Ah right. I like those, they go well with the livery. No colour clash.

Sponsor integration or just liveries? I don't remember any noteworthy sponsor integrations, but Alfa Romeo did have some very nice liveries. Especially special one-off designs like for Monza or Las Vegas.
Coelacanth 7 hours ago • 100%
I think they're a fine idea for sponsor integration (like the Williams Duracell battery airbox), but to my eyes at least the colors often clash with the livery in a way I don't enjoy.

It's sad that the best response to Trump's bizarre accusation of "she wants to give everyone health care" would be "fuck yeah I do!" but she for some reason thinks it will scare off swing voters and leans into the classic Dem instinct of tucking to the center.

I can't really find any fault in the judge's reason personally, especially since I assume this would lead to him being a registered sex offender. It might just be a genius idea from the defence lawyer, but it's not inconceivable - especially if he is indeed a painter.

That last injury he got still haunts me. He was just slated to make a return to the National Team, he looked like he was recovering and would have the chance to end his career on a positive note. And then just fizzled out. I understand he wanted to prove everyone wrong and show that he refuses to let his knee decide his fate from the season before, but I kind of wish he had retired after the title winning season. He deserved to go out with a bang, not a whimper.
I still miss watching him play. One of the most unique players ever, always a showman and still an incredible physical specimen that did things in his late 30s people half his age would struggle with.

His followers don't care. They probably didn't even watch the debate anyway, and even if they did it's been abundantly clear for years now that millions of Americans - for some inexplicable reason - will choose to believe Trump's words over the evidence of facts, their own memories and even their own direct sensory input.

I've tried to watch TMR but it never really clicked for me. I do like Sam but the younger half of the cast doesn't do it for me. It also sometimes feels a little smugly leftist echo-chambery.

Besides the fact that macro- and microeconomics are vastly different, his multiple bankruptcies should give you ample evidence that economy is the last thing to trust him on. It's amazing how little facts matter, and how many people take him at his word. I never realised ActLikeYouBelong would work on this scale, but apparently just claiming you're a genius billionaire is enough for millions of people.

My main complaints with the game that I'd like to see fixed would probably be beyond the scope of the term "remaster". The facial animations during dialogue were pretty uncanny in the base game, but they're good in the DLC and sequel.
To me this feels like perfectly within the scope of what should be the realm of "remaster", it's just that history teaches us to expect less.

I haven't personally been a victim to this, but I think it's good for the health of the game overall. Curious to hear what aspiring pros/high rank players think of it. It certainly created a unique meta and required some skilled execution to pull off, but it also would lead to insanely snowbally games with the proficient team sometimes tripling the other team in net worth.

In addition to all the legal issues already brought up, there is also the fact that Trump is straight up lying about this - as usual of course. He is one of the most extreme narcissists known to the history of man. Being and/or running for president is giving him an absolutely limitless faucet of attention to wrap his fat lips around and suckle like the runt who finally managed to kick the rest of the piglets out of the litter. He is helplessly addicted to it. It's like heroin to him.

Those are all factors, and brainwashing is also a problem. But beyond that, Trumpism is to a certain extent the logical conclusion of the American culture. He represents a perverted yet unabashed and clear representation of the American Dream - at least the illusion of Trump does.
The me-first thinking, the worship of capitalism, the shameless revelry in gaudy displays of tasteless wealth - it's all there. It's completely unsurprising to me that someone like him would appeal to a lot of Americans. There are a lot of people who idolise and wish they themselves could be like the image he projects.

Out of every 10 games I play, maybe one of them is a close, even game where everyone is on roughly the same skill level - and that's probably me being generous. Almost every game has people on either team not just losing their lane but going something like 0-17. I know it's early alpha and has had a huge influx of players recently so maybe it's to be expected to some extent, but even back in my Dota days matchmaking was never this bad. This is like, public WC3 Dota 1 lobbies level. How are you guys finding it? Anyone break through the MMR barrier into a point where you're getting consistently good games? How long did it take, and what MMR? (you can check [here](http://tracklock.gg/)

> Three weeks into her presidential run was the first time the Biden campaign’s pollsters — now hers — held a deep-dive call with Kamala Harris’ inner circle to discuss what she’s been saying on the stump. > Over the line came a lot of praise, but also some suggested tweaks. First, said veteran Democratic numbers man Geoff Garin, summarizing their analysis, stop saying, “We’re not going back.” It wasn’t focused enough on the future, he argued. Second, lay off all the “weird” talk — too negative. Yes, stop using the two approaches that has been most effective. Absolute genius. I can't for the life of me see why the Dems have a reputation of shooting themselves in the foot. EDIT: Thankfully Kamala trusted her instincts and has had the good sense to ignore said advice so far

**[[Watch the full video on YouTube]](https://youtu.be/ZD-oTJ49nls?si=cWDqQn71Fe35pkdN)** O’Donnell ripped cable news networks for carrying the event live and called it “2016 all over again,” adding that outlets are making the “same mistakes” with their reporting as they did while covering Trump that election cycle. He also criticized reporters for not asking follow-up questions and knocked networks for fact-checking only after Trump finished speaking. ... O’Donnell also knocked networks for not covering Vice President Kamala Harris’ Michigan speech live after the Trump presser, noting that his network was doing Olympics coverage before bringing viewers the last few minutes of her remarks. **EDIT:** Changed link target to comply with community rules.
An absolutely insane display of grit, adrenaline and the power of being pushed by the crowd. I think he's never put up a time below 3:30, and now clocks in at 3:27.65, setting an Olympic record in the process.
Let's see if this community still is active. I'm not sure if it's officially agreed upon, but I would say the release of Doom in '93 properly marked the *beginning* of a golden age of PC gaming. Modern homogenisation and monetisation hadn't set in yet and over the next decade or so the PC gaming landscape would be full of innovation and passion, with a sea of classics being released in that time frame... but when did it end? Was there a specific watershed game that signalled a shift in the landscape? This topic has been on my mind for a while, because I've pondered on whether there is an open niche for a community dedicated to games of this era. They're not quite at home in Retro Gaming subs, but still old enough now that they might warrant their own corner separate from main gaming spaces.
You would expect Saudi to go all out and not let themselves be outdone on spectacle by Miami and Vegas, but this is more than even I expected. That turn one is straight out of Mario Kart.
I liked the idea of this weekly a lot, but the balance was off and the Strawberry strategy was way too dominant. And the lack of Waffles and/or Flying Squirrel made Toy strategies extremely frustrating. I didn't have that much fun this week and am glad to see it go, to be honest.
That was one of the craziest penalty shootouts I've ever seen. Heartbreaking for USA.

While strawberry seems the easiest path to victory, it was fun to see if I could squeeze all three into a team. Sadly I never got a third Strawberry in the shop.
Framework laid out by Skoottie and works surprisingly consistently. Amass Hedgehogs early to get a bunch of draws, hard roll for Lioness as early as possible (use Stoat, Alpaca and lvl 2 Blobfish+Pill to get it leveled ASAP). When your shop is 50/50 you set up Catfish+Anglerfish and freeze waffles in the shop. When you have your level 3 sloth, use Cuttlefish and/or Goose to break the 50/50 team deadlock and win.
I'm not particularly worried about whether BG3 will be *good* or not since D:OS 1&2 were both excellent, but I'm a little worried about it feeling like a Baldur's Gate game and not Divinity: Dungeons and Dragons. How is the writing style and atmosphere? Does the story connect in any meaningful way? Are there any recurring major characters, hopefully even potential party members? In short, does it feel like a Baldur's Gate game?
