Helix also, but aren't Zed and Helix both modal?
edit: Huh. I just tried out Zed and looks like modal editing is optional.

Are you looking for a job in a particular industry? Maybe someone here has a connection.
Here's hoping you find success soon!

That's hardly a reason to get rid of it or replace it. Clearly people are benefitting from it and it's evident if you look at your tax return. If anything, the fact that people don't know about the return is a failure in marketing. So sure, there are maybe some improvements to make.
But really, no matter what carbon scheme you put in place, the cons will find a way to complain about it. That's not a failure of the carbon tax. That's just how the conservatives operate.

The software will likely work, but keep in mind that you'll have to add VM startup time when you want to use the software. I have occasionally seen software behave strangely in a VM as well, so best to just try it.
Can you share the software you went to use? Maybe there's a good Linux alternative or someone knows how to get it working in wine.

Have you tried alvr? It's not as seamless but it works and has more knobs to configure.

There is a lot of old stuff, especially on the wiki. It's one of the reasons I abandoned over a decade of config and started using Doom Emacs. I appreciate the curated set of packages with a more consistent interface than I had time to maintain.
As for sln based projects, I've never had success with them in Emacs. Heck, even VS Code has been hit and miss for me. Maybe someone knows a good sln package? The one you mentioned might be worth a try.

Don't worry. The UCP is focussed on the real important issues in schools, like turning teachers into pronoun police. 🙄

If that's the case then perhaps they should have implemented Monero (or something similar), which was designed for, and as far as I know, still provides both anonymity and privacy. Neither of those are properties of BTC.
Or they could have not done this since there are many other wallets that can be used without a paid account that can easily be blocked by such a regime.
Seriously, if you live under the scrutiny of an authoritarian regime, please do not use Bitcoin for anything that might get you into trouble. It is neither anonymous nor private.

I was thinking about switching to Proton but I'll probably just stick with Tutanota now.
Proton's users are probably mostly technical people. They really failed to read the room on this one.

I was being a bit facetious in the wake of Rogers being allowed to buy Shaw.
Of course they should be breaking up the large companies when there's not much competition, but I doubt they'll do much of anything.

And then they'll probably just have Air Canada buy WestJet so they can deliver better value or some shit. That seems to be the way competition goes now.

Conservative marketing seems like its written by someone who just learned about literary devices and has to use alliterations and rhymes everywhere. Sooooo clever. 🙄

When I first read the headline, I thought it was maybe a good thing. Hurray for less military spending! I guess there's maybe one policy I might agree with.
Then I read the article and found the little "woke" nugget you mentioned. Seriously, conservatives are just completely fucked... I know people in the military and it's anything but woke! I'd like to see ANY of these fucking woke-saying assholes do a single day of basic training or handle even a few hours on an exercise!
Of course we all know that "warrior culture" in this context means kicking out anyone who's not a "straight" white male. Because nothing says warrior like being toxicly insecure about ones sexuality.
I just wish it meant bringing in Klingon codes of honour.

In this context the use of "they" is just proper English though. I can't fault someone who speaks a gendered language from using gendered pronouns as is proper in that language, but the use of "they" in English is correct and hardly political or exclusive. Every language is going to have rules that may be strange to non-native speakers, but any "confusion" is easily remedied by explaining that's just how the language works. I find that's also part of the fun of learning another language. I especially love trying to mix the rules of one language into another to see how silly it sounds. :)

Another example of why buying early access isn't great.

I've been using a Glove80 full time for over a year and I love it! It helped with my wrist pain too. I've not used any other ergonomic keyboards other than the Microsoft one, but I'm very happy with this one and see no reason to change.

From the article: > Within the restricted zones are hundreds of oil and gas facilities. One open-pit coal mine in the Rockies is before the provincial regulator and the expansion of another has already been approved. Much of the area has been extensively logged.
I'm starting to get into this band and I'm liking them so far!
In honor of Skinny Puppy's final tour, here's a video that's apparently from one of their earlier tours. One of my favourite bands!
I love the way HEALTH mixes melodic vocals with some cool noise.
I like this album. I've heard they put on a really good live show too.
Does anyone know if the grievance is legitimate? I just got the game and I'm not familiar with the history here, but I am using the original mod in question. I did verify the files as well and they are indeed the same. I'm not even sure how to see if Donation Points are enabled on a particular mod or author's account. I don't mind mod authors getting some kickback if that's an option, but taking someone else's work is rather poor. Edit: Looks like this mod was now taken down. Edit: There's a [forum post](https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/13106577-full-release-mod-fixer/page-41#entry126874296) from the author of the mod in question that mentions talking to the Nexus staff. Hopefully this was all just a bit of unnecessary drama.
This was posted on Hacker News but I thought it was a really cool article explaining how Elliptical Curve Cryptography works.
Reading another post about nuclear missiles reminded me of this webapp. Terrifying but interesting!
Looks like the general release is planned for June 18!
Go Canada! :)
This makes me happy! :) There are a few houses in my city that have gone all in on this and it's absolutely beautiful! We've started a big project at my house to do something similar as well. It's very exciting!
