Heads-up warning to occupiers: you will never feel safe in Mariupol if you stay there . That child and many others will come back again and again , their own children too...
See Israel, it lasted over 19 centuries, until they came back. See Palestinians, they still try to get back to their land and fight for it, israel isn't safe and won't be for eons.
Do you want your children and their own children to live in fear.
Don't stay there, it's only going to cost all of you more. Leave before you get acclimated to those territories. Before a Russian child calls this foreign land his.

Cannot see modules for sale in the shop which is rather strange for a modular phone. There is no details of their sourcing concerning rare earth parts . They push the recycling part real high when their documentation shows 450 Kg/year of effective recycling, where does the rest of their current devices come from? Finally They push consumerism quite far in their shop with their bundle buy our current phone and you get a free upgrade towards the next one we launch.
And what about the bikes they also make and sell? Making one type of good product in such a niche market should be focusing enough not to be distracted in making other household products with vastly different supply chains, especially when you aren't a multi-billion conglomerate.

The seizure of Russian owned assets isn't stealing as she says, it's applying the same methods as the owners of those assets have against EU and US companies since the beginning of this war. I'm pretty sure they will be compensated by that one symbolic Euro, to keep the mirror image going.

When security meets privacy. I'm worried that some independant android OS that use profiles as a means to achieve both might find themselves broken in their future iterations. Just a heads-up.

It's usually just the antennas that got very slightly out of their sockets. Look for a how to get it openned and press the antenna wires (they should be the only real round, white plastic coated, wires you'll see) back into their sockets. And you'll be good to go for a few more years.

Or, serious idea too: only allow it through ADB and only get the adb toggle with warning but no explanation as to how to use it behind the 5 taps on version number.
I'm pretty sure as soon as the instructions to get a banking app involves downloading stuff on a computer, connecting the phone, getting into cli...most people would have gone on to find the real app.

Toggle in the dev options would only be one more instruction step for the scammers, defeating the purpose of hiding OTP from screen sharing in the first place.

Because it's more optimised towards AI, you start off with an exynos chip which is ok for gaming and ok-ish as far as neural networks are concerned. The more you optimise it for AI tasks, the less easy it is to make it as available as it was before optimisation for rendering. So a G3 isn't meant to be architecturaly better at gaming than a G2, the goal is to be way better at AI, and unless there is a leap in exynos architecture, that should increase with tha G4... Until google get it's independant chip designs around ARM achitecture going. Until then they have to work within the limits of exynos limitations.

Here is the product page of the chip in Fairphone's 5th phone:

Fairphone uses Qualcomm snapdragon chips but they don't use chips made for mobile phones, it's chips for industrial use they buy, so the secure element might be missing. The reason is: they are supported for way longer which allows fairphone such long update periods. The shortlist of other phonemakers who can do the same are the ones who design their own chips: Google, Samsung, Apple.

Google deprecated both AOSP phone app and AOSP messenger app a few months ago. Normally, there should be a surge in FOSS replacements for both apps as they are needed by ROM makers to have a good experience (also: i understand it's not necessarily the most exciting kind of apps to dev yet they are probably among the most risky privacy-wise to make)

So...homeownership price is determined by three things mainly: let's put asside the bank loan price and focus on the next two: the value of the land and the value of the construction. Depending on where you are, one can mildly ofset the other but I can tell you for sure that unless you build your printed home in the middle of nowhere, the only thing that willl happen is the value of land will go up as much as these housings get sold for everyone (not just printed houses owners).

Realisticaly, i think FSD has the potential to be level 3 officially and probably some car makers have the tech to do it too BUT in the EU, if the car has a level 3 autonomous driving, the car maker becomes legally responsible of accidents when the driving conditions are met ( most EU states limit it to highways). For the time being, only Mercedes had the courage to try it (probably because they have ample knowledge of driving assistance through their trucking production.)
renohren 1 year ago • 100%
That because tesla induced them to think it was level 4 or 5 while FSD is level 2 (like most Toyotas are ) but with a few extra options.
And as long as there is a need for a human to endorse responsability, it will remain at level 2.
renohren 1 year ago • 100%
[comment clarification: I confused Autopilot and FSD]
Yeah they should have called it level 2 autonomous driving, like most other mass market car makers do (except Mercedes which have level 3 on the roads). People could then compare the different limits and clearly see what brands are or are not at the forefront of the tech.

Russia or China having to only look after itself, it's population, it's secessionist regions was much better for the colllective west. The current goal is to have them do that again. Even if it means manufacturing an economic crisis the west will suffer from too, it's still better that getting our collective ass kicked out of african or southeast asian countries. And if someone must get through suffering, it might as well be Ukrainians rather than germans or poles, so just enough material to have a stable front.
Not my thought but pretty sure it's the one coming up in confidential assessments, and I can't totally fault them if you take out the humanity from considerations.

It's nice to have some old style news from time to time. I mean I despise the guy and his regime, but this is the kind of news that we are used to and that tells us: ok, we are still far from ww3 from that place. In case you'll miss it: Next, NK is going to sink a fishing vessel or two with glorious missiles. After that, NK will have a ridiculous demand or claim that will have Kimmy to meet with some foreign dignitaries. Meanwhile the G7 minus Russia and China will set up a meeting in some seaside resort in automn. Where they will intensly study the NK claims between luxurious meals. Before deciding that US milk and cereals could be exported to the EU if the US car market will open up to EU brands (none of the two will happen anyway.). NK gets a bit of money from China who will want to have Kimmy calm down while it extract itself from it's stagflation...
I was wondering: did anybody manage to do this? i have a quite recent NUC in my kitchen that currently uses debian but I am quite captivated by the google ecosystem. i saw recently a video about chromeOS being installable on other hardware than chromebooks. Will it allow me to use google home/ android notifications/SMS etc... Seamlessly à la Apple?
