I don't know if that's true, but most of those patents are incredibly iffy, they seem to describe basic functions of how videogames have worked since WoW.
They seem to have tried patenting having a player character that can walk, drive, and fly in a videogame on May 2, 2024.

Half of those patents read like if they use vague enough language they can justify patenting how computers work.

The American Black Cherry (Prunus serotina) is native, it gets upto 80 feet tall.
And while I do have some non-native plants. I'm hoping to fill out the rest of my garden with Native fruit. I have found two native plums to my region(Prunus Niagra and Prunus Americana).
And apparently I've been ignoring a variety of native nuts, though they are all too large. I'm hoping to keep any trees under 30ft, but I'm also planting things that aren't trees.

I'm specifically looking for native fruit. I already have 2 apple trees and a lapin cherry tree.
I'm currently hunting down pawpaw trees, Blueberry bushes, black raspberry, and other native fruits for my garden. Looking for suggestions. I looked into black cherries, but they get too large and too easily wind damaged for the proximity I'd have to plant them to my house.

This was never more than a ploy to launder foreign money, it does feel pretty brazen for the CEO and COO to cash out before Trump.
It seems to me, all the bag holders should have grounds to sue them, I'm sure atleast a few of them will.

That first paragraph is fair enough.
I'd disagree that the microplastic doomer narrative is incorrect, the plastic in the brain is just the newest tidbit. It's already in our kldneys, testicles, placentas, blood, semen, livers and lungs. Even if this study is wrong (which I don't think it is, because its on trend with plastic contamination growth in the rest of our bodies) about how much plastic there is specifically in brains, there's still easily a credit cards worth in our bodies.
Microplastics are killing worms, it is contaminating soil, it is hurting crops, it is killing fish, and studied effects of plastic on other mammals are bad, to the point it seems pointless to confirm it hurts humans in specific ways before doing something about it.
SlippiHUD 4 weeks ago • 100%
What information did I present that was untrue? I guess technically there's more plastic in your brain than required to make a plastic credit card.
Here's additional supporting research.

Agreed. Nevermind all the other places they've found plastic pollution in our bodies.
The average brain weighs 1300-1400 grams. If 0.5% of that is plastic by weight, your brain contains 6.5 - 7 grams of plastic. The average plastic credit card weighs 5 grams. https://www.theguardian.com/environment/article/2024/aug/21/microplastics-brain-pollution-health

Yes, that was my original point, I was responding to the roof door example.
SlippiHUD 4 weeks ago • 100%
Most handles have a part that is the "outside" which goes on the unsecure side of the door. Due to safety the outside of the handle has a way to operate it if it locks. Keys for keyed locks, or a bypass for privacy handles. I was saying if that was the outside of the door, it's not a locking handle it's a passage handle.
The "inside" of a handle is the side that's installed on the secure side of the door, and it's the side you can access the screws that hold the handle on the door. On classroom and storage function handles, they can't control the doors locking state from the inside, but they can always operate the handle to get out.
By unsecured I generally mean the side of the door with the least restricted access. Like the outside of your house when thinking about a front door.

I have no photos or videos, but I was on Topsail Island on vacation on June 4th around 11pm, where I saw a decently bright moving object erupt with a huge v-shaped tail for atleast 30 seconds. The tail was a faint green color. It fell from the eastern sky into the northeastern sky. Google has been particularly unhelpful. Was wondering if you fine folks had any idea. I'm assuming space debris. But I cant find any other reports of anyone seeing it.
