Yes, if it only contains files then it won't do anything.

No, why?
So this utility given a directory or path, will move randomly files in subdirectories and will move subdirectories randomly too. CAREFUL, if given system directory it will probably trash the system, equivalent of doing `rm -rf /`, except all the files are still there! :) I don't know why I came up with this idea nor if its original but its mine. You might ask, whats the use case, well that's an interesting question, you know why? Because... 🏃 (Of course, I'm open to feedback.)

Rule 4: No association with or reference to crypto“currencies” because these are greed incentivizing pyramid schemes.
Aurora accepts cryptocurrencies as donations. And F-Droid also did but apparently its on hold.

I prefer simplewall over tinywall. I can't remember what I didn't like about tinywall though.
What I ended up doing was making my own battery by using 2x18650 connected in series to get the 6V the camcorder needed and a buck converter and worked like charm. I didn't want to end up buying already "built" batteries from a seller in Aliexpress. Here I wrote a little more about it with images. https://0x00.cl/blog/2023/making-my-own-battery/
Hello, I have an old sony camera that has an old Ni-Cd battery (6V 3000mAh) and of course now the charge doesn't last long. They do sell "new" batteries for it but its from Aliexpress and I don't want to rely on 1 not so reputable seller incase I need a new one. So I wanted to repair it and "upgrade" it myself, but im no electrician or anything I just like to tinker with electronics so I had a few questions. The battery and camera only have 2 connections, positive (+) and negative (-). I saw on aliexpress that they sell a [6V 4200mAh battery pack](https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005004745627376.html), which is made of 5xAA (1.2V) Ni-Mh rechargable batteries. Would it be as simple as that, if I connect the positive and negative to the corresponding ones on the old camera it should work? Is there anything else I should take into consideration? EDIT: The camera Is a Sony CCD-TR403 EDIT2: or would it be better to build my own battery pack with 18650

🤯 This is totally it. No way it's just a coincidence 2 big social platforms "close" their APIs
I recently bought this mechanical keyboard from Aliexpress, Aigo A68 (~46 USD). I did a more in depth review in my blog with more pictures. https://0x00.cl/blog/2023/mechanical-keyboard/

Well, the tab key was created to avoid repeatedly having to press space to create an indentation, but that was on typewritters, so either way, you can use spaces or tab key to indent text.
Now text editors can transform tab character ('\t') to desired amount of spaces, and I think the problem with using tab characters in code ('\t') is that system may have different configurations for the amount of space a tab char takes, making it look inconsistent on different systems, while space char is pretty much standard on every system.

Entertainment. Just like movies tell you a story and you can put in a sentence the plot of the movie.
By that logic, Why even make a video if you can write it in a sentence.

I skimmed through the article and I'm surprised the author at no point mentions the "drama" or the discussion the founder of privacytoolsio had with the mantainers of the website when they decided to move to privacyguides. To me it lost reputation after that.

Why not use a more "generic" extension, a redirector. You can redirect anything to anywhere.
How about https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/redirector/
I haven't vetted it, but looks good

Servers. There's going to be more people, more people that have access to technology and internet and a lot of services are online.
Not only that, but look at how big data centers, how much cooling they need (They need a LOT of water), it could make it more efficient.
But to be fair this article writes very little about something that is just a proof of concept.
This documentary looks relevant to me in here. Not only because it explains burnout but also because it questions the current way we see work.

Why do you need this when you can use simple wired headphones?
Clearly because of wires and just about why wireless options exist about anything... It's not like wireless headphones are something new, there is clearly people buying them and cheaper options have appeared than when they first came out.

Yes, you are correct. But I must say that Stremio does have its cons and is that it doesn't run everything locally.
-
When you run Stremio it runs a server in the background where you can access content from any browser in your network (port 11470) BUT the webpage itself loads external resources from app.strem.io, if you lose internet connection or for some reason app.strem.io is down then you won't be able to access the server to watch content. Jellyfin runs everything locally.
-
To me it is very sketchy how they hide their "guest login" option and force you to create an account to use stremio and authenticate with a remote server. There are no local accounts. Jelly does have local accounts, you can limit their download speed, control the devices they use and the movies they can watch.
I guess you could run your own stremio server but doesn't look like an easy task as they don't provide binaries and you have to compile and configure the different components yourself.

I'm not sure if Jellyfin has a torrent plugin, like I said, Stremio with the torrent plugin seems to be the replacement of popcorn time.
If you have movies or shows stored in your disk, then you can run Jellyfin and anyone with a browser will be able to watch what you have stored. You can setup accounts for your family members like you'd have in Netflix so they can keep track of what they are watching and what they have watched, limit access to certain content, etc. It's very configurable in that sense. I'd say the UI is user-friendly.
You can check-out their demo here https://demo.jellyfin.org/stable/web/index.html

It's not open source afaik. I couldn't find a link to a git repository on their website, had to go on twitter to find a tweet where they had a link. Apparently they open source some of their tools only. https://resonate.github.io/
PS. Just want to point out the acc joined 3h ago and this is their first post, 1h ago.

Doesn't autopilot requires de driver to pay attention and have hands at the wheel at all times? I'd guess they could be held liable if they could prove the driver tried to correct the car but faulty software didn't allow him/her to take control back.🤷
