Well-deserved! 🫡
I finished watching it last night... I thought it was an incredible satire of US imperialism. Very funny and deeply disturbing, often at the same time. Hopefully it will get some libs to start thinking.

I watched the whole thing. I liked it a lot. It hits like an anarchist fantasy (in the best possible way).

What I mean is that I move from task to task in a very short amount of time even though the tasks may be completely unrelated. I find it positive emotionally and productively to allow myself the freedom to change tasks if that's what I find will be beneficial for me at the time, rather than feeling bored or persisting while for the sake of it. I find it works for me personally. It allows me to enjoy my work more and be more productive. It helps me avoid stagnating in one task for too long because I can always think more about it while being productive in another task. It also feels good, I don't get so frustrated with things and it allows me more freedom to do things I enjoy.

I recommend Krav Maga but I think your teacher and school are also very important factors in making a good selection. Some of what Krav Maga teaches either doesn't work or doesn't work for everybody, so you need a good instructor to recognize and point those things out to students and train their students. I think it's a good idea to check out all the schools in your area and find the best one that works for you.

I think the key is to fall for each other together, so that the love is shared rather than something that is only held by one person. When love, attraction, or affection is unrequited then it is something that only exists in the head of one person, and it is a different kind of love than love that is shared and reciprocated. It's ok to love someone or something that doesn't love you back, as long as that's understood and expectations are kept in check. Imo real love between people is a relationship that's built, it's not an emotion that comes and goes.
Imo there's no healthy alternative no neediness or clinginess, like there's no healthy alternative to an illness or disease, the healthy alternative is just not to have it. I think to love someone in a healthy way we need to love ourselves first and see romantic partners as wonderful additions to our lives, but not strictly necessary for happy and fulfilling lives. In that way we can have a solid foundation to give and recieve love that doesn't demand it from another person because we give the love we need to ourselves. That way we can let our lovers love us freely as they choose, and we can be happy with whatever love we get because it's just a wonderful addition to our lives.
I consider myself a "hopeless romantic" as well, but no matter how strongly I feel about another person I only express my feelings on a similar level to my partner. It's like a dance, or cooperative play, one person can't do all the work, love is a cooperative activity done together, like running a race with one leg tied to the other person's leg. If you try to do too much more than the other person then there's no balance and problems arise.

Sorry to hear about your frustrations comrade. I used to run into similar situations a lot. From what you've said, it looks like you lost her when your texting stopped being reciprocal and you started spamming her when she wasn't responding. It seems to me that you didn't give her enough space, overwhelming her and causing her to pull away from you. She may have taken that as an indication of potential clingyness and it likely scared her off.
I suggest next time waiting for her to respond to you when she's ready. I know it can be agonizing, but it's shows that you respect her boundaries and aren't needy/clingy. If she doesn't respond for over a week, then maybe send a follow up text.

I would have a hard time deciding between Cuba and China. Cuba just seems like it would be an awesome place to live in terms of lifestyle, but I would feel safer from imperialism in China and would enjoy exploring the amazing geography of the country.

I plan on using the belt..... and road initiative! No I work in early childhood education so I plan on teaching them good social skills, principles of fairness and justice, and generally hiding the communist veggies in the mac and cheese so to speak, educating them about the problems our world faces, etc so they're ready for theory and complex concepts when they get older.
Or I might get them to just memorize theory like the bible idk

Learn how to survive and practice what you learn. The key to surviving is proper training. Learn how to not be a target and then don't be a target. Learn how not to become a victim and then train and live so as to survive and not become a victim. Always be aware of your surroundings and be willing to fight and escape like your life depends on it because it literally does.

Since we're fighting for the hearts and minds of liberals we shouldn't alienate them unnecessarily. I was a starry-eyed, bless-your-heart type liberal who considered myself a good, intelligent person, but I was never exposed to anything that would have allowed me to see through the propaganda until my mid-20s. But when I was, everything clicked and I was able to accept communism and ML pretty easily. It took a long time but I came around.

I got in touch with a friend from uni who now lives in the EU and he's asking me for evidence of the far-right problem in Ukraine's government and military. This has been so evident to me for a while now that I don't have anything off the top of my head. Can anyone provide any quick links that are a good introduction for a newbie?
I finally got around to reading this the other day and I was absolutely floored by the wisdom of this book. Obviously it is a bit outdated and I don't agree with everything but I feel like I've glimpsed into the mind of a warrior who truly understood combat. Did anyone else have a similar reaction?
Excellent video! He makes some great points!
Hypothetically, there's no immediate option to escape a person who has attacked you and is intent on causing you further harm. Do you think you would be able to fight back and create an opportunity to escape? Do you have a plan for if things go sideways and you end up on the ground with them raining blows down upon you? Can you fight to survive until your last breath?
For the discussion of self-defence, martial arts, etc. Anyone want to help mod it?
Look at this lil chonk. Isn't that the cutest piggy you've ever seen? 😍 I'm only a few hours in but it already feels like the best Pokemon game ever. The starter choice was very difficult but I went with Quaxly. Who did you choose? What do the trainers of the grad think so far?
I fell in love with the track the first time I watched The Matrix. Everything about this track is downright sexy.
Everyone is more or less at risk of experiencing violence during their life. This is especially true for minorities, and as leftists in today's political climate. The risk of violence will undoubtedly increase as political climates change, so we must be ready to defend ourselves, our comrades, our family and friends, and our communities. I practise Krav Maga (I know) and have a limited background in wrestling, Karate, and Judo. It would be great to hear everyone's thoughts on strategies and tactics for self-defence so we can help each other become more prepared to face violent situations. If there's enough interest in the topic I think it would be a good idea to start a community for self-defence.
I saw this last night and it didn't disappoint. I didn't even know they were making a second one until I was looking for a horror film to watch on Halloween weekend. I loved the first one so I jumped on it immediately. Wow was it ever good. The eerie, dreamlike atmosphere of pure horror from the first film is gone, which is one of the things I liked to much about it, but the direction they took with it worked so much better. The film had so much more substance to it. It had thought-provoking themes of anti-capitalism, mental illness, and Halloween culture. David Howard Thornton and Lauren LaVera knocked it out of the park with their performances as well. Highly recommended.
I love the Akira clips for the video. I think they go really well with the track.
Although I felt like they could have edited down the first 3 episodes to 1 or 2, and some of the plot points seemed a bit lazy, I thought it was really good. It's very on-the-nose anti-capitalist and has some very clear parallels to our own world's revolutionary struggles and history. ::: spoiler spoiler I especially liked the merging of corporate security and the police force as a plot point, signifying that police exist to protect corporate interests. :::
