I dont think its possible -or easy- to install custom roms on samsungs since they dont allow unlocking the bootloader

Get a model near its end of market life, buy new the oldest you can find
This is a very good advice for someone who is buying a new phone to install a custom ROM on it, since they are indepandant effort they need some time to hack things and find workarounds

i don't think that's possible mate for 2 reasons :
- software companys pay antivirus software makers to flag and remove game cracks
- cracks use obfuscation and workaround techniques that are similar to whats used in viruses so most flag them as mallisious

Brother's driver install tool expects
dnf
,apt
, oryum
, and so it's incompatible with ostree-based systems like Kinoite or Silverblue. You can of course download the driver manually and install the necessary packages:
Not being able to provide support for every distro is the other edge of open source

Your phone has a snapdragon which is very popular chip to make ROM for but generally hard to unlock unofficially -not impossible though it's possible there is a workaround by now for your specific chip - on the flip side mediatek devices are less popular due to them refusing to provide the source code but to their partners. however they are well-known to be easy to unofficially unlock due to some vulnerability -in the bootloader- that they refuse to patch.
I did a leap of faith and I unlocked my phone unofficially (mediatek) but if you decide to flip that coin think hard about it and make sure you are well informed (like using your specific phone code name instead of brand name ex: instead of redmi 9 say "lancelot")

For people who say you should read the contract before agreeing to it. What about the hundreds of thousands? No, millions of people buying new windows laptops every year. Are they presented with any kind of agreement? I don't think so.

i don't want to start a war but sorry, office is the defacto when it comes to office work and libreoffice still have many problems with formatting and editing existing .docx files (things seem better when it comes to .xlsx and .pptx) not to mention that your documents might not look similar on both due to missing proprietary fonts.
its a good software in itself its just that its compatibility with office is a little dodgy

Well, I can. But the difference is so minor it won't make a difference in my opinion. Especially if you are listening mostly to digital music. It's a different story for classical, especially violin. But if i played for you both 320 kb mp3 and flac you probably won't notice unless i told you what to look for and thats fine.
I don't judge people Hobies, i just wanted To point out how both are somehow similar
The thing is that no one should listen 128kb mp3 -or youtube rip- and having a wide accurate color range screen is more important imo

It's just a technique that prevents selected apps from knowing that you have root access instead of just denying them the privileges.

I can't believe I'm saying this, but thank God my country developers are incompetent.
I was greeted with this message:"This app can't be used on a rooted device" And I was prepared to go through hoops to get it to work. you know, fucking safetynet and all. But it turns out that the solution was just enabling zygist on Magisk.

Here you go pal
Although it's a shame they don't have a vanilla variant for your phone model
Few advices before you start:
-
Before unlocking your bootloader be sure to logout from all your account esspecialy google ( otherwise you might get locked out from your device )
-
The unlocking process can be a removed ( The process has a Wait time. )
-
Before all that be sure to download your original rom ( also known as R_vendor ) and twrp for your specific device model
-
Also note that flashing your rom can be stressful and (in case something went wrong) It might require some time to fix everything up.
Do I still recommend it? Yes.
Edit: if you are locking for a guide i recomend this one

Despite it being one of the most popular and feature rich download managers out there and it being foss, it seems that most repos don't have it ( except for flahub iirc) Is there is any reason behind that? ![](https://lemmy.dbzer0.com/pictrs/image/3c7da33f-1643-4d6a-84a6-ab4396a449f2.png)
The full GTA V source code has been leaked The leak contains GTA V source code and stuff from Bully 2 and GTA VI Leaked in a discord server by a random British guy in the 360 modding community known to get sued by Rockstar multiple times "Now i am expecting a open source version of gta to arrive soon on linux natively . Tired of playing supertuxcart." [Here is the source.](https://twitter.com/vxunderground/status/1739263588408164859) Another [one](https://www.bleepingcomputer.com/news/security/gta-5-source-code-reportedly-leaked-online-a-year-after-rockstar-hack/).
Edit : i was ignorant when i posted this however i think it is still safe to say that internet in **most** 3rd countries is bad or expensive in comparison to their income

looks like rendering adblockers extensions obsolete with manifest-v3 was not enough so now they try to implement **DRM** into the browser giving the ability to any website to refuse traffic to you if you don't run a complaint browser ( cough...**firefox** ) here is an article in [hacker news](https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=36817305) since i'm sure they can explain this to you better than i. and also some [github](https://github.com/RupertBenWiser/Web-Environment-Integrity/blob/main/explainer.md) docs
yeah right BBC ,who told you that anyway ?
