No! I was surprised that I solved a word with the first random one, and dumbfounded that I solved a second word at random, too. If only this kind of luck translated to real life xD

See, I can understand this as a person of Irish descent, the only two jobs open to me are potato farming and step dancing. My grandparents did vaudeville when they immigrated to the US, but I'm pretty sure they stole that job.

I live in one of those sparsely populated states, I have to drive 5 hours one way to see a neurologist. Because the one that is two hours away only sees a small number of veterans due to the way the VA pays them.
Thank you for the offer of help, I now have 100% disability with the VA and I'm also on ssdi. Good luck helping your veteran, and please appeal when the VA gives them a rating. They like to lowball us, I was given 70% after my first c&p.

I have triwest, which is the veteran version of tricare. I'm totally fucked trying to find care in an already sparse Healthcare provider state.
The government says well this service was only worth xxx in 2000 so that's what we'll pay. And then they act all shocked when none of us can find care

It went through the book. I don't know if a bullet proof vest can stop a 50 cal fired from a foot away either tbh, but definitely like you're saying it won't prevent injury

I have hEDS. Moist heat pads are my go to after injury. That sounds gross but I feel like it helps the heat penetrate. A hugely helpful thing was a script for a muscle relaxer though. I get muscle spasms around the joints that slip the most (probably my body trying to hold everything together lol). My friend who also has EDS swears by a passionflower/cbd gummy for muscle relaxing, so maybe try that until you can get a prescription.
Physical therapy helps, too, and you can probably find one who will do video appointments.
Canes are pretty cheap, and they make collapsible ones. My hip and knee heal a lot faster when I use a cane after a dislocation. I don't really care for braces, but my friend really loves them, so ymmv. I much prefer using kt tape for stabilization. There's lots of guides on placement online. Just make sure you keep some oil on hand for when you're ready to remove the tape. Hypermobilty often comes with very sensitive skin that tears easily

Wow! I'm in undergrad and designing a research project right now that is specifically looking for a relationship between hydrocarbons from vehicle fluids and density of a microbiome in soil. It's a little more involved than that, but I am just really glad this article is drawing attention to soils in particular.
Everything is interconnected, and bacteria and fungi colonies (for example) are just as important as plants and animals in the food web. We depend on a large diversity of organisms, and that diversity is something that has been rapidly declining.

Every body/brain is different. I tried three other meds for adhd before I landed on a combo that works for me. Strattera was extremely bad for me, but I know it's amazing for other people. Sometimes you don't really have a choice but to go through a few meds before you find one that works and is tolerable

Wellbutrin definitely helped me much more than any other medication classified as an antidepressant. I think if I had known it was helping my undiagnosed adhd at the time I would have stayed on it, but it didn't do shit for my depression lol.
I have never had to wait for a dose of Adderall or Vyvanse since I got diagnosed 2 years ago, and i actually have an extra month of them at the moment. I'm not sure if this is location or pharmacy specific, all my meds come from the VA.

I have two perspectives to this. I once had several male Indian roommates and I honestly don't remember them having a scent beyond "male". I could pick up turmeric from one of them, but I think he used a turmeric toothpaste.
I'm white and afab (not on t at the time) and a decade after having those roomies, I had a half-Indian friend tell me I smell like her dad lol. I think curry odor might just stick to clothing, I make it a few times a week so I'm sure my whole house smells like curry to outsiders at this point

I served with several who were trying to gain citizenship that way. I never thought to ask how they found out about it, I was always more interested in learning what they loved about here and missed from their home countries lol.
There's also the chance that they'll get deported after service because they weren't given adequate support for PTSD and/or TBI.

Testosterone can increase iron absorption. I don't think menstruation plays enough of a role reducing that given how little blood is lost for the average person. I've read about people who have been recommended that they donate blood to lower theirs. So to put some numbers up, most menstruation is between 25-30ml while a blood donation is about 500ml. You can donate blood a little under every two months

Woah! I really dig this! Thanks for posting. One of the many things I really miss about Seattle is the local availability of wide musical styles.
I used to spend weekends at a music venue/alternative living space there and the random jams were such a great thing to fall asleep to lol. This strongly reminded me of that, though it's been at least a decade since I was there

Leaf tips turning brown is usually water stress, which definitely fits with the plant shedding green leaves. I would try watering a little more frequently for sure. Lots of luck with your next one!
FoxyFerengi 1 month ago • 100%
It would help if you had some pictures of the leaves before they fell to rule other things out, but it looks like a blight to me. That spreads by spores entering injured plant tissue. That's why you see the plant producing resin, it's trying to block off the sites where leaves fell so the disease doesn't spread to other areas.
It could definitely be injury from water stress, but could also be temperature stress if you have large fluctuations in anbient temp throughout the day. I kind of wonder if watering by placing the pot in a tub would be more beneficial? Plants will sometimes take up more water that way, but with the mix you have it won't be staying in the substrate long enough to cause rot

I didn't say it was safe! Just safer than minoxidil :) The oil is usually meant to be used as a pre-wash treatment, so it's not going to sit on your head all day like minoxidil, further reducing the risk of contact with pets.
FoxyFerengi 1 month ago • 100%
It's also much safer to use around cats than topical minoxidil is!
I had used the Ace Date Space discord with limited success, but now that it's dissolved I don't know where to look.
