Hello world! as the title says the server is **BACK**! It is hosted under a new server! The same map and your inventory is the same! Domain is the same: minecraft.lemmy.world Bedrock: minecraft.lemmy.world:1027 Please note: The new server is hosted in the USA so if you are joining from the EU please expect higher than before ping! This can not be avoided as the generous hoster doesnt have a server in the EU. The generous hoster is [@JonsJava@lemmy.world](https://lemmy.world/u/JonsJava), thanks to him all this is possible. I just wanted to ask what are you doing on the server currently? Is there something we could do? If there is a need for a reset? Changes with the plugins? Other version wanted? Old school mc?
Hi i will make it a short one! We created a new modpack server ( [Steampunk](https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/modpacks/steam-punk) ) it is available under minecraft.lemmy.world:26565. The whitelist is active and you need to dm me here, discord or matrix your minecraft username to whitelist you on there. Note: The survival server is still up and they both have enough ressources!
Hello world! as probably many seen in the recent weeks, there was a decline on active users on the server and we want to ask **you** what we can do or what are the next games you want to play with the lemmy community! The choices are: 1. Minecraft with a new Modpack ( please recommend us a modpack you want to play with the lemmy community ) 2. A different game? 3. Shut it down forever?! 4. Your idea?! Note: If possible we will still let the current vanilla server running ( but with reduced dedicated resources). Thanks for everyone participated in the minecraft server! We never anticipated it was so active and so enthusiastic from everyone participating! Hi. Just wondering if anyone knows if/when the server will be coming back online? I know it's been pretty quiet in the server recently, but I sure hope this isn't a permanent goodbye to it, as there's a lot of really cool stuff on there, and the community vibe was second-to-none. Is it just a little break until interest picks up again? Edit: it's up again as of around Jan 12th. The server basically went down and nobody either realized it or knew what was going on. Thanks to those who run the server. It's very much appreciated, and now we know to ping you guys if it happens again. :-) Edit 2: to clarify, nobody let the admins know that the server was down, so they didn't know there was a problem.

Hi all! So I've been thinking, about how cool would it be if we could have different kinds of player heads to expand our builds. While searching for something like this, I came across a plugin called [CraftHeads](https://www.spigotmc.org/resources/craftheads.59481/) that does just this. This could be a really nice thing to have since it would allow the players to add small details to their builds, or decorate their place. Another thing regarding this is it would be a good idea, if it's possible, to set a price for the heads so people couldn't just have 100s of them around their place. So yeah I would like to request/ suggest this or a similar plugin to be added to the server. ok thx :)
Me and a few friends do a regular co-op games night once a week and we've just finished up our last game (Valheim). So we're turning to Minecraft. We like to play games to "completion" so in for minecraft that would be killing the ender dragon without using cheats. Is that possible on this server? I can see there's a few mods installed but hoping they wouldn't be game breaking.

When I click a block it says second point at x y z. Do I need 2/4 points? How can I know where is it claimed? How can I unclaim it?
Hey, so I have some issues when playing on the server for the last few hours. 1. I'm often stuck in the elytra fly animation and can not get out of it. 2. I get kicked by the server after about a minute of being logged on Vanilla no mods. Not having this issue with other servers. Thx! https://imgur.com/a/0H66dc4

Hello everybody! As announced in the last weekly update we are proud to open the doors to the event area of this years halloween building contest! In spawn you will see a portal (to hell) where you get teleported to the event area. There you can see more informations and the area where you can build. Everybody gets some starting coins. ( 400 credits ) So that you dont go empty out of it if you have claimed something during the event. To claim those ask a mod or admin. See you there!
Here we go again! Reporting to you the news of the Minecraft server! We gained some new members, new buildings and some great experience! This update will be special! As we announce the first ever build event of the server the theme is Spooky Halloween ( What a big surprise ;) ). The event will start on Monday the 23.10.2023 and a portal will raise near spawn and send you to the building start area! The prizes are going to be some item prizes, like good enchanted diamond armor, diamonds, netherite and other rewards will be announced at the end! You even get an entry prize for joining the event! Hey all! I've been thinking about this, and it seems that others would also like a way to be able to make money. Right now, at least to my knowledge, the only way to make money is by playing, which feels like a really passive method. I think that adding some form of shop plugin could help this. Having a shop plugin that would enable players to create chest shops where you could sell, and others could buy would be a wonderful addition. This would: - Keep the same rate of income for the whole server. ie. No extra money would enter the economy - Be a more active way to earn money since you could put up shop and sell stuff - Give players another way to spend their money - I think that it would also benefit people who can't play as much, but still want to build cool stuff. for example, if they had a shop that they set up, then they could make money even if they were away for days. They wouldn't have to be on the server to get more money. Of course, this is just my opinion, so I would like to hear the server's. Do you agree, disagree or maybe you think another way would be better?

There goes another week! It has been a blast, once again. We've seen the members increase, and even seen a bunch of players coming under the regular and active categories 🤩. The spawn town has gained a bunch of progress and has expanded into new sizes! Again, we never imagined to get this amount of players on the server, especially since everyone has been quite nice to each other so far. ::: spoiler Here are some pictures of the week;            ::: We are also planning on a spook scary Halloween event, with a spoooooky scary building competition and MORE. # Weekly MC Update #1 Wow, what a start! We never expected this amount of players to join this server. According to our stats, over 165 unique players have joined the server over the last week, with a peak of 18 players at the same time and there was not a minute where 0 players were only in the last week! We have learned a lot from you on how to run an effective Minecraft server, like editing the java start commands, changing some performance settings in the settings and much more! It has also been awesome to look at what the community has build together, and we hope that this trust and cooperation continues in the next days to follow! We are still developing this server as time goes, so we still want your help whenever you can. 😁 What we have done: - Started using PurPur - Upgraded from EssentialsX to CMI - Upgraded from Griefprevention to Residencial - Made some tutorials on how to use Residencial in /help 2 or trough [this video](https://play-my.video/w/no6TyFU264UAN2FfWjMFVa). - Lowered the RAM and CPU usage - Lowered the MSPT (milliseconds per tick) substantially - Fixed some Anti Cheat Plugin issues We are also going to include some pictures primarily around spawn, but also some noteworthy buildings outside of the "spawn area", throughout these updates.
