Thanks! I think I peaked with today's puzzle, lol. I was able to figure out the theme, so I got the spanagram first. Then I got the rest of the words without using any hints or non-theme words.
It's all downhill from here.

Summit is the best app I've tried, with Boost a close second. It's got tons of features and is updated frequently.

This is a good one, I used Geany for a long, long time (and SciTE before that!) Have since switched to mostly VS Code and Helix, but I do fire up Geany occasionally too.

I had an appointment for my annual physical in June that I had to reschedule. I called a couple of days beforehand, and the first time they could see me was in November.
We really are lucky as Americans not to have the crazy long wait times that other countries do, right?

Thanks, that makes sense. I can't make up my mind between two Android clients: Summit and Boost.
Unfortunately, Summit doesn't appear to persist thread collapsing at all. Boost does temporarily, but as you said, if I refresh the post, it gets reset. Would be nice to have clients support that, but it's not the end of the world, either.
Edit: Just realized that saving the comment for the game I'm interested in would probably make a decent workaround.

Thank you for all the work you've been doing on this! My only hesitation with having all games in one post is that on busy days, I wonder if it would be hard to find the game you're interested in. The post you showed had only three games, which was totally fine. But days with 10 or 12 (or even more!) games might be tougher. I guess time will tell how well it works in practice.

Physical, but I have used eSIM while traveling to different countries. It was much cheaper than getting an international data plan.

I got the blue category purely from process of elimination. I completely missed what they had in common until seeing the solution. Kinda got lucky with that one.

I agree with this to some degree, but at the very least, IMO it would be better to put the result inside the post, and behind a spoiler warning. There's really no way to avoid it if it's in the title of the post.

Update: the town is working to find a better solution than outright removal of the course!
In the interim, we will postpone the dismantling of the Disc Golf course and restoration plan until the Department of Environmental Protection states otherwise and/or an agreement has been made.

Yes, I'm 45 and from the US.
Unfortunately, although my current car (Mazda3) is available in a manual, I was looking to buy a 2018 model in 2019. My options were limited to remaining inventory, which did not include any manuals. Will be looking for a manual next time, but it's becoming almost impossible to find here.

I know picking Kristin is almost too obvious, but man, she is just on another level right now. She had a really bad final round in the European Championship recently. As long as she's able to move past that mentally, it's hard to pick against her.
I like the Simon pick! Five days is a long time, and he even said he hasn't won many four day tournaments, much less five. But if he plays smart and his putt is dialed in, I could easily see him taking it down.
This is really shitty. The linked petition has the details, but the short version is that Stafford Woods, consistently ranked as the best course in New Jersey, is on the verge of being removed.
I had no idea we were the only state in the area without a bear hunting season!

I'm on pace to play something like 40-50 rounds this year. I guess there is some threshold above which I'm not willing to pay for UDisc, but less than $1/round ain't it.
That's even before you factor in other stuff like cataloging discs, measuring throws, leagues, etc. It's still well worth it IMO.

There is a particular style called New Haven apizza which has thin, crispy crust. It's baked in a very hot, usually coal-fired oven. It's the best.

Excellent, easy shave to end my Father's day. This finished off a sample sized container of Sonder. I was very happy with it and will definitely look for a full tub.

I still don't fully understand this, either. Under the hood, they're both using ActivityPub, but they don't seem entirely compatible. I can tack on a Lemmy community name to a Mastodon URL - i.e., https://elk.zone/@wetshaving@sub.wetshaving.social. I see the Mastodon version of the community's profile page, but I don't see any actual posts.
Edit: I'm starting to see Lemmy posts on my Mastodon timeline now. Maybe just a delay due to federation? It's really interesting to see how the posts are represented in Mastodon. They look like posts by the Lemmy user, boosted by the community they were posted in. Cool!

First post here! I started using a safety razor about a year ago. I don't have a huge collection, so my shaves may not have a ton of variety, but I'm happy to be a part of the community.
I don't love these blades. They are a bit too mild, so I feel like I need to do an extra pass to get a close shave. I probably won't buy them again.
The soap, on the other hand, is fantastic, and appropriate since mountain laurel is the state flower of my state of Connecticut. Smells like spring!
