Hey I was wondering which stratagem you tried out on a whim but ended up really liking? I've been switching it up especially since I read that EAT spam can mess up missions, as that was one of my go-tos. For me it has to be the gatling barrage. It peppers a concentrated area and can hurt all enemies from what I've seen. I love using it for Breach suppression and yesterday I didn't see anyone shoot any rockets, so I swear it knocked down a dropshop on an elimination mission. Its use case is definitely limited, but when that case is present those repeated explosions feel nice to see.

I mean if it is a bell curve, even an average person is smarter than half the world. There's a selection bias on social media because those heated and ignorant threads get memed and shared either by people who believe the nonsense or by outrage.

It does. Biden is able to get away with being toothless and doing things like continuing to build the border wall. It feels like his only redemption is he's not Trump. I will vote my mind during the primaries but if it's Biden, I'm gonna hate that I have to vote for him simply because the alternative is worse.

The fact that they got the twerk animation to be so realistic gives me confidence that they're raising the bar and putting in the work on this game. Also every rule 34 modder is gonna take full advantage of this

That's the thing. Chiropractic could be considered a manual treatment which is a therapeutic modality. PTs do manual therapies that are less traumatic and are one component of the musculoskeletal issues that contribute to pain that chiro claims to heal. For most situations of acute back pain they resolve in 4 to 6 weeks so even the ineffective treatments appear to help- it's just like treatments for the common cold.

It is taught and Civil Rights is taught, but we didn't really learn about ongoing injustices against the black community (redlining and imminent domain, racial biases in the war on drugs, sund9wn towns, etc.) so US history classes painted a picture of it all being largely over with.

The fact that you can try harder in deep dives was pretty neat. They're experimenting outside of what had been routine for seasons and I appreciate it. The witness reveal should have been in Lightfall. I get they wanted story cohesion with the campaign as opposed to being a whole side-story but withholding story beats that would have helped Lightfall's story wasn't the move. Maybe if we saw glimpses of the Witness being formed from a civilization with more elaboration it would have been better received.
That savathun one was a good conclusion and lead-in. Enough of a cliffhanger without feeling incomplete.

I had loved this game when I had gamepass and when I saw it was available on Android with bonus episodes. The turn based game has a lot of replayability with characters that play differently and different episodes which remix the rules and abilities. The soundtrack is my favorite part because it's the right blend of chiptunes and killer sax riffs. It's currently 5 bucks. I got it for free between google rewards and play store points from subscriptions, but I'd have paid for it because of my enjoyment on gamepass.

For sure, but I am cynical about people's convictions when it comes to their sources of leisure and free time. I see it in all places. Folks are gonna watch the new flash even though doing so will help Miller's career. Activision/Blizzard has proven to be horrendous and for those that don't care about that, they also underdelivered on overwatch 2. Diablo 4, however, is the best selling game in the series. Even back in the day folks had wanted to boycott left 4 dead 2 only for them to end up buying it anyways.
Things like that make me hopeful, but my optimism is tempered.

Thanks! It is very involved from planning to actually doing the work and deciding how you want it to look. Some edging serves as a retaining wall which means there's a lot more to do. I called 811 first to get the utility lines marked and after that I sprayed my line. My plan was to trench as close to 8.5 inches as possible at each level. That's 3.5 inches for paver base, 1 inch for sand, and then 4 inches for the stone. The incline was the most annoying part because if it wasn't a 2 foot height difference I wouldn't have to have been extra meticulous.
I used my levels to mark the depth as i went and then used crushed concrete as the paver base. Tamped it down then laid the 1 inch of sand. I set the pavers down on the stretch of sand and used both my torpedo level and 30 inch level to get em right. Once the pavers fell below the soil level I'd do the step up using the top of the previous paver level as where the next level's sand would end, so the paver base would start approximately 4.5 inches below the top of the lower level. Some areas did not get as much paver base due to sprinkler lines. Also because of the sprinkler lines I did not use a trenching shovel and used a spade and transfer shovel with some slow digging if I felt resistance.
After it was done I double checked the leveling, using sand for any wobbling and putting it in between the cracks. There's enough gapping that water will drain through. I had extra paver base so I used that for the backfill to help further prevent any shifting.
Some of the resources that I remember:

Between work, the heat, and dealing with clay soil this took way too long to complete! I love how it turned out. The next step is using a hoe to slope the soil over the gravel, tamp it down, and plant some sedum ternatum for groundcover.
