Fair enough. I assumed wrong, we actually think somewhat similarly on the matter

Is it mismanagement if the reason it's only on one console at launch is because the devs want to get each game out as soon as possible, only having to focus on one piece of hardware? They also got more money to make the make the games as big as they are due to making that console the playstation and having Sony invest in timed exclusivity? Seems like a win-win to me. Doesn't stop Sony from having extremely ludicrous metrics in which they expect their games to measure up to though. Which is ultimately why it seems every game they release never meets them.

Only if you keep getting new ones though and doing it DIY is pretty good too. Don't think I'd buy another keyboard again after building my current DIY one. Instead I'll just be designing my own from what I've learned that I've liked with this current one.
MrScottyTay 1 day ago • 100%
This is true. I've gotten to the point where I can now type QWERTY and Colemak-dh on a standard, ortholinear or ortho columnar keyboards with no issues.
MrScottyTay 1 day ago • 100%
Look into DIY keyboards you can get PCBs created of the keyboards you like the look of for pretty cheap nowadays. You just need to be willing to solder, there's not many small bits for keyboards so it's not that hard.
MrScottyTay 1 day ago • 100%
Moving away from qwerty to colemak-dh did more for my tendonitis than the keyboard itself. Having both an ortho linear / columnar stagger keyboard and a better layout is the end goal though. But the layout makes the biggest impact.
Then the next biggest impact will be getting a keyboard with a thumb cluster so you can do more with your thumb in a comfy position rather than your pinkies stretched out to the edges of the keyboard.
MrScottyTay 1 day ago • 100%
Ortholinear is a great gateway into better keyboards and a better layout. I started with a planck and used it to learn colemak-dh. I have since moved to a more DIY split keyboard with a columnar layout which is ortholinear except the volume are staggered to fit the length of fingers better.
This journey has been a godsend in helping my RSI issues from my Dev job.

Why are Sony obsessed with remaking ps4 games? If you're going to dip into an anyway established IP, why not choose one where we haven't had a new game in forever. Like Jak, Sly etc.

VII remakes are way different to the OG. Have you even seen footage of it? The camera is nowhere near the same as the original
MrScottyTay 1 day ago • 71%
I for one am glad they did it. It's breathed so much more life into the world in doing so. OG is a great game but I've been enjoying the remakes way more. And FFVII OG is my favourite RPG and one of the first games I ever played, I used to replay it every other year.

Visions was mint, solo was pretty good once you got past the different actor and the way he got the solo name, i enjoyed parts of obi wan, and until mando showed up and turned it into his show (even though it was probably the best episode) i was enjoying boba.

Yep, main movies are awful everything else they did ranged from good to great (although not watched acolyte). With some better than Lucas' star wars, yet most people act like Disney ruined it. Without Disney, we'd be getting next to no star wars at all.
MrScottyTay 2 days ago • 66%
These kind of comments disregard all of the good things that've came from Disney. Rebels, the end of the clone wars, rogue one, early mando, bad batch, andor and the high republic books and comics.

They did yeah. And the time of day would change throughout the race too which made the night time section quite scary cause you'd have already went through like 15 minutes of racing and now needed to deal with that unique challenge on top of your fatigue (even more so if this wasn't your first attempt)

I love the console games before they became straight up ports of the pc ones. I really really miss them.

Tempeh and vegan cheese (specifically Wensleydale and cranberries) are what initially made me feel like I could easily go vegan. So those two. But also seitan, knowing how to make that is amazing.

The only thing that stops me from playing the sims 2 as my main is that Sims outside of the current household don't age and if you ever achieve platinum status (which is surprisingly easy) there's no challenge in the game anymore. Because needs barely matter anymore.
I was once trying to do a "realistic" run with my sim starting in a trailer park and eventually working my way up the property ladder. I got platinum before i moved out of the trailer.
3 would be the best if it was stable and had the moodlet system of 4. At least for how I want to play the Sims.

These are some solid picks. Grid is probably my favourite game that is closest to being a sim racer. Love doing the 24 heure le mans

Hot pursuit is barely an open world game. There's never a point to find around in the open world, in fact most people might even miss that you can do that.

I love me the PS2 era need for speed games.
Burnout 3 & revenge.
Dirt 2 has one of the best licensed soundtracks for a game, same for the OG Forza Horizon.
Modern ones, even horizon 4 and 5 feel very hollow compared to these in my opinion.
Super Woden GP 2 is an outlier to that though.

The ps5's ui is enough if all you care about is getting the game you're currently playing. Just like how the switch is. Plus astro's playroom and astro bot could've been the only games for the ps5 and I'd still say that the price was well worth it, in fact, playroom is what made me really want a ps5 there and then instead of waiting around.

They need to reform vicarious by pulling out who remained from blizzard and attempting to rehire anyone who since left. Merging that studio with blizzard was one of the biggest mistakes Activision made, especially after the massive hit that thps 1+2 was

This bit is a bit fucked up:
What happens if my brother gets banned for cheating while playing my game?
If a family member gets banned for cheating while playing your copy of a game, you (the game owner) will also be banned in that game. Other family members are not impacted.

I've made a Christmas dinner pizza with a stuffing and gravy stuffed crust. Just have fun with the food you eat. Why be boring and keep things "authentic"?
I did a similar charity skate challenge last year with a goal of 50km with me finishing at 80km. This year my overtime goal is 150km if I get enough good weather to push myself beyond the 100km. Millington's Magical Barn are a lovely vegan ran animal sanctuary that currently look after around 90 animals that were victims of neglect, abuse or were headed towards slaughter. At Millington's they wil be looked after for the lenght of their long natural life. They even look after a few disabled animals too. Please donate if you believe in this cause, as well as motivating me to push myself further fitness wise!
I long for the days of yore, but I never really got into MMOs until WOW and I've always been jealous heating the stories of people playing MMOs prior. At some point in the future I'm going to be making an XP era PC build where I plan to play some older games from my childhood as well and any MMOs from that era that I missed out on Also going to try and get properly into FFXI at some point too but I'm wanting to hear other suggestions too. I've tried everquest but the way they center the character in the 3rd person view starts to mess with my motion sickness a bit feeling like I have to look at the ground a lot more than I'd normally prefer.
