I thought because some people wouldn't know about the app and may think they have to pay
The same opensource app, downloadable on both stores but paid on playstore and free on fdroid. Is it legal and is it ethical? Why?

I agree, I am not the one that made the app. But anyway it's exactly the same with github apk releases. Just build the app with the code and compare I guess ?

I do too. It is open source https://www.distractionfreeapps.com/source.html

Snap is shit. I started using flatpak because apt didn't support apps that I wanted and snap only supported ancient releases. .deb is annoying too and .appimage I don't like to have the files hanging there

I agree and three dimensions is 100% better than two

What do you mean ? (sources)
QuantumSoul 3 months ago • 100%
Not exactly orthogonal, left right could be viewed as an Principal Component Analysis reduced to only one axis. So there are correlations between stances but so much dimensions lost that it's nearly useless

Why ^^ You can train a lora/checkpoint on those indeed

Those anticheats are so annoying. You can play brawlhalla on linux but since they added EAC you often can't play offline because of random updates

They were planning it long time ago but ai horde devs don't have time for it right now.
You can see discussion regarding it and the old krita horde integration in this discord

I am not planning on the algorithm part as it is too far for me and lemmy one is sufficient. That means you won't be scrolling for hours when you have catched up news, but I think it's a good thing since I don't want the addiction part. I was thinking about a very simplistic app with only the feeds we get in other clients, simpler than current clients.
I might have considered it too easy though looking at what you say

Would be funny if they find and replace Twitter with X everywhere

No no no. It does basic things and people can be good at using it, but it's objectively bad since it lack features available in nearly all image editing softwares. Look at Paint dot net for example

They do have internal concepts though: https://www.lesswrong.com/posts/yzGDwpRBx6TEcdeA5/a-chess-gpt-linear-emergent-world-representation
Probably not of what a human is, but thought process is needed for better text generarion and is therefore emergent in their neural net

Hehe I already do (I am in the discord server too) I don't know if we'd need to update anything for the clients for sd3
QuantumSoul 3 months ago • 100%
Exactly! Open source, better quality, better privacy, better editing tools, .. Why am I even comparing?
QuantumSoul 3 months ago • 100%
So that is the reason why paint was so bad for so many years. They were actually waiting for AI to improve the strokes so no need for good editing tools

If you do host it, I will update my sdnext remote extension such that you can use sd3 on sdnext without gpu, using horde instead
Hello, I'd like to build a mobile client for mastodon, lemmy and pixelfed that would be video/image focused with a scrolling ui similar to tiktok or the reddit video viewer. You would have a sortable/filterable feed with contents from different activitypub networks and would see it full page with a like/voting button on the right and the comments under. Does anyone know if such a client already exists, and if not, could any dev share starter point links for building such an app ?
