I've never seen a player tear up like that. Generally the broadcast cuts away. Brutal to watch. Maybe they can hook him up with Aaron Rodgers doctor with that speedy Achilles recovery.

Yeah must be. Surprising though cause I've had problems with streaming on different firesticks in different houses. Oh well, the rest of the games are fine!

Does anyone else have trouble streaming with Amazon? It keeps dropping in quality and now the video is frozen but the audio is still going.

Anytime I try to start watching the stream it takes a while to load too. Using the Amazon firestick but gosh, it really hates streaming the game each week.

It all depends on what your usecase is. If someone's just starting out and wanting to do gpio stuff with a Linux os, yeah the pi may still be the best bet since it's got such a large following and guides written. But if someone's got more experience and just needs a cheap small form factor machine to run Linux and interact with some non mission critical gpios, a small nuc with a pico will give you a greater bang for the buck!

I started out the same way and now my desk is cluttered with partially completed projects and devices in various states of taken apart. But for me the fun part is learning something new along the project journey. The microcontrollers were a game changer due to their low cost. I'm not trying to fry them, but hey if I screw up who cares it was a couple bucks anyways.

For circuits I design I've mostly been having them created overseas and I'll solder on the components but I'm really curious about hacking a toaster into a refry oven or whatever their called and soldering surface mount components. Not that I need the small form factor or I'm making enough circuits to warrant trying to save on cost, I'm just curious and want to try haha. Gonna need a bigger desk...

That's a good point. An expensive qb coach but hey if he can turn Zach around... I'm not a Jets fan either. Just here for the chaos.

There's an arcade in the center of town beneath an expensive (yet shitty) apartment complex. The arcade windows are covered but there is a sign that says "Opening Soon". It's been two years and nothing has changed externally. At first I was giving them the benefit of the doubt, but the property is expensive to rent and after 2 year I have my doubts.

What I don't understand though is if you were using the place as a front, wouldn't an arcade be a great place to launder money while your at it?

Hey man don't give up! Well maybe give up on using the mac mini - i've never used one but if it's going to be a pain to install linux go grab something cheap on eBay or FB Marketplace if that's a thing in your area. I recently bought a cheap dell optiplex (I think?) on marketplace for like, ~$25? Not sure what your use case is, but if you don't need a super fast nas, most cheap desktop machines on your local buy/swap community purchase place will do the job just fine. Don't let the mac mini be what holds ya back!

    Mac Lock / Sleep Settings

I've recently switched over to a MacBook Pro after using Windows or Linux laptops my entire life. I love that when I close the lid the laptop turns off and uses very little power. When I open it, everything is up and running again like nothing ever happend. Crazy concept I know, but coming from years of windows machines, this is a luxury. What I can't figure out though is how do I keep the machine running when I lock it without closing the lid? I run various VPNs and have programs for work that are painfully slow to compile / start. I can't leave the thing unattended while signed in obviously in an office, but I'd love to be able to lock it while compiling and walk around / grab a drink without having to reconnect to the VPN and having to resume the compilation of programs. At the same time, I really love that when I close the lid it goes to sleep so I'd like to keep that feature as well. Is this possible? My fellow Mac users in an office, what do you do?

I'm not sure I'd say it's completely harmless, but isn't pumping gas while the car is running generally not a huge risk?

ISO: 12v 5amp power supply with USB port

Hello! I'm looking for a power supply that can provide 12 volts up to 5 amps that also has a USB power port I could use to power a RPI. I've hacked an old proprietary 3d printer apart and rewired it to use Klipper running on a Raspberry Pi 3B that talks to an Arduino with a [Ramps 1.4](https://reprap.org/wiki/RAMPS_1.4#Power_Supply) shield to control the motors and heat element. I don't have a heated bed so would only need up to 5 amps as that's the limit of the board. Right now I have everything working plugged into two power cables, one for the RPI and the other going into the Ramps board on the Arduino. I would love to get a a device that allows me to plug a 120V AC mains power outlet into it and provide me with 12 volts 5 amps and a USB power source I can plug the pi into. Does such a device exist in a small form factor? Would love for everything to be neatly contained inside the printer.
