A lot of this short is in a new style of 3D — a more regularly shaded one than the cel-shaded 3D they usually use. It honestly goes pretty well with the 2D, and I think it'd be fun to see this style in a full video or two. Dunno if it should become a staple of Kurzgesagt's style, but it's def interesting.

You know, Kurzgesagt is not only an English channel, but it also provide video translated in multiple other languages on others translated Kurzgesagt channels. I was looking for something to help me find Kurzgesagt video in other languages, and found this spreadsheet. I don't know if there is a more official website or tool for that, but this is the only thing I found. I thought it may be interesting for you too It isn't fully complete though, for example the "Portugese" column is almost empty, and recent videos are not present. But it's open to edition, so we can participate to keep it up to date ----- If you have a more official list, I'll be interested (and I'll edit this post to prefer sharing the official list). For now I'll be using this spreadsheet as it's mostly filled and as I didn't find anything else

Another advertisement for the 12024 Human Era Calendar. Figured I'd post it here since it *is* another Kurzgesagt video.
In the opinion portion of [Kurzgesagt's most recent video](https://iv.ggtyler.dev/watch?v=fuFlMtZmvY0), they suggest that going back to small forums, bulletin boards, etc. will help people deradicalize and become more empathetic. The idea behind this is that, just like real life, forums allow people who disagree on certain things to bond under a shared interest or identity; this makes people more receptive to those disagreeing opinions and more empathetic towards the people that hold them. I'd watch the video if you haven't, as it'll make more sense then. My question: do you agree with this? Do you think returning to separated forums will help in the way Kurzgesagt suggests? Do you think it'd be a good idea for other reasons? My opinion is that while I don't have an issue with individual forums, I'm very skeptical of the idea that they'll help solve extremification like the video claims. Kurzgesagt says that these forums are like real life, but I see a few issues with this claim: * On forums, people maybe be just talking about the thing that the forum is about. For example, if you're on a forum about Minecraft or cats, you're not going to be discussing differing political opinions — in fact, such conversations are usually frowned upon. This is different from your real life community, where you're going to be talking about all sorts of different topics. * Many forums are about the very things we don't want people extremified on. Look at lemmygrad or hexbear, which might as well be their own forums given the massive amount of defederation from them. Or, for a less extreme example, go to r/antiwork — you won't find much disagreement there (that isn't buried into obscurity by downvotes, anyway). These places can potentially create dangerous bubbles that Kurzgesagt says are rare online, and that could get even worse if, for example, political subreddits became their own forums entirely. These are just my thoughts immediately after watching the video, so I'm curious to see what others think.

I finally had a talk with one of their moderators over Discord. * I cannot advertise our mission over the Discord server (at least not yet) until Kurzgesagt acknowledges or endorses us * We can mention about kbin there and send more information over direct messaging but that's it for now * A few thousand subscribers to this magazine may or may not be enough to attract Kurzgesagt's attention . Boys, gals and others! We have a mission! We must grow lol. I'll try to talk to Kurzgesagt's employee and send Kurzgesagt another email about us again once we reach a few thousand birbs over here. In the meanwhile, let us try to point folks over to kbin through Reddit, YouTube comments and whatnot!
