I like tuta.com (formerly Tutanota). The mobile app is really simple—so much so that they've only recently added a red and blue themed dark mode. Aside from that, I have never encountered any problems in my few years of using it.
They offer both free and paid plans. I recently decided to subscribe to Tuta to support their project, although in previous years the free plan worked fine for me.
For me, it was that the Internet never forgets and that you should never enter your real name. In my opinion, both of these rules are now completely ignored.

Good point, but still I want to play a game.
Hey everyone! I’m looking for some casual games to play while I’m on a call with a friend. I want something super chill that doesn’t require too much focus or brainpower. I’ve tried Shapez.io, but it felt a bit too complex for what I’m looking for. Minecraft vanilla survival is also a no-go since it demands a bit more attention than I want to give right now. Any recommendations for games that are easy to pick up and play, where I can just relax and enjoy the conversation without getting too caught up in the gameplay? Thanks in advance!
Hello everyone So I have a rather unusual fear of butterflies and a fear of darkness. The first one is definitely the fear that has confused lots of people in my life. I can't explain it, for some reason I am just afraid of them. If one even comes near me, I completely freak out. The latter is a rather childish fear of mine. I don't know why I'm afraid of the darkness specifically, but I know that I can't stand it. So what are your fears?

Image Toolbox Its a photo editor with everything you need. Its really really powerful and so fleshed out. Everytime I use it, I discover something new. The only sad thing is, that I can't donate in XMR otherwise I've would of donated. If you have an android, download it and try it. It's a must have on any phone imo.

Tails is easily the distro which surprised me the most. This is because, even tough I would rate myself a well aware privacy advocate, I didn't expect to see a full suite of privacy tools. I somehow just expected, that it would be just the Tor Browser and nothing more. I don't know what I thought tough. I need to mention, that Tails was one of my first distros I've used so I was kind of mindblown that all these tools could fit onto a USB Thumb drive.

I tried this but my signal isn't strong enough to get thorugh the walls. In some classrooms it works, but it's more like a 50/50 chance to stay connected.

I have gotten in trouble for using a VPN I'm the past but it was just a little talk and then they were cool with it. The thing is, that it is my device and at the school I don't have a strong enough signal for my phone. So I can't just make a hotspot and use that as WiFi. I need to use the WiFi to get my things done but I will not use the WiFi if I can't protect my privacy. I know that this sounds pretty stupid but I won't comply with my school.

It is my own laptop. If I could, I would use tails constantly as I do at Home but the school enforces MS356 which doesn't work on Linux. The thing that upsets me the most is that I used happily my VPN for one and a half years and out of nowhere it got blocked. I had some discussions with the school, because I thought that this is a really dumb move. But they refused to unblock it, but still it was an attempt.

I don't know where to find the policy regarding the network. The computer isn't school property, I own it which is more frustrating because I have to uninstall (Just disabeling it and the Killswitch won't work) any VPN to start using the network.
Hi everyone, I'm currently facing some frustrating restrictions with the public Wi-Fi at my school. It's an **open** Wi-Fi network without a password, but the school has implemented a firewall (Fortinet) that blocks access to certain websites and services, including VPNs like Mullvad and ProtonVPN. This makes it difficult for me to maintain my privacy online, especially since I don't want the school to monitor me excessively. After uninstalling Mullvad, I tried to download it again, but I found that even a search engine (Startpage) is blocked, which is incredibly frustrating! Here’s what happened: - The Wi-Fi stopped working when I had the VPN enabled. - I disabled the VPN, but still couldn't connect. - I forgot the Wi-Fi network and reset the driver, but still no luck. - I uninstalled the Mullvad, and then the Wi-Fi worked again. - I tried to access Startpage to search for an up-to-date package for Mullvad, but it was blocked. - I used my phone to get the software file and sent it over, but couldn't connect. - I searched for different VPNs using DuckDuckGo, but the whole site was blocked. - I tried searching for Mullvad, but that was blocked too. - I attempted to use Tor with various bridges, but couldn't connect for some unknown reason. - I finally settled for Onionfruit Connect, but it doesn't have a kill switch, which makes me uneasy. Ironically, websites that could be considered **harmful**, like adult content, **gambling** sites and online gaming sites, are still accessible, while **privacy-tools** are blocked. I'm looking for advice on how to bypass these firewall restrictions while ensuring my online safety and privacy. Any suggestions or alternative methods would be greatly appreciated! (If any advice is something about Linux, it could be a Problem, since my school enforces Windows 11 only PC's which is really really igngamblingThanks in advance for your help edit: did some formatting edit2: It is my device, which I own and bought with my own money. I also have gotten in trouble for connecting to tor and searching for tor, but I stated that I only used it to protect my privacy. Honestly I will do everything to protect my privacy so I don't care if I will get in trouble. edit 3: Thanks for the suggestions, if I haven't responded yet, that's because I don't know what will happen.

A few years back I worked at a home. They organised the whole data structure but needed to move to another Providor. I and my colleagues moved roughly just about 15.4 TB. I don't know how long it took because honestly we didn't have much to do when the data was moving so we just used the downtime for some nerd time. Nerd time in the sense that we just started gaming and doing a mini LAN party with our Raspberry and banana pi's.
Surprisingly the data contained information of lots of long dead people which is quiet scary because it wasn't being deleted.

The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass. Still one of my favourites. The only problem is, that my DS Lite has seen better days. I'm currently hoping that some new handhelds will come out with a dual-display. I know that Ayaneo has one but I don't want the latest and greatest Ryzen, I mean phantom hourglass works perfectly with an Nvidia Tegra chip or something from that generation.

I've been robbed twice. The first time was a classic trick. One day after school, I was trading Pokémon cards as usual. I had just received a new pack and went to the kid who checked for fake cards. He told me that one card, the Kyogre EX, was fake. I was suspicious because I had mentioned that Kyogre was one of my favorites. He explained that the redness on the back and the paper thickness were off. I trusted him and showed him my entire collection, keeping the Kyogre. After chatting for a bit, I took my book and went home.
The next day, I did the same thing, but when I got home, my entire collection was gone. My mom called some teachers, and it was a big deal because losing something as a kid feels devastating. A few weeks later, the kid approached me and said he found something in the boys' locker. I checked, and it was my collection, but my beloved Kyogre and Pikachu were missing. I asked him directly why he took those two cards, and he denied it. He offered to trade me for "similar" cards. I agreed, lost five cards, but got my two favorites back.
The second time I was robbed was about two years ago. A seemingly legitimate Amazon delivery driver rang my doorbell, handed me my package, and started making small talk about how beautiful my lawn was and how he wanted someone to make his lawn look like mine. At that moment, I had no idea what was happening. I later suspected that my bike and skis were taken and stuffed into the delivery van. To clarify, it wasn't an Amazon Prime delivery, but it looked similar because of the blue color.
After the small talk, he said goodbye, and I checked my package. To my surprise, it was an old book, like the free ones libraries give away. I felt something was off, but since I’m not a morning person, I went to work without thinking much about it. When I got home and went through my usual routine, I felt like I had forgotten something. I remembered the Amazon guy and the package, and then I realized that Amazon doesn’t ship to my country. I know that sounds like an important detail to forget, but I can be pretty forgetful.
Confused, I checked my lawn and then turned my home upside down, quickly noticing my bike and skis were missing. The bike wasn’t a huge loss since I didn’t ride much, but it still hurt because bikes aren’t cheap. The skis were particularly upsetting because they were a gift from someone very important to me. Luckily, my insurance covered everything, but the sentimental value can never be replaced. The police were informed, and some of my neighbors were also missing items.
Hello Everybody I've been encountering a recent occurred Problem with my installation of Debian 12. When I plug in my Phone (Fairphone 4) to transfer some large files, it won't get recognized, which is odd because I do this every few Weeks and since a couple of months this keeps happening. It will something like: `Malformed URL mtp:udi=/org/kde/solid/udev/sys/devices/pci0000:00/0000:00:14.0/usb2/2-7/.` Or `Unable to open MTP device "002,086".` I've installed gMTP, but that won't recognize my devices either. I also tried to manually go to the media and mnt directory but found nothing. Likewise, I switched cables, Phones and USB Ports. At first, I thought it was a Dolphin issue because when I switched to the Thunar File Manager everything seemed to be flawless, but now it's even occurring on Thunar. These are my Specs if it helps. - OS: Debian 12 bookworm - Kernel: x86_64 Linux 6.1.0-21-amd64 - DE: KDE 5.103.0 / Plasma 5.27.5 - CPU: Intel Core i7-4790 @ 8x 4GHz - GPU: GeForce 720 Any Comments or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Hey everyone, I'm facing an issue with KDE Plasma 5 on Debian 12. Whenever I skip a song on Spotify, the notification sound plays. I've come across suggestions in other forums to simply mute notifications, but I still want to receive notifications. Therefore, muting notifications is not an option for me. I have disabled all Spotify notifications in the notification manager, yet I'm unsure how the sound still persists. I don't want to disable notification sounds in the Plasma Workspace, as mentioned earlier. Any insights or solutions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance! In my culture, it is almost weird for men to have feelings. Everybody knows that men aren't emotionless machines, but they sometimes forget that. So you can guess that hugging a man as a man is somewhat weird. Before COVID, it was common to give handshakes; after that, pretty much every interaction stopped. Yes, I would really wish that it became more socially accepted. Because I think, When everybody interacts on a physical level, people will be less tense and more relaxed.
Edit: Well I need to correct myself, I think it is not really a social problem, but it rather is a me problem. I'm not very comfortable with touching somebody so it could be that I've been ignoring those interactions for years.

As far as my knowledge goes, she went to a private school then got pregnant with, like, 20 or 19-ish. Then she did lose a little control of her life. But I think that she might've been successful with her career and may have gotten her life under control.
I don't know if she was the smartest kid, but she definitely got good grades. My class was honestly full of lazy people, including me. I've changed a lot, so I would say that I would now be the smartest kid, because I was one of the first who actually did realize how tough life is.
