This has been a nice little break from the regularly scheduled ass whoopings, love to see Eklunds power growing.

Having just watched it last night, I had the same gripe as you did regarding the titan changes coming undone, but now I think it kinda works well with the shift in tone we get when it's revealed that despite the events that took place, the cycle is doomed to continue.
There's a real sense of optimism after the fight that I think is actually pretty important to one of AoT's messages about how even if we're trapped in these awful cycles, there are moments within those cycles where things can be good and worth living for.

This is cute. But the real question: Do people actually use those joycons attachments??

With all the rumors around wonder and then the whole movie ordeal I'm glad to hear that this seems to be a mutual thing and that Charles will stay on in his new role as "Mario Ambassador".
Given how protective Nintendo is over this IP I trust that the replacements will be faithful to the characters, even if it's gonna take quite a bit of getting used to!

Glad you're okay, that's the important part! Bikes can be repaired or replaced, part of why they're so great! I actually don't really know my game plan for when I take a fall. What's going through your head?

The visible frustration as they just up and is delicious. They don't say a word to the SCHOOL BUS they hit and there's not a shred of concern for others in their body language. What an ass.

I'll ride my bike around, ideally picking up some food and eating it somewhere public where I can people watch. Then the rest of the day I'll play around with my guitar and/or some video games if I'm playing anything at the moment. (Still working on TotK right now)

This one always gets a chuckle out of me when I see how strongly people feel about it. Obviously if it's causing any issues while riding like in your case it's gotta go, but outside of that I don't even notice them on bikes half the time. I had to check my bike just now to see if I have mine on (I do 😅)

Great recommendation. Somewhere in the Between was my introduction to the genre! So many good memories listening to both of these albums nonstop in high school, totally reshaped my whole musical identity at the time.

- Studies have shown that imposing restrictions like this decrease participation
This is also a big problem since cycling is a lot safer when there are more people cycling

It's true that you'll probably see something unpleasant on public transit once in a while but most folks aren't going to share the experience of someone who is literally tasked with engaging with and managing the people causing problems on the bus.
It's unfortunate though because in my experience transit feels a lot more pleasant when there are at least a decent amount of people riding with you. When people start to feel unsafe and stop riding, it can drive further people away if they have other transportation options.

After Zelda dropped I had pretty low expectations for this direct but there was a lot of stuff in there!! The one that actually captured my attention the most was Penny's Big Breakaway. All that movement stuff just looks so smooth and fun.
Also stoked for all the Mario love, the art style they're going for with Mario Wonder is so expressive, kinda reminds me of the Mario and Luigi games

It feels like we're getting toward the end of the switch life cycle, but sales are still strong and Nintendo probably would love to hold onto this install base they have. Wonder if we get some acknowledgement of that life cycle or potentially a new console soon.

I used bacon reader for a couple years before switching to relay and staying there for like 10 years or something like that. Tried others here and there but always quickly went back to relay for one reason or another. I'll be sad to see it go

I cannot imagine that marginal calorie burn from the 1-2 lbs difference in frame material is going to outweigh the impact of manufacturing costs and longevity of steel vs aluminum, though I do agree that these should be likey addressed after bikes have the infra and adoption sorted out. E-bikes still represent the best solution towards replacing car trips for the average person imo
As you must know, In the upcoming draft San Jose is picking 4th, the highest pick they've had they selected Brad Stuart 3rd overall in 1998. Consensus is that while Michkov could be the best player available at that spot by quite the margin, a Carlsson or Smith might be safer bets due to concerns regarding Michkovs contract in Russia and some "character issues" that I haven't seen validated anywhere in my admittedly limited research. My inclination is that the sharks can afford to wait for a player like Michkov as things stand now, and I think I would take him, but if I had to guess, I'd say they take Smith. I'm not super upset about this, but I'm interested to hear other people's thoughts on the pick?

Honestly it's the silliest thing. I like just the tactile sensation of the strings under my fingers. Also I think that guitars just look really cool, so I just gravitate towards picking one up whenever I get a free moment in the apartment. This is why my guitar lives right next to my desk so I can see it and remember to play it frequently.

I think I probably ran consistently for at least 3 years before signing up for a race ever occured to me, haha. I think I eventually signed up for a Thanksgiving 10k, and while I was very comfortable with the distance, I had absolutely no idea what I was doing in terms of race day logistics. I was home from college at the time and I had forgotten my running shorts so I ended up running in my brother's sweatpants which were A) pants and B) much too large for me. Additionally, I had not put together that I wouldn't have a place to store anything and had brought a drawstring bag with me from the car so I ran the whole race with that bouncing around behind me, pants billowing in the wind 😂

As someone with not a ton of exposure to this topic, it's heartbreaking to hear about the environment that these people grow up in, and how life they are robbed of by an institution of fear and control. I cannot imagine how difficult it must be to break free of the cycle when everything and everyone you've ever known is working against you do hard. I'm glad that their children are thriving in school and showing them that all that effort and grief was for a reason.

It would actually be an incredible power move to gig with a sweet guitar covered in smudged signatures from a famous band that you don't really know / have an appreciation for. Still, I'm glad it made its way to you, thanks for sharing!
The sign of a thriving guitar community is fools posting photos of their unmodded incredibly popular guitars, so it's an honor to be the first to share this photo of a JMJM here :P It's not even the more desirable model, it's a 2020, and I don't particularly get along with the ToM bridge, but it's mine and I love it all the same!
I'm relishing at the thought that the same greed and incompetence that might take the A's out of Oakland is causing problems for them in Vegas. The special session did not look like it went well at all. The small part of me that hasn't been crushed under the cruel weight of reality is still holding out hope that they throw in the towel, sell the team, and new ownership negotiates properly with Oakland, but obviously not expecting it... yet...
Really hoping to see support for more of this style of development in the SF Bay Area. The Sunset District is notoriously low density and has been pretty NIMBY when it comes to building anything new in the area.
