I beat the robo-scorpion and talked to Mobius. I ended up downing some mentats and a lab coat and convincing the Scientists that I was Mobius so they wouldn’t break out. I think my next plan is to gather Stimpaks and then head onto the Sierra Madre
The game is Fallout New Vegas. I’m going to mark this I beat Old World Blues today. I fought the giant robo-scorpion (I had to use up all my grenades left over from the death claw quarry to do it). I ended up lying and saying I was Mobius in order to beat it peacefully. I think for now I’m going to scavenge Stimpaks and other supplies before heading onto The Sierra Madre

The Stealth suit is currently my favorite armor. I’m debating wether to lose the AC of the ranger armor just so I can wear the Stealth Suit more
MyNameIsAtticus 22 hours ago • 100%
It’s worth picking up imo. Especially when it goes on sale for like 5$
MyNameIsAtticus 22 hours ago • 100%
The suit is definitely my favorite character(?) yet. If it wasn’t for the Armor level of the Ranger Armor the Stealth Suit may actually be my go to.
MyNameIsAtticus 22 hours ago • 100%
I’m playing entirely Vanilla
I meant to get a picture of the Suit or of me wearing it, but I’ll have to settle for this screenshot of the suit talking because Steam didn’t want to share the screenshots to my phone for some reason with the new update. I have to say. I wasn’t expecting to be emotionally manipulated by her when I’m low on Stimpaks. If I wasn’t constantly low on Stimpaks I think I would have felt bad.
I got the Stealth suit today. I meant to grab either a picture of the Stealth Suit or of me wearing the Stealth Suit, but none of the screenshots I took Steam wants to share with the new update. So I had to settle for this picture of her talking to me. I’m all out of Stimpaks and other healing supplies and now she’s been guilt tripping me by saying things like “Maybe you’d be better off with an Auto-Doc suit”. I was not expecting to be manipulated by a Sentient suit tonight. I also did the first stealth Mission for the Mark II suit, and I think I’ll go ahead and clear it tomorrow before I move onto the final mission of the DLC

I forgot to put the game title in the post like I usually do. My bad
I got around to getting the sonic upgrade and getting this thing out. It’s really creepy. I’m still going to wear it though because although the night vision is annoying it’s handy and it’s also the best armor I have on me since my Desert Ranger armor broke. Overall love the thing though, especially knowing the lore behind it
Im still working my way through Fallout New Vegas. I finally got the sonic emitter upgrade and broke this guy out. Really fucking creepy. Also the night vision is annoying (but helpful). I’m still going to wear it though because of all the effort I went through to get it (I Still feel bad about killing Gabe). I have one more part to finish then I think i head to the… *Forbidden Zone*

Far Harbor for me I feel like had the same feeling I had with the Base Game (except I love Far Harbor’s vibe far more). When I’m in the mood for it, it’s one of the best experiences I can have, but when I’m not I just can’t get into it. I still love both F4 and Far Harbor though

Not the Greatest of all time, but Growing up the two racing games I’d play the most was Forza Horizon and Little Big Planet Karting. Sadly I had to drop LBPK after my PS3 died and Forza Horizon I can’t find the disk for anymore.
being in here kind of reminded me of Honest Hearts and the kind of creepy factor that i felt when i was in the Survivalist's Cave or the REPCONN test site after doing Come Fly With Me (or just the entirety of dead money). Everything felt kind of haunted and empty and i had a creepy feeling like i was being watched. It also kind of reminded me of Lone Wolf Radio (Both the location and the old creepypasta by association). It also felt weird knowing that Ulysses had been here at some point and i am following his footsteps.
I'm still doing Fallout New Vegas (Someone else pointed out that 60 days would be considered a habit!). I went inside Ulysses' Point in the Big MT. That’s what we used to do (hence our chef’s “accident”), but then we all realized “Fuck. That’s the boat we spent 3 months saving up to buy for ourselves” And rushed to save it so we didn’t lose our log

It’s Wild seeing me referenced out of my posts. I’ve just been posting screenshots daily of my games and NV is currently what I’m playing through. I’d love to post here during my duration with NV though.
Today's game is Sea Of Thieves (sorry for the awkward Crop, one of my friends was talking in chat and I didn't want to put his username out there). We were celebrating with a friend today (still managed to make some time to work on FNV), and our "Chef" forgot he left some grubs cooking on my ship. We go to sell our loot, and come back to *this*. We just barely managed to save it while laughing our asses off about it.
MyNameIsAtticus 5 days ago • 100%
yeah, I've been doing a play through of NV, and Old world Blues is currently the one I'm on. Next I plan to do Dead Money (after I get some levels to prepare)
The game is Fallout New Vegas. I grabbed this one pretty early in my play through today when i decided to make a quick run by the Radar Dish to grab some ammo that i lazily didn't grab last time i was there. I took a detour back up to the top to share this screenshot of The Sink from the dish because i thought it was cool last time i was up here and wanted to get a picture this time.

I considered mods, but I’m using Linux and my modding experience with Skyrim was a headache so I vowed no more for Bethesda games. Dead money I’m dreading though. I’m already struggling with Roboscorpions so I may spend a few days grabbing as many Stimpaks and Healing supplies as possible after getting back (and fixing my ranger gear and pistol so I’m not relying on a grenade launcher)
MyNameIsAtticus 6 days ago • 100%
I took the walkway that runs from the dish to the cliff side, and just booked it while taking pot shots with my grenade launcher. It took me about 3 tries but i eventually got out
Today's game is Fallout New Vegas again. I *was* going to share a gorgeous pic i took at the top of the X-2 radar dish, but i went with this one instead because this stupid ass protectron for whatever reason in death decided he wanted to lag my game down to 2 FPS and clip around. So now i'm sharing the screenshot i took of him.
MyNameIsAtticus 7 days ago • 100%
i'm all out. I've been healing consistently off of nuts i got in Honest Hearts and mole rat meat, my chosen play style of shooting things with a grenade launcher has been more of a curse than anything.

i'll probably be sticking with NV for a while since it fits with my schedule (except for multiplayer games i play with friends, i tend to give those priority over single player games)

MyNameIsAtticus 7 days ago • 100%
So far, it's Mobius. I liked Klein a lot too though.
Today's game is Fallout New Vegas. I *finally* got it to work again after it kept crashing whenever i entered VATS. i ended up reinstalling (after backing up my saves) and now it works fine. I think this game i'll spend a while on because it works well with my schedule (I can save at any time and it uses up a low amount of battery on my Steam Deck). I *at least* want to get old world blues done, but i hope to finish the DLC, complete the game, and 100% all achievements. I took this screenshot while hunting down parts for the "all my friends have off switches" quest. This was in the area with the Spore People and Mr. Gutsy. I struggled with Mr. Gutsy and ended up saying Fuck it and used a grenade launcher on them. In this specific screenshot there is one right below the bridge from me which killed me right after the screenshot.

I’ve been playing on Steam Deck. I had a save on Xbox but when I made the jump to PC I bought RDR later that same year.
Today’s game is Red Dead Redemption 2. Me and a friend managed to find time to play Red Dead Online today and while we were delivering a bounty I came across this river and noticed how gorgeous the water looks (I have a thing for water in video games if you saw my Mario Galaxy Post). I quickly hopped over to single player to take a screenshot with the photo mode and it was raining when I got there.
MyNameIsAtticus 1 week ago • 100%
I’m just trying to find something that sticks with my schedule right now. I recently became really busy last August, so outside of multiplayer games it’s hard to find a Game that really sticks with my schedule. So I bounce around a lot looking for something.
MyNameIsAtticus 1 week ago • 100%
Some of them are multiplayer that I only really play with friends (Halo, Zomboid, etc). Other than that I just had a large backlog of games I was working on, but now I’m trying to find a single player game that fits with my schedule so I’m bouncing around until I find something that sticks
MyNameIsAtticus 1 week ago • 100%
Oh yeah. I just meant like a larger scale 24/7 server. Something where I can see it grow when I’m not there
Today’s game is Halo CE (Sorry to people who like to guess the game. This one is a bit of a trick). This is in fact not Ocarina of Time, this is me and my friend playing a Halo CE map that looks like Ocarina Of Time we found on the steam workshop. The controls were a bit glitchy (kept forcing me to target him), and I drove a horse into a ditch trying to run him over (said horse also didn’t have animations so it was just rolling). But besides that it was a lot of fun. I completely kicked my friend’s ass with my OoT knowledge. Me and him have also been doing a modded OoT multiplier run after I started my original one. So I may end up sharing a screenshot from that tomorrow if we play then.

I started doing that for my entire library after setting up a Media Server and dumping my BluRays and DVDs a while ago. I figured having those backups would be good. The hard ones are going to be my N64 cartridges I think, since there’s now CFW for the N64 and there’s no way to connect it to the PC without an external device.
MyNameIsAtticus 1 week ago • 100%
Not to sound greedy, but I was planning to keep these backups for myself. I don’t have anything rare, so anyone who wants the same games I have can easily get them from other places.
Today’s game is Mario Galaxy. I decided today was my day to be productive for once, and I dumped all my Wii games ROMs for safe keeping, along with all my Blu-Ray discs. While I was testing the Wii Games to see if they worked, I got distracted by Mario Galaxy. I chose this screenshot specifically because it shows off the water. Mario Galaxy is one of those games that has gorgeous water.

Sadly I have never beaten HL2, only made it so far before something fucks up my save, so maybe I’ll try and finish it this time (and hope nothing happens to it). I beat the OG half life though back in January, so much fucking fun, even with how old it is.

I’ve done the same to my friend before, except I spawned in Louisville, so that was the end of that run for him (And me too). After that we always play with the guts camouflage mod so we at least have a fair chance to make it out if one of use fucks over the other.

That’s the first I’ve heard of this guy. I just saved it to watch for later. It’s definitely amusing to watch. Things like this always are

Sadly the teleporter forced me to end my run. If I had more time I’d be interested in finding a way to skip it but sadly as it stands now that’s the furthest I can take it. I’m now realizing I should have timed myself though to really get into that speedrunning mindset
Today’s game is Half Life 2. I heard it got a UI update specifically for Steam Deck, so I had to try it. I ended up playing *way* more than I meant too (made it all the way to the Boat Segment and got stuck on the helicopter fight). I forgot how damn good this game is, it’s hard for me to resist playing it too and procrastinating all my other titles. Though ig all that matters is I’m having fun. I picked up the bucket in the photo at the train station and carried it as far as I could. I ended up getting all the way to the teleporter with it before sadly I lost it, ending what I’ve dubbed Bucket%. I found another one after that and carried *it* all the way to the sewage tunnels for fun, but accidentally dropped it and couldn’t get it back.
Today’s is a pretty Simple one. the Game is Project Zomboid. I usually don’t like sharing 2D games because they’re hard to make look presentable, but i also like sharing images that break out of my usual “Here’s a Landscape shot” and wanted to share this. Me and My friend had a cookout in a motel we have a Base in. My Character is a Regular Middle Aged Suburban Dad named Jerry, while his character is My Character’s Adoptive Stoner Son, named Cable. There’s a whole lot more “lore” behind them but that’s the general gist of it.
Idk if anyone has shared this yet but Weezer posted a early version of Undone that will be on the 30th Anniversary Version of the Blue Album
Today’s game is Red Dead Online. Me and a friend climbed a mountain we climbed a while ago (I may have actually shared that screenshot before). We figured out we could ride the others horse. So we rode from Ambarino where we were Wagon Surfing and decided to scale the mountain again and take a picture. This was somewhere in the West Elizabeth Region by Strawberry. I later threw us down a cliff and killed us both on my horse (all in good fun).
Today's game is FF XIV. I didn't do much today except play some FF XIV. i took this screenshot right outside Ul'dah after doing the Copperbell Mines quest.
The game is Sea of Thieves. Me and a friend did a Skeleton Camp, and after getting the treasure from the room in the screenshot above (worth 20k), we were attacked by these guys who rammed us. They sank our ship before we could get back on, so i spawned the ship back in, raced to pick up my friend. Then i sailed past the outpost, my friend jumped off to sell it while i sailed away as a distraction. Then once all our stuff was sold we hit anchor and attacked them. For a galleon manned by 2 guys, i think we did really well. We still lost but they took on a ton of water and after they sank our ship we went for the old bucket strategy and started filling it with water. It was a lot of fun. Whoever that crew was i owe them thanks for giving us an adventure.
A friend asked me to see how well Watch_Dogs runs on Steam Deck for them. I booted it up today and ended up just spending all day driving around the city and fleeing from the cops for destroying stuff. I took this Screenshot after doing one of the few missions i did. I took it in the Loop section I believe.
The game is Final Fantasy XIV. I had a friend wanting me to give it a try, and he bought the standard edition. So my hand was kind of forced. Here's a screenshot i took of the city i started in, Limsa Lominsa, after it started raining. You can see the tail of my Carbuncle there peaking over the top.
The game is Phasmophobia. A friend bought it for me so we could play together tonight. I took this in one of the early houses tonight. I know it's not *too* interesting of a screenshot, but it was floating there along with a picture frame and a phone. interacting with them made them vanish. ik there are ghosts in this game but i suspect this is not from one of them. It was interesting and i wanted to share for the night
Today's game is The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. today was exhausting and i really didn't feel like continuing Jedi Fallen Order tonight (still loving the game though), so i decided to take it easy and play Ocarina Of Time. I have a lot of fond memories of this game ever since i played the 3DS remaster in middle school. I'd probably put it in my top ten games of all time. I played through quite a bit and made it to Dodongo's Cavern. I've gotten kind of invested in this save so i may keep this up since i can milk a good 7 hours of battery life out of it on my steam deck and keep Fallen Order for when i'm at home on the Dock.
I was laying No Man's Sky with a friend tonight after cleaning up part of 100% of L.A. Noire (Got all landmarks and Street Crimes!). I'm still looking for the new floating islands they added, i'm half convinced i made them up in my head. I found a sentient orb i tamed with some creature pellets. I named him Orbo. Interestingly my friend claims he is a "bloody red pulsing orb" on their end, instead of how i see him, so he may be just a *little* cursed.
I was playing Sea of Thieves with some friends today. Game bugged out or something because they started rendering as skeletons instead of their avatars. So i guess i have my own literal skeleton crew now
Finally beat the AT-ST fight after getting a chance to tackle it again (I struggled *way* more than i should have on it). ::: spoiler spoiler I have to backtrack again too Zeffo, and ended up force shoving this clone trooper into a wall. the entire time he was yelling that he was going to get me and that I'm running away scared. ::: Would also love to point out that i love this games graphics. I feel like almost everywhere I've been has been gorgeous
I was playing Fallout 76 with a friend tonight and I found a fish in a toilet. It made me laugh more than it should have. This is what I chose to share tonight
I had a long day and decided to take things easy, so i played some Minecraft. Here's the little house i built. I went with 1.5 because that was the version i grew up with (Technically Xbox 360 Edition TU3, but Java 1.5 was the version i felt was closest to that)
I'm on a bit of a binge of Fallen Order (I want to make space in my backlog for when i pick up MGS V and FF7 Remake at some point). ::: spoiler spoiler I'm still on Kashyyyk. I'm stuck on a little mini boss fight with a At-St. I also met wookies. Their models freak me out for some reason. This picture was taken right before i take the lift up i believe. :::
Took this relatively early on, but while in the At-At i noticed the Storm Troopers in the chairs looked a little off while i was messing with the camera mode. You can definitely tell i'm not supposed to look too long at them. I thought it was cool though. Slap a Parental advisory logo on there and you have Album Art
After making a decent chunk in 100% L.A. Noire, i went back to (Modded) Skyrim to take a break. I took this while walking from solitude to Winterhold to start the mage's guild quest. I believe it's right outside of Solitude
It's L.A. Noire (again). I thought 100% would be easy business, just grab the cars i'm missing, wrap up the street crimes. I'd be finished by noon today and could finally figure out what New Vegas's issue was or go back to Skyrim or Fallen Order. Nope, i completely forgot about the Star System. Anyways, here's a screenshot of my 5 star run through Nicholson Electroplating, for the second time.
Today's game is L.A. Noire (also probably the last screenshot i'll take of it unless 100% takes longer then expected). I was up way later than i thought i would be completing it (Nicholson Electroplating didn't help), but i can proudly say i completed the story. ::: spoiler spoiler I took this screenshot in the tunnels in the final mission. I loved the last few chapters. It feels like it shook things up by making you the one fleeing and wanted by the law. :::
After having to shelve Fallout New Vegas for a bit because it was bugging out with vats, and picking up L.A. Noire again to scratch that same itch. I remembered why it was so addicting. ::: spoiler spoiler here's a screenshot i took while doing the last case in the Homicide desk. This was i believe the second clue where i had to climb the chandelier :::
Today's game is LA Noire. Playing Fallout New Vegas put me in a mood for that era, but i was having issues getting NV to run, so i launched LA Noire instead and played that since i had shelved it for a bit after one of the cases.
The game is Jedi Fallen Order. ::: spoiler spoiler I'm on a bit of a binge lately and finally got to Kashyyyk after doing the Zeffo homeworld. :::
the game is Jedi fallen order. I initially got *way* farther than this, but my game decided it didn't want to save and then by the first time i got here, i realized "oh shit, i missed a stim canister,". back tracked to go get that, and then hiked the entire way back here so i could finally appreciate the sights. (also, image is a fancy *uncompressed* PNG this time instead of a JPEG because i finally signed into Lemmy.world on my PC, so it looks even cleaner).
