We are in a federated environment, there can be 1,000 Dell communities and that's ok. One or two will rise to the top. Heck, even Dell.com could stand up a lemmy instance like dell.com/lemmy if they wanted.

To a conservative, freedom is second or third behind respecting authority and corporations are king.
There is a reason they love Trump - he's a wanna be dictator. There's a reason they cheer tax cuts for business and the wealthy while they get screwed.

Four sticks in the ground for corners, then zip ties to hold it all together. Cover the outward flaps with soil or mulch to confuse those rat fckrs.

You are only going to have success with a physical barrier. Consider rat bait boxes, as well keeping up as the traps, but the rats must have a food source next door, so they will never be able to be eradicated by you alone. One rat will destroy your whole crop.
Make a cage out of coated chicken wire. It had to be a box shape, covered on the top as well, it also has to extend outward 1 foot on the ground from the base of the "box."
Visualize a cardboard box with the open side on the ground and the flaps extended on the ground.

Wow, for once I am in agreement with Fox News.

Some people are medically unable to get a vaccine. By making vaccinations optional for public participation groupings, such as schools, they are putting more than these selfish anti vaxination fools at risk.
Innocent people die because of these anti science political decisions.

I don't agree with the ruling, or the sentiment, but making edibles is a periodic process. Smells once per week is a lot different than pot smoke several times per day, every day.

If they are banned on their home instance, then are they banned everywhere? Does it work like an email address, where if your hosting server (Gmail for instance) bans your email address, then you can no longer send or recieve emails?
So if your home lemmy server bans you, then how could you ever post anywhere else?

I don't want a reddit 2.0, I want what lemmy may become on its own.

I agree. Lemmy doesn't have to replace Reddit, it just has to be a working alternative.
Over time Lemmy may gain a much wider audience, but as long as it has enough users to be entertaining and informative, then it will be a good alternative to corporate social media.

Vote. In. Every. Election.
If you know an 18 year old, go to the polls with them. Help get them started. If you know someone whom doesn't vote, convince them to vote.
We outnumber all of these fascists and if we all voted (and I don't care who you vote for) then the power of these billionaire would be severely diminished.

This July I will have owned a Tesla Model Y for 3 years. Charging has never, ever, been an issue.
Plug it in when you get home. Use the navigation when you go on a long trip and it routes you through super chargers. When you are at a supercharger, go get a snack and use the restroom. Come back and you are usually ready to go.
If you live in an apartment or condo with no access to home charging and you don't have a charger near where you work, and there are no superchargers near you, then an electric car isn't for you, yet.

I see your point, but if an office tower is vacant and will never again be occupied, then are the costs to rehab really more than razing the building and starting over?
Admittedly, I'm not that familiar with the code requirements.
