So I have it set to disabled within the user, and as an overall setting, but they still show as default. I'm not sure why

Edit: looked through the settings again and realised I didn't have them set to "none" they were set to "default". Switched that setting and all working correctly now.

Interestingly I don't have a problem with how subtitles look, but the fact they are always on by default is my biggest headache!

This is how I use it and it's been rock solid for ages! Can even pass pihole through it so you get no ads when out and about.

I didn't think about it being a sync issue, I am accessing this through lemmy.ml (I think that's how it works) For completeness, I took a screenshot showing what I can see....it is long though!!
