I'm not entirely sure if this game fits the theme of the sub; I just came across y'all accidentally. This is an interesting android game that uses stereo sound to "display" a 2-d environment through which the player moves by swiping on their phone. There's nothing at all on the screen. As a sighted player, it's quite a challenge for me to focus on this method of interaction. I'd be curious what other gamers, sighted or otherwise, think of it.
The only one I've ever played is Be The Wumpus, and that was more of a demo. (Sighted person)
Hi there, I haven't played many games recently, and I'm looking for new titles. At the moment I'm more interested in mainstream games with accessibility for totally blind players (which I am) but if there are some fun specific audiogames I'd be curious too. My favourite genres involve RPGs and strategy, preferably turn-based but RTS is ok too.
