There were a bunch of other companies who chose Rocky because they are owned by CIQ. I don't think it really matters at this point as realistically the FUD created by redhat has put all of these distros at risk for long term stability.

Basically someone from Redhat is on there saying how they are the victims and downstreams are stealing their stuff. Same talking points over and over.

We use matrix with Element and set up our own video server so that we can do video meetings etc. All encrypted and self hosted.

Vampire Survivors, Dome Keepers, Brotato are great games on the deck as well.

I would be more concerned about shipping from Amazon vs the quality. I stopped ordering drives from them after the last 2 I got from them were shipped in a bag with no padding.

I get a lot of those from lemmy dot world whereas pretty much everywhere else is fine.

I don't disagree although a lot of companies have made large investments into infrastructure so they will fight hard to get their return.

I think it will continue to throttle itself so the temps stay in spec. I would just make sure that you don't have any obstructions on the intake and the output.
