Communicating more effectively with the world requires you to meet the world where it's at.

I agree with your sentiment, but I'll say I'm in my 30s and in grade school they definitely taught us mean/median/mode as being ways to measure the average. That said, I do also use average to mean mean as that's what something like Excel calls it and that's what most people think of when measuring average unless you specify otherwise. So that's all to say, yeah it's a bit messed up.

I mean those were just similar refreshes to what Sony did today, so Sony is ahead of the game. Microsoft had no Pro style console planned so no need for Sony to show their hand. Sony didn't even announce the PS4 Pro until just a couple months before it came out. Plus they want people buying consoles now, not waiting for a year.

Rumors have been late 2024 at this point. So if it is real, might have to wait another year.

*Can't afford to buy a $48K car
There are still sedans out there that can be gotten for a lot less, people have really been over spending on these large SUVs to make the average price $48K. Get a ~$30K sedan instead, you can get a Honda Civic for under $30K or a number of other cars.
Now obviously that's still out of reach for a ton of people, but it just seems weird to say "can't afford a new car" and then picking something for $48K.

Yeah, so basically long enough that nobody is going to remember this and she is going to George Costanza her way back into the office.

It's a bit weird because it's "in a region", which begs the question if I capture a creature from a different region and move it to a region where it was extinct, is it extinct anymore? (There being only one also means it will quickly become 0 again.)
Idk, just a weird thought.

Question is who is just throwing $2 at comments? Should users just cut out the middleman and post their Venmo/Patreon handles or something?
If the app stores take a 30% cut then they are making 60cents off the $2 and Reddit takes in 40¢ while the user gets $1.
Just pay me the dollar directly, be sure to upvote, comment below and subscribe for more comments like this.

Reddit's post was distinctly non-specific about the dollar amounts people can expect to see
Lol, so basically "we might give you money if we feel like it".

For Pokémon Blue the Super GameBoy definitely looks better than the GBC/GBA/GameBoy Player on GC, but not as good as what OP posted: https://youtu.be/U0xLy6-_570?si=IZl_jj3L0W8azS-i

I assume you are running a ROM hack of some kind, because pretty sure Blue doesn't look that colorful on the GBC?

MXM GPUs never really caught on, and nobody builds their own laptop, it's just not a thing like it is with desktops.
Best option if you want upgradable graphics would be an external Thunderbolt dock, but even then there are plenty of caveats there.

It's definitely to hide the back of the fridge which is ugly, that said I probably would have put it on the wall with the stove, and maybe moved the stove across if that was cramped.

7600K - 1481 ST 13600K - 2654 ST 13700K - 2820 ST 13900K - 2955 ST
So to answer the question something like an 80% improvement over 2016, roughly 2x if you compare it to a 2016 i5. And the 13900K does have the highest single thread performance in the 13th-gen models from what I can tell.

Idk what kind of products you can turn a body into that can be sold (first I've heard of it), but wouldn't that even be more environmentally friendly than just cremating those parts? I say use whatever, I'm done with it, if human skin wallets or whatever are hot on the market go for it.

If you are using a TV with just stereo speakers that has nothing to do with Atmos, if you have surround sound 5.1 that's again not Atmos, you need height/ceiling channels for Atmos. It sounds like you are just appreciating good stereo audio.

The new controller they are making might also be worth checking out when it comes out, not sure if it would be helpful in this situation or not: https://www.playstation.com/en-us/accessories/access-controller/
reallynotnick 1 year ago • 100%
While I haven't tested it my understanding is it would only be for games with 3D audio (Tempest audio or whatever) and games custom made for Atmos. If the console is still outputting Atmos for other games it may just be to keep the system from having to switch and drop audio for a second, but I assume no audio will come out of those channels.

- Go to [Settings] > [System] > [Beep Sound].
- To adjust the beep sound volume, select [Volume].
- To mute the beep sound, turn on [Mute Beep Sound].

It might actually be the port is jammed up with dust on the devices you have used so it couldn't fully insert and lock in. Being that lightning is a decent sized hole lint gets in there and then when you plug the cable in you compact it all down and it eventually keeps you from fully inserting the cable but it can often still charge though sometimes it is a bit finicky. I clean my out about once a year due to this, haven't noticed in 3 years of owning a device wearing out the clippy/spring dodads.
reallynotnick 1 year ago • 100%
Lightning has the divots in the sides of the cable and then two idk spring loaded bits that press in there on the phone side. It's insanely secure, one could argue possibly too much, but I can hang my phone from the cord and it won't fall out.
Now that's not to say USB-C is bad like it falls out or anything, just that it takes more force to disconnect a lightning cable than USB-C.
Target is now open until 8pm (7pm on Sunday), where it previously closed at 6pm. I'm excited to not have to rush after work anymore.
