Someone posted an article reviewing the year and this made me think of a "wikipedia year in review" or the wiki page for 2021: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2021 You can check the infogalactic entry for comparison: infogalactic.com/info/2021 but they forked in like 2016 maybe and so some of their material isn't updated since that time, their article in contrast is basically the article that existed before 2021

some people on teh redditalternatives sub think this might push a lot of people off reddit, there's about a 50% chance they'll do something to really screw up the site I suspect wolfballs will just keep growing, and maybe some other lemmy instances like it will come in to existence if they aren't already (redditalternatives people have also been encouraging more people to start lemmy instances I see)
