Consider your threat model. You could use a yubikey for Bitwarden log in.
I have a pair of Scarpa VS that I have resoled once before. When I got those new I had to break them in for about two months, it was very painful but nowthey fit perfectly. I have tried Sportiva solutions in between when I had the scarpa resoled, but I couldn’t get them to fit. I figured I would have the Scarpa VS as a back up shoe, but I ended ho wearing them as my main. I sold the solutions. The sole on the Scarpa is now about 60% done and am thinking about next steps. A new shoe sounds interesting, but resoling the Scarpa once again could be the better option. How many times do you resole your shoe?

I’ll take any suggestion. I really enjoyed the all possession replay, although that might be to much to ask.
Currently watching 10 min highlights on YouTube, 720p isn’t the best.
If it is a match I really want to see, I would consider watching it in full.
Considering I am from the EU, I rarely watch anything live.

Which site do you guys recommend for watching replays, condensed if possible. And keeping up on need and standings? I’m new to NBA.

This is a great option, I have used it too in the past. Since, I have switched to iCloud when they implemented e2e encryption. Seems no one else here goes that route, trust issues maybe.
I do miss versioning with iCloud.
I have proton drive too, waiting on that osx client.

I am in that group. I have philips hue integrated with an Apple TV for a HomeKit hub. Though I don’t think it cut ties with the Philip services when doing that.

I never play on Mac M1, should I? I have a ps5, how would performance compare to that? If m1 might actually have comparable performance I might need to get into it and have games streamed using steamlink to my tv.

The downvotes, the jokes, I find it immature. Seems like lemmy turned out to be to have become toxic with the Reddit refugees.
Look, I’m looking forward on playing the game ever since release. I still respect cd project for what they have done with Witcher 3. I simply waited to play the game as my time is sparse nowadays and I have to chose consciously how I spent it. If the game gives me dozens of hours of a great time, I see no problem in spending the cash.

I have waited till the release to play it. It’s still in its wrap. Is now the definitive moment finally? Do I get the DLC right now, or is that for later?

I wholeheartedly agree and support that. Hence my recommendation for Bitwarden. Somehow you lemmies can’t appreciate my sincere bafflement, constructive discussion everyone; it’s you who is the dick. Keep them downvotes coming and have a nice day.

I might see myself switching to proton pass from Bitwarden in the future, but a deal breaker for me is the lack of emergency contacts to give acces to your vault if the shit has hit the fan.

If baffles me one is as tech enthousiast to be on the privacy Lemmy; but has never heard of a password manager.
On topic: Bitwarden is the way, like others have mentioned before me. It has delivered on all my needs for a manager for a couple of years now.

Is use the Firefox Focus safari extension as my content blocker. I think it works really good, can I say better then Adguard?
I combine it with nextdns ad blocking too.
Other extensions as others have mentioned: Noir, Vinegar , Backing soda , Kagi, Opener.
One day, I will simply use the Orion browser as my main browser instead.

I’m really missing emergency contacts that will be allowed to acces your vault if the shit hits the fan. Although I am excited about the project, I can’t move over from Bitwarden if this isn’t added.

I was considering switching from Bitwarden as I already pay for the proton suite. But I realised proton pass doesn’t have an emergency contact feature as Bitwarden has. That is a deal breaker.

If I may give tips to take your efforts to the next level. Find your local coffee roaster whom hopefully sourced their coffee beans in a sustainable fashion. Use oats milk instead of cow milk for your cappuccinos, bring your own bags instead of taking any bags for doing groceries, exchange all your 4 cars for 1 electric car, and now charge your ev with the solar production you have for a free charge up.

How does this compare with my home hosting solution with vpn *arrs jellyfin and infuse. I am not familiar with Orion and real debrid. It looks like you are outsourcing everything.

More tech savy people analysed the dns jumps, and I think the understanding was it goes through both IPR’s and Nextdns’s DNS. If so, I still imagined this block test to show a result where everything had been filtered by nextdns at some point in the route.

I use Jellyfin with https://firecore.com/infuse for Apple TV. It is the smoothest experience I can think of.

Interestingly, I get a better result with only nextdns profile with hagi pro on iOS 87%, compared to nextdns + iCloud private relay 37%. What gives? Nextdns still handles my requests with private relay enabled, I can see it in the logs of nextdns.
I also use the Firefox focus safari extension.
Score is also slightly less with nextdns and proton vpn at 81%.
I rather liked to iCloud private relay nextdns combo, should i change.
Orion gave me 100%, but that browser isn’t as polished compared to safari on iOS.

I am researching Duplicati for backup purposes. I guess now with proton rclone support, that would apply to duplicati as well. That would be great as I only have iCloud and proton drive as cloud storage solutions.

I’m underwhelmed. I just sold my wf xm4 and will likely get the AirPods Pro 2. I did enjoy the xm4, and I could cope with how uncomfortable they are, but I am interested in what the AirPods can deliver, even though the stem design I find hideous.
The mic on these Xm5s sound like garbage, but maybe that can be fixed with an ota.
I will highly appreciate any recommendations you might have to spot the occasional hedgehog roaming our small garden. I got as far that people like generic ip PoE cameras such as from reolink and set them up through syncted. I havent gotten to such a complex configuration, but i have a mac mini m1 with docker at home that i can run as a server if needed. Are wifi cameras a no go? It would save me to drill through walls.
What would be the recommended route for logging in to proton pass? Currently I have a random string password string stored in Bitwarden and auto fill whenever I need to login to proton. Obviously I need to remember my master password to gain access to my vault. If I were to potentially switch over to proton pass exclusively, I would need to change the proton password in something I can remember instead. I would argue it might actually reduce the security challenge for the proton account. Any thoughts on the topic?
