Yes. You could use mailgun.com for example for sending mails. You get 10K free I believe and it's easy to setup
For the hostname aka domain change it to your own, likewise with passwords for each installed service. Like the docs say, most services are additional and not required ;-)

Heya all! @stux@mstdn.social here (surprise, surprise!) I've changed the u.fail domain from Kbin to Lemmy since Kbin is still in very early development and I would like to use this awesome domain (giggles) For now we only need to fix a weird email issue but everything else should work fine!
