing that in whatever you're cooking. Never goes bad. Already bite sized.
-Also, you gotta report that grocery store. Cats are friends not food.

Put your entire savings in. Then open up a few credit cards and take out as much cash of them as possible. Put it all into one stock. Then be confident that you're smarter than everyone else and will sell at just the right moment, and much smarter than the people shorting the stock.

However, you've got to remember that you're the boss man. You have to delegate.
You shouldn't be clearing spam. You have people for that.
I spend time doing a bunch of reports to you on pill pushers and spam links. I could just as easily be spending my time banning those usernames, resulting in faster responses and better experience for everyone.
I think most people on the site would say your time is spent on doing admin stuff. Not mod spam stuff.

On the first option: I wasn't suggesting all of that. The Ethernet seems to be able to run video signal and USB signal - maybe on one cable and maybe on 2 cables. So you're just talking about a cat6 to HDMI/USB adapters and a monitor and a USB hub/ keyboard/ mouse in the shop, and a regular PC and adapters in the office. 500 feet of burial rated cat6 is around $160.
I was just offering another potential solution - no need to get snarky. If you need the power on your device, or you don't want to fuck around with transferring files back and forth, that seems like a better option. But like I said initially - I haven't done this - I just know that others have and it might be worth checking out.

Also it's a great way to check out disparities in education. The low income school is asking for erasers and pencils and carpets for kids to sit on, and the rich school is asking to buy iPads to replace the old iPads.

Another option is to just have a big ass cable for HDMI and USB and have the actual computer hosted somewhere less dusty, like a office. Linus tech tips did a few videos talking about sending the computer signals from a gaming room out to a server rack and back. That could be the cheapest and most flexible option.
Magical accidents. Potions. Demon summoning accidents. Hitman already ventures into the absurd and this would just be one more step.
San Francisco supervisors want answers from the police with traffic citations plummeting and pedestrian fatalities on the rise.
Steps: 1. Schedule races in only Trump counties 2. Heavily publicize it via monster truck style ads 3. Have people asking and recording mildly leading questions about gender and sexuality to audiences waiting to get in. 4. At halfway through the race, inform audience that all drivers are current/former contestants on Ru Paul's drag race 5. Profit off of video compilation of rednecks questioning their sexuality
I might not know what I'm talking about, but if they were cached on my browser I'd see them load instantly after loading once, right? But they take a bit to load each time when viewed on opera mobile. Seems like a good way to reduce server costs?
Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell told reporters that he’s “fine,” after freezing during a news conference on Wednesday.
I had a tire that needed air in my tire, so I went to the gas station with my EV and got some in there. That's great for now, but what happens in several years when the number of Gas stations declines? Gas stations have been great resources for air, bathrooms, and snacks on road trips. What is going to replace it?
With Surveillance Station, you can set up push notifications to send an email, text, or notification on mobile via DS Cam app. I get the email service - you're authenticating yourself as the email account holder and sending an email. Do images transmit to Synology controlled servers before getting to your email inbox? With push notifications to DS Cam, the same question. Are any images transmitted to any other servers before arriving on my phone? These may be straightforward - but I was burned on the Eufy scandal and don't want a similar situation here.
Apologies if I'm off base here, but I have two issues I'm trying to solve and unsure where I should start - whether these are two separate issues to solve or if I should get something that can do both. Needs: 1. backup and safely store photos and videos from Android phones (in a raid array so it's redundant storage). 2. monitor a set of 2 exterior cameras and a) throw a notification onto a phone when there's movement b) without giving footage or thumbnails to an external server. About me: I'm tech literate enough to Google things and copy/paste or troubleshoot based on what worked for others, but I'd like to avoid having to learn to code or run command lines. I have young kids and don't really want to have to spend a whole lot of time on this to get it to work or walk my spouse through how to use it. Options considered: 1a) a Synology product seems like the lowest barrier to entry, but the risk seems to be less ability to fix and potentially more risk of unrecoverable data (GN did videos about this). 1b) multiple hard drives on a PC - works but would suck if my PC fries. 1c) multiple external drives - seems wonky and easier for something to fail. 1d) all of the above and hope it somehow works. 2a) Eufy looked like a good option (local storage and push notifications), until the recent scandal. I am not interested in having pics of little girls on a server somewhere, even if it is only outside pictures. 2b) a wired camera connection - however I'm not going to know if anyone is doing something sketchy unless I know to review the footage. 2c) Synology has an option - however there are the issues mentioned above and I'd also need to drop $400 for the cameras, $200 for the station, and a couple hundred for the drives. 2d) make my own mini comp - however more likely for wonky stuff and higher power draw over the long term. Any suggestions on where to go from here?
I need to either replace my office chair or replace it's wheels - they're killing my wood floors when the chair moves off the mat. Amazon is now an abyss of sponsored listings and fake reviews and algorithms - so I'm unable to get good feedback on a solution. I've heard that the skateboard style replacements are good - but too rolly, leading to unwanted movement. Any suggestions on replacements that have worked for you?
