I grew up watching GI Joe and Transformers on WGN in the early-80's. Because Wrigley didn't have lights, I'd occasionally run into a Cubs game on WGN in the afternoon and was too lazy to actually go outside and play.
I learned pretty much everything about baseball listening to Steve Stone.
So yeah, it was the Cubs up until after 2016. The WS was awesome, but the new owners are pretty crap, so I'm mostly just a fan of baseball now.

Thanks! I saw one called The Scary Door on another instance too. I'll link to both of those.

Tada! https://lemmy.ml/c/futurama
I've never modded a sub/community before, much less something with a fanbase the size of Futurama's. But, I'm willing to get it started.

I'd love to hear more about what you've learned.

I died who I am
Some neat tricks for using `Makefiles` with Python that I hadn't seen before. The one I have seen, having a `help` target, has been super useful in team environments and for debugging when used with variables.
IIRC this had been priced at $79.99 USD for a while. It has now dropped to $59.99 USD. Seems like a good deal if you've been looking to pick this up anyway.

That's awesome. Would love to see the Brickheadz of you and your girlfriend when you finish them.

Also how I played the game as a kid!
Also also, my fantasy team's current approach.

Is clever defensive positioning really a problem? It's how I learned to play the game.
Ordered this last night and should have it in the next few days!
